I can not see how this can happen,

the Government can implement strong laws or regulations but only for tax Bitcoin

If removing it is not possible, since Bitcoin don't interfere with the government's financial

I hope that the Government would be to accept the potential perpetrators Bitcoin

Eliminate Bitcoin, I think this is a not an easy task, even very difficult. Bitcoin is a product of modern technology, blockchain, it is a kind of digital electronic money, no need to go through an intermediary financial institution, no one managed or controlled. Bitcoin decentralized nature, it has a different activity than the typical currency without a central bank to manage and it is only based on the network of Internet. To completely remove Bitcoin really need a lot of resources and I believe that this is impossible. Bitcoin may be banned in some countries, its price may be unstable, but Bitcoin can not be removed completely, I believe it.
Probably one person may stay away from using bitcoins but that also now a days will not be possible as he might get attracted toward bitcoin is he is working online. Maybe for the people who are not having internet connection, I guess it would be possible to omit bitcoins.
But literally it will not be omitting as they are living in different world as in most of the country a life without internet maybe similar to living in a den.

You cannot simply eliminate a technology that are decentralized. If Bitcoin was run on centralized servers, some government could have taken them down, but not Bitcoin. Bitcoin runs on 1000's of computers and cannot be taken down at the same time, these computers are spread globally.

The governments may implement strong laws or regulations, but people will still be able to use it globally. ^smile^
Im thinking how about  the blockchain or the whole blockchain instead of eliminating other computers of every country..
Since bitcoin just made by a team of satoshi nakamoto and i think if their found who made bitcoin they can eliminate since satoshi have an access in whole blockchain.. that is why i think satoshi is always hiding.. because of this..

I think you have a point my friend, though it can't be taken down that easy. And if they really want to take it down, they must have done it a log time ago when bitcoin is not even that popular because icknow they had realized that it will be a problem.

Trust me, if government really wanted to destroy bitcoin they would do it already. It may not be easy but it is doable.

1. If they would initiate a BTC ban and heavy smearing campaign, it would put off majority of people from using BTC.
2. They can't kill the network, but they can hinder it greatly. For example, gov can target ASICs manufacturers. Disrupt their business or try to force them to add a kill-switch to their products etc.

1. I would like to ask; When we speak about the government. Which one? The Chinese, the USA, the Russian or anyone elese, because till now there is not a universal government. On the other side there countries like as Switzerland which is crypto currency friendly.

2. No they cannot because they know that after every ban or a hostile movement bitcoin always is getting stronger. Only bitcoin will kill bitcoin and the governments as well as the banks know that. If bitcoin ecosystem will not find a solution in scaling issue then people will not use bitcoin as payment system but only as commodity in exchanges and markets. So fiat will have not any fear from this usage of bitcoin.

Omitting bitcoin in 2017 is already too late!
It is hard for people even to affect 10k btc nowadays. Bitcoin has spread its reach among more than 10 millions people in more than 160 countries. The Bitcoin has provided the feature of decentralization which made it possible for people to become a sole owner of their Bitcoin. It is almost impossible for anyone to omit bitcoin hold by others.
Yeah I am quite agree with you that omitting or eliminating it now is quite impossible as this may happen if you said this around 2 0r 3 year after establishment of bitcoin but now it has a huge no of user and huge number of user is attracting towards it and it has spread arround all over the world so I think now it is impossible to eliminate it.

You are the bitcoin.
If they can't stop you running bitcoin node at home, they can't stop the bitcoin.
Bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies are decentralized and because of this it can not be wiped out. If it is possible to wipe bitcoin out from existence, they could have do it since, as bitcoin is against the desired of monetary policy makers and the world elite. The only way they can attack it is through media propaganda outside that nothing can be done to wipe it out from existence.

What if anyone wants to eliminate the bitcoin
This question always arises in my mind
as we know that digital currency it could eradicate the economic problems of each person.
But what if no one from the Government or concerned with currency want to eliminate the bitcoin.
I need to friends who are here to give you a bit of advice for me regarding this myself ...

Well, I guess it would take a lot of time for him to eliminate bitcoin, maybe forever is enough lol. Eliminating something big is not that easy, specially bitcoin, because like the others said, that bitcoin is a decentralized one, then it would be really impossible to someone just to eliminate it or shut it down whenever he likes it. It is not something that we can just do in a blink of an eye. It is like finding the end of the rainbow after the rain.

Why would someone want to eliminate bitcoin.
It is a good crypto currency and is working perfectly.
And in case it stops functioning , we can't do anything except regretting and finding a new way of investing

We all cannot predict what will be in the future of bitcoin. We only see the positive ideas and what will happen to bitcoin, but what if bitcoins will be omitted, we cannot withdraw our money, we cannot payout, or all our earnings and efforts will be lost. We should prioritize first, the securities of our bitcoins, before they will omit the bitcoins

Also people cannot case according to the terms.
So in such a situation you loose all you money.
But it won't close right away.
You should have enough time to convert your BTC into fiat

Yeah, I don't think that bitcoin will die out that fast and easily since bitcoin is clearly gaining people's attention, there are positive ones and the negative but the positive view of point is taking over the place. Although there is a small possibility of disappearing, bitcoin will survive for a long long time before becoming extinct.

Has government ever been able to check illicit drug business, money laundering, terrorism?.
In today's world of sophisticated technology, government can not control every action of its citizen.
Bitcoin will survive any ban albeit it will be used stealthily.
I have no doubt that bitcoin will survive the ban. But at what cost? Global adoption dream will be shattered, progress hindered, bitcoin users reduced to being terrorists and criminals.

Would you still use bitcoin when it was explicitly said by your government that Bitcoin is undesired and harmful currency? Would you risk it just in the name of freedom?

I think it will be difficult to bring down bitcoin, bitcoin is created by people's power, the control is on the people who used it, single community or government won't be able to bring down and eliminate bitcoin, to really bring down bitcoin you need to stop everyone in this world to used bitcoin and I doubt somebody can do that thing
