Payer sa baguette en BTC, c'est possible
BTC is now the base.

Most of the exchanges have BTC as prime currency to trade with.

If BTC will have the hard fork, means BTC will sink.

Is that means that all exchanges will now put ETH as prime coin to trade with?

ETH have its own fork... and what now ? there is alt ETH that is all.

Stoping actions on exchages was month ago for ETH ! yea
so what now you want swith to ETH IMO much better would be LTC because that one had 0 network issues
maybe they are used less maybe not. But ETH getting BTC price is dream today especially when 3rd fork is cumming with POS change.

I don't think so neither, ETH is still in beta, and will need a lot of soft and/or hard fork to be fully operationnal.

no way, bitcoin will always be the king, even after a hardfork. Remember ethereum did a hardfork itself too, does not really affect much.

There is now way for ethereum to replace bitcoin. Thery are very different coins. Consider bitcoin as the fiat money of crypto market and ethereum as just a functional asset.

Let's go back and compare ethereum with waves, bancor and tezos. Bitcoin is not comparable with others.

If there is a fork/split then I'd imagine it's gonna cause some chaos in the exchanges.
Personally I'll be pulling any BTC from them till this all blows over.
Going to be quite a drop in liquidity.
Wonder if the likes of Polo will suspend trading?

Bittrex is already expanding ETH pairs. And in the future, they will include fiat pairs. I'm guessing they see Bitcoin not holding that top spot forever.

I personal think BTC will be in a better place after August 1st. If BTC sink all alt coins will go with it. I personally think eth is not there yet to take over BTC

No matter what bitcoin will face, it will always be the king of cryptocurrencies. If btc falls, others fall, if btc rise, others rise. And do understand fork isn't for bad or end of bitcoin but to give reboot to btc ecosystem. Don't you wanna see new members attaching to it, transacting bitcoin, giving it utility? It is only possible with amendments in btc through fork and I am sure btc will rise again with great force.

We shouldn't compare ETH with BITCOIN both have their own features. BTC will be base currency for all cryptos and other alts like ETH will always remain as assets for traders to pump & dump daily for profit.

Don't see this happening because even after the hard fork and division, BTC will still remain the father of all cryptocurrencies being the first one. Ethereum and other cryptos will make a small buffer for themselves when the hard fork happens but they can't pip BTC in the race for supremacy.

ETH is not meant to be a replacement for Bitcoin. It is not designed to be the world's best payment network. It is overpriced and over-hyped... until the developers can deal with the high transaction rates and have successfully implemented Casper & Sharding I would be weary of ETH hype. Other serious competitors to BTC exist, take Monero and LTC as examples.

- There are already ETH based market apart from usual BTC market, However ETH price will always be  based on BTC. Bitcoin will remain king in cryptos forever.

Forever in cryptos is like a couple of years )

No no no. Even if there will be a split that wont never happen. There is too much big investors with BTC for that to happen.
It is just a fork and that doesn't mean the end of it.
The throne will still be with bitcoin and ETH will stay there.
Let us not make conclusions out of this.

Why not, there is chance for ethereum be next bitcoins because ethereum had been succesfull in hard fork and ethereum's network running good without problem, but bitcoin's hard fork there is chance to be fail and there is chance to be succesfull, although we don't know what will happen after 1st August. The best way to see what will happen is just wait until bitcoins does the hard fork.

This is just a wet dream. If he see a hard split, there will be two version of bitcoin. One will die soon, and the other will be even much stronger than current bitcoin.

ETH has nothing to with this. Ether will fight to keep its second best position only.

Which 2 versions of Bitcoin we gonna see and which one of them will die?

How can you predict the future and saying Ethereum will only be second?

we will see a bigblockers chain like bitcoin unlimited (onchain) and a segwit2x with offchain. onchain ia the better option imo.
