As long as the capital you use is money you can afford to lose, willing to invest in any coins is actually not a big problem. But I suggest that 50%
buy Bitcoin and 50% can buy top altcoins. With such a distribution of capital I have managed to get a satisfactory profit. But depending on
the strategy you want to use too, if it is for a long-term investment I will place 80% in Bitcoin. The most important thing is my advice to avoid
investing in low volume coins, as long as the coins you want to buy are high in volume it should be safe to buy. In the end, you have to decide,
because only you know what is best for you.

Investing $ 4,000 in something depends a lot on your purpose in the crypto market and what risk you can take.
If you want to make money quickly, you should invest in new projects, if you want a low-risk investment, you should invest in large projects in the market.
investing in a new project is very risky friends.
if we can't analyze properly it looks like we are just wasting money and will see us lose all our money on new projects. The most important thing is that if you want to invest in new coins, you have to keep a reserve of coins that are already popular and have high selling value, such as bitcoin, eth and BNB.
Yeah. If there is enough knowledge to analyze and separate from shitcoin.  Certainly there are still quality new projects.  For example: Sovryn - an ecosystem of defi, staking, borrow, lending on the bitcoin protocol is something that is trustworthy, no exaggeration needed.  It still has its own way to shine and earn x3-x5.  Here, the risk is the benefit.

If you had 4,000.00 USD to use to invest in cryptocurrency, and that was all the money you can afford to use for crypto investments for the year of 2021, where would you put it?

I'm just curious to see what kind of opinions I would get in a forum like this. I'm hoping that I might learn something as a beginner in the crypto world as a result of putting this question out there. Smiley

Keep in mind thought that I already understand 3 things:

1. Never invest any amount of money that you can't afford to lose, because crypto markets are so volatile that it's a risk no matter what you do, and I get that.

2. I'm not asking you to tell me which crypto to invest in, just curious what your opinion is.

3. I understand that what I do with my money is my responsibility, and nobody else's, and the results of my investment(s) whether good or bad, is on me. Smiley

If i have owned $4000000 i will invest in much safer alternative coin maybe in the top 5 in coinmarketcap. First selaction is ethereum, we all know ethereum has been phenomenal in the crypto industry, you can trade and invest in eth ang make your money profitable 2x and more as long as you know how to trade with it.

Good plan not putting your money in one single project, those coins that you choose are graded coins that always have good potentials, long term goal, it will bring very decent profits.
Diversification is always a key. But, sometimes I do think when we have bitcoin then why should we need to look into any other altcoins? Bitcoin's performance track is like that which will continue in coming years as well hence sometimes risking on any other altcoins seems unnecessary risk filled.

more on your list are still far from it's last time high and other are already surpassed the ath but still got the big chance to move forward and reached new time high.
What will be the assurance for them to get back to test ATH again? In my opinion most of altcoins will never get back to ATH in BTC values. So, for the people who invest BTC into altcoins might not get back what they actually look for.

- New projects are just a form of fast food but sometimes too fast will create danger for customers, if we do not have too much money, it is best not to participate in this lottery game, optimal options are still the names you are nominating for, their values and features are mentioned too much. But right now, this is not the right time for investment, stockpiling was the stage where quite a while ago, for now, it's just a matter of sitting and watching our assets rise and waiting for the market to reestablish its starting position

Buzz App - Spin wheel, farm rewards
maybe I'll invest in
$ 1 000 for bitcoin
$ 1 500 for ethereum
$ 1 500 for BNB
I might think about investing in a new coin, but it needs support like a list in a big market like Binance, and having a trusted team. after all, it is my first choice. I have more investment in ethereum and BNB because the price is still lower than bitcoin. so, the potential benefits are greater. that's what I thought.

Each has their own favorite coins so each will have a different portfolio.
However, you should not invest all in one currency, it is best to split $ 4,000 and invest in different potential currencies.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Regardless of the money involvement I would stick to top 10 coins and most of that would probably go towards bitcoin and eth. I would say 60% would be btc, 30% eth and rest would be divided equally between the rest of them. Today we have wide variety of good coins running so it would be safe to pick any of them from the list.
That is not really a bad distribution if you were to receive that kind of money, when people receive money that they did not expected they have the tendency to go crazy and spend it all but that kind of behaviour always leads to making huge mistakes, thinking about investing that money is a great step forward but even then people make the mistake of investing in all kind of exotic altcoins when we know that the success rate of those coins is probably less than 1%.

