We should send our kids to school for them to learn how to communicate to others and for them to enjoy being with others...

I would love to hear the solutions for socialization considering homeschooling.

Possible ways to foster socializing include getting in contact with other families who homeschool their children, offering your children to go to a sports or similar kind of club that they enjoy, they can go to music school and/or band practice, or they can just socialize through the internet. I'm sure there are countless other ways too.

The only opportunity schools provide is the opportunity to lose your curiosity and drive to explore. People who went to school usually don't care about exploring anymore and just want everything "now" and "fast", because the exploration process is not relevant in school.

Don't need a private teacher either, especially not with the internet.

In my country, it is legal to teach kids at home and some people do that but 99% of the population goes to public school. Those who teach at home are often strongly religious.

Educating a child goes beyond teaching them only the things in the syllabus or text books, the privilege to be taught aside from their parents is good for them, even though i quite subscribe to the idea to always re-teach our kids because it strengthens the bound between parents and child.

we send them to school because there are things that they can only learn in school. Cause we all know that the best teacher is our own experience. Secluding them at home will give them a culture shock when they come out of their comfort zone.
