we can educate our child at home . but it is not possible to teach all the things that they need to learn. In our home, we can teach them basic etiquette , their responsibility and some basic knowledge .But, in school they learn new things , different subjects , make new friends and much more which we cannot provide them at home . 
They can make friends at clubs or other gatherings that are directly relevant to their interests. School actually achieves the opposite of "making friends" for a very large number of people, so socializing is not an aspect that is best learned in school.School also does a very good job at getting people to think in binary boxes and to make false assumptions about their own interests and abilities. Children are very curious and want to know, learn, do and try everything. Until they start going to school. At that point they start hating everything that is related to effort.
Kids should only go to school if their parents literally don't have the time they need to spend with their own children.
Many unfortunately do not have time to deal with children, but there is an opportunity to invite teachers to help the child develop fully. I know children at home school and they are 14 years old can write their own book or make a good idea for business.