From the little experience am having if am having this kind of money and am going to invest in Cryptocurrency definitely am not going to invest all my fund because whenever you are investing in Cryptocurrency don't invest all your funds and always invest what you can afford to lose. If am investing am going to invest 35-50% of the money and if am investing in any coin am going to invest in Bitcoin that's one of the best coin which everyone can buy bitcoin price is still very low so you can just buy it and keep.

crypto like BNB, Doge, ADA are more profitable at this time. I think $4k is enough to invest on these coins.
I do not think so. It would be high risky if we leave off bitcoins and investing into only altcoins. The coins that you have suggested are good ones but you must have bitcoin also in your portfolio as a pivot one and all other coins may be in small percentage will be good.

If i have 4000$, then i divide this amount into 4 parts. And it means my every worth of 1000$. If my trade is going opposite to me, then i use the second portion for average. And i invest my money in different coins.
Sounds reasonable on quick reading. But, OP is seeming like asking suggestions only for investments and trading may not be part of their plans. Anyway, when you have back up funds for your trading the chances to multiply your capital will be higher which may beat the returns of one investor could make in same time period.

I want to share my trading strategies with you. If i have 4000$, then i divide this amount into 4 parts. And it means my every worth of 1000$. If my trade is going opposite to me, then i use the second portion for average. And i invest my money in different coins. Because if i struck i one coin then the other coin recover my loss. This is  my strategy for day trading.
But what about if you invest on a potential crypto currency? I know that it is really hard to predict the price of crypto currency but crypto like BNB, Doge, ADA are more profitable at this time. I think $4k is enough to invest on these coins.

I would probably do the same, I mean I could have ridden the hype train a long time ago but my dumbass is so lazy to make some money for initial capital. I wouldn't recommend that in the long term that you will go for bitcoin alone because by time, you should slowly diversify the way you make your money. Although this is all just hypothetical, I can feel the feeling of putting all that money in something that is guaranteed to grow.
At the least you are already here because some didn't even have the guts to really go in and you finally had the drive to go although it is a little bit too late. The price of bitcoin overtime is enough proof that I can go all in with it because alts have a problem of staying alive but bitcoin is already tested.

At the moment I can't invest in any coin other than Binance Coin.  Of all the coins in the cryptocurrency world that have not pumped up the most, they have pumped the most.  If I had 4000, I would have invested all the dollars in Binance Coins.
No, that's wrong. Never put all your money in one coin. Never put all your eggs in one basket Even though Bnb is a good coin, but it doesn't mean you have to put all your money into it. It is always good to invest in two or three coins.

There's always a different perspectives between every investors.

Can't blame anyone if they do trust prject that they believe that will bring them fortune, and beside BNB as we know we know it there are many factors that investors will ride to this project, if you go Yolo it's a must that you are willing to take all the responsibilities and risk whatever happened you are willing to embrace the outcome.

I would probably go all in bitcoin because I believe that by the end of the year, I am sure that the bitcoin price is going to get higher and I don:t want to be FOMOing about it, ride the hype train before its too late, am I right?
Nah. I think if I have the same money I would like to put 60% of my money in BTC then the rest will be altcoins like BNB, ETH and ADA. Those are tokens I would like to invest.
I have trust also in altcoins since they been hype and major upgrades going on and they have a good roadmap ahead. I think it's not too late for us to invest more in cryptocurrency. $4,000 is really good money to start, I'm just new in crypto trading and I don't want to risk the money I have if I know that I might lose it since I have lack of knowledge about trading. Holding is my best option and don't sell if unnecessary.

sometimes people think differently where to put their money. I think right now we can only take good steps whether everything will be put in its entirety to bitcoin or partially saved to altcoin. so I think this is purely everyone's best choice
