Actually, to educate children is the obligation of parents, the basic education required a mother or father to teach it
But with their preoccupations forgetting it plus government regulations that require learning by the rules in the covert

School is a formal place for them to be educated. This place is also a better for socialization.
It is good for our children to meet other children or people so that they can see their uniqueness and difference with them.
The school is also their second home and the teachers are their second parent surrogate.

We send them to school to help them see how reality works. And without that experience our kids will be ignorant to future interactions with people they did not encounter. In school there will be competencies and real life interactions through real students. It is most likely to help the child be more active and less likely to have struggles with real life challenges.
You can see on the internet how ignorant, intolerant and tribal people are. No need to go to school for that.

Educating our kids at school or home is a good thing. It depends on their parents. If their parents want their children to be excellent in their academic achievement,  then homeschooling is a right choice because I see that homeschooling only focuses more on children's academic achievement or their cognitive skill. Meanwhile if we send our kids to school,  they will get a holistic learning which includes cognitive,  affective,  and phsycomotoric skill. Those three skills that we can get at school. They will be good at their academic,  non academic,  and their personality.

If we can educate our kids at home why do we need to send them at school?

If socialization is a problem in homeschooling, there are many solutions to that ;-)
For me, Schools are there to teach kids what we cannot teach. For sure every individual have a weakness in academics. And kids that are homeschooling are hard to catch up in the outside world that really different.
That's not true. Kids who have been homeschooled generally outperform traditionally schooled individuals by tremendous margins. Universities all across the world are increasingly accepting homeschooled people over schooled students due to their extraordinary independancy and problem solving skills.
The founders of Google were homeschooled as well by the way, and there's countless of other prominent examples.

Furthermore, with internet courses schools are completely irrelevant nowadays. They're just a relic of the past and will eventually disappear if they don't perform some very drastic changes to their policies.

Highperformers/Bosses tend also to be on average more sociopathic, makes kinda sense I think.
Bosses aren't homeschooled. Homeschooled people are generally far more empathic and open-minded than schooled children. Also, most people who are nice are shallow and rotten to the core. I would be very careful around anyone who's acting nice too much, they're usually very dishonest.

The roles of both teacher and parent are somewhat similar but one is always greater than the other in certain aspects. Teachers can teach the general subjects better than the parents. These subjects include math, science, language and literature. Teachers have a better affinity and mastery over these subjects, however, they can teach these subjects better specifically to children who has no clue of what the subject is. The parents, on the other hand, can better teach their children the morality and values of a family which a teacher cannot because the two are of separate families.

Therefore, the teachers must teach the general subjects and theories and the parents to teach the values.

I think the answer here is pretty obvious. We have licensed and very well practiced teachers more capable of educating our children than us. These teachers have molded their art for so long that it's actuallt easy for them to teach things compared to us whom I know will have a difficult time teaching other subjects. Let the teachers do their job.

I do not agree with your claims which you have mentioned above. Socialization is one of the main problems in homeschooling. Besides this, Kids must be learnt how to behave in social areas, must learn to share etc.

I think its important kids get out, kindergarden/school to just grasp a wider spectrum instead of a probably quite narrowed view of only a few persons. you never can be as old as them, which is a big limitation. Dont limit your child beacause you think its a good idea Tongue

I think that sending our kids to school does not only mean that they learn something that we cannot teach but also they learn how to interact with other kids. They can improve their socialization skills by playing and talking to them. They can develop what are their talents by connecting their self with others. I also think that sending them to school can teach them what we cannot teach or give them answers we cannot answer.
They are actually hindered from developing their talents, because kids tend to bully anything that doesn't fit their ideas of "normal".

some parents are too lazy, some are too traditional. And kids do need to socialize
The socializing argument simply doesn't hold. There are far better ways to socialize than school. And that's not even including the internet whatsoever.

we can educate our child at home . but it is not possible to  teach all the things that they need to learn. In our home, we can teach them basic etiquette , their responsibility and some basic knowledge .But, in school they learn new things , different subjects , make new friends  and much more which we cannot provide them at home .  Smiley
They can make friends at clubs or other gatherings that are directly relevant to their interests. School actually achieves the opposite of "making friends" for a very large number of people, so socializing is not an aspect that is best learned in school.

School also does a very good job at getting people to think in binary boxes and to make false assumptions about their own interests and abilities. Children are very curious and want to know, learn, do and try everything. Until they start going to school. At that point they start hating everything that is related to effort.

Kids should only go to school if their parents literally don't have the time they need to spend with their own children.

Many unfortunately do not have time to deal with children, but there is an opportunity to invite teachers to help the child develop fully. I know children at home school and they are 14 years old can write their own book or make a good idea for business.
Yeah, that's what happens when you allow children to develop with their own interests in mind. They will naturally challenge themselves if it's something that they care about.

I just hope that people will start realizing that it's best to first achieve full financial security and then have children. That way they can decide whether or not they want to work part-time or not at all if they need extra time for their children. The way people procreate right now is fit for monkeys and early stages of humanity, but we should be past that mindless breeding by now.

Learning in a school is very different from learning at home. At school, you not only get education but many other things like how to talk to others with manners, cooperation, teamwork and you even get to learn so many things from others which you don't get at home.

Because there are technicalities and certain learning that we as parents or even people who grow old have forgotten and might have not been able to teach it to our kids. Yes we can educate them about manners and good conduct and we might be even able to teach them a thing or two about real lessons on math and science and grammar. Yet there is no denying that a full pledged education wherein our childrten can learn in an academe is priceless.
