There will be an extreme down effect, both mentally, emotionally and financially. Waking up to see what you once believed in and as much invested part of our income into disappearing, especially to those who already have a bigger portfolio then finding nothing left, it's a disaster no matter how we try to adapt since humans are quick to adapt to unfavorable conditions but definitely we must experience trauma.
Since it is not primarily our source of income, we can start all over again by changing our investment piece into something else, maybe something more physical that will also generate profits.

That would be a disaster, because I invested in cryptocurrency and I participated in the signature campaign, and it would be quite detrimental to my income. Especially in difficult times like now, I rely quite a bit on crypto to generate additional income for me, and also sometimes I buy some packages with crypto because the price is cheaper, so cryptocurrency is very helpful in my life. Although the case you mentioned is very unlikely to happen, but in the worst case it might have a significant impact on most of us here.

Of course this will really surprise me, because currently I put part of my wealth in crypto assets such as bitcoin. So if, for example, everything related to crypto, bitcoin and blockchain disappeared, of course that would make me personally a little sad. Because apart from the assets I invest in it, of course the crypto world has become part of my life now. Because cryptocurrencies like bitcoin have helped my economy become better. Apart from that, crypto also makes me more independent in terms of investments. Because honestly, almost 60% of my wealth is now invested in cryptocurrencies (the majority in bitcoin). So just imagine, if for example the crypto world disappeared, and all the assets in it disappeared, I would definitely be very confused. However, I am sure this will not happen, because crypto/bitcoin now has a very large community in the world. So it is impossible for any group to destroy and eliminate the crypto world. That's why I'm not too worried about it. Because I am very sure that this is very impossible to happen at this time. The point is that as long as the internet network still exists, crypto/bitcoin will never disappear. So my current stance is basically like that(there is an Internet=crypto/bitcoins are safe).
Lost my 99% of asset and become broke, quite literally.
I invested heavily in crypto because im attracted with the return, i cast aside golds and any other relatively stable asset because their return is so low it make me lost interest.
however, since adoption of crypto has been wide, it'll be quite impactful, there are plenty of people who uses stable coin for remittances, I think freelancers nowadays also receive stablecoin because it's that convenient and cheap.
therefore it will be pretty big impact since people are already used to it, not to mention big institutions are starting to leverage on blockchain to further improve efficiency of their business flow.

When your income stops, you will automatically try to find an alternative source of income in order to survive. You will try to find a job yourself or you will try your best to establish a new business system yourself. This is how people provide income systems in order to survive.Of course, even those who are into crypto full-time or have invested their entire fortune in crypto, they would have to move on with their lives if crypto suddenly disappeared. But this will be a disaster and it will take a long time for people to recover and return to normal life. So no one wants OP's hypothesis to happen.
For me, if that happens, I will be in disaster like everyone else because most of my assets are in crypto. My life won't stop because I have family, wife and kids and they are more important than anything but it will be a bad phase if crypto disappears.
To be honest, it would really make me feel sad and depressed seeing crypto is gone as well as this bitcointalk forum itself. This is already part of my daily routine, and the topmost reason why I have reach my position now, so if ever crypto will suddenly be gone, although life must go on but maybe not that profitable and meaningful anymore. So while crypto is still here, let's continue to take advantage every opportunity that comes so that there won't be regrets in the future.

There will be minimal change for me really, I'm bringing in an income from a variety of crypto sources that would be impacted but life moves on and you always have to keep adapting. The rest of the world would continue on, just like it did before 2009 when bitcoin appeared. There are still over 200 currencies in the world and you can even choose to ignore currencies right now, if you want to trade precious metals or use some alternative barter system and can find people that will share it with you. The blockchain idea however is very useful, that all previous transactions can be integrity checked in a long link to the current transactions, which would be a shame for the world to lose.

It would be a very unfortunate scenario for me, because I'm heavily into Bitcoin investment. I would have to start from zero once again through another categories of investments and another sources of income. Nothing that couldn't be done, though. I have to keep an optimistic mindset in every cases, because it's just money after all and it can be recovered through many different ways, since you have will and motivation to make it work.The most important thing you have in life is health. If you have this, everything else becomes possible. Therefore, nobody in healthy conditions should see a financial loss as the end of the world.
90% of my liquid assets are in bitcoin, so that would be a disaster. I also have some hard assets like real estate, cars and all that, so I wouldn't become poor all of a sudden, but life would suddenly become hard.

Not much tbh because I don't depend on crypto that much. Crypto is part of my portfolio and supporting me with some passive income but my own business doesn't rely on crypto. So If crypto disappeared tomorrow, I wouldn't feel it that much. My other assets would keep making me money and the world would keep spinning. You better have a back-up plan if crypto is your main way of making money. 15 years ago none of these existed and think about that a little and what would you do if crypto somehow failed.

Don't you think crypto as a sole revenue channel is a RISK ? Don't you think that you should ALWAYS have a backup or diversify the risk by starting your own business or getting a new education, for example, for a parallel, let's say for example, remote work that does not require 100% of your free time? I think it will never be superfluous, moreover, it will provide additional income

Life changes are certain, we will return to the era before 2009, where we will live again like people in 2008 and below, meaning without digital/crypto currency of course we will return to indexes that trade with local currency or foreign.My understanding is that not everyone understands crypto/Bitcoin, if you don't believe it, just research the area you live in, of the population around you, what percentage use crypto and who don't use crypto, I think the percentage is higher who don't know crypto.
Likewise with the economy, people's lives would be normal without crypto, so people were already living and the economy was more advanced before crypto was created, meaning it would have no impact on human life if crypto disappeared when they woke up in the morning, back to an era where crypto didn't exist yet.
It would be bad because I have my investments in some casinos and that would be a loss from my side.
But most importantly, this forum would cease to exist, which has been a part of the last 8years of my daily routine. Obviously this is a fictional scenario at present, who knows what might actually happen in the coming future. Nobody predicted a pandemic, a war to happen, but they did.
Lets not become pessimistic now and continue to accumulate bitcoin.
Certainly bad, but we all know it’s inevitable. That’s why instead of regretting this one day, we should start preparing ourselves now and invest while we can. And when crypto investments start to offer us significant profits, then diversification is the key. We can invest in stocks or real estate, or even in gold, so that if crypto will disappear one day, we won’t be left totally depressed since we already have build other investments with other assets. But most importantly, this forum would cease to exist, which has been a part of the last 8years of my daily routine. This could be the worst thing happen to me because I am completely depended on this in last ten years I have done nothing anything other than cryptocurrency and my all assets are having converted into Bitcoin, Ethereum and few other coins which I mostly love to keep in my accounts because when I started this journey I were never been having any positive idea about this but after having every new day in this crypto world and with achieving many things which were not possible without this now I have this is important part of my life until I exist.
If this disappears then surely I am having nothing to live and things can bring me on road but still I have full love for this and want to stay like this because for me this is the best option, but now I am trying to have my kids few other skills as well because depending on this alone is never been easy for everyone just person like me can do stay.

I will have financial difficulties and may have to start over again to find new opportunities, apply for jobs or continue the business I have been running before knowing the crypto industry. Your question scares me, because almost 90% of my family's income comes from crypto trading and investment. That's the answer that comes to my mind so far, honestly, not making up or dramatizing the story.
