[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
$4k is big money for me and I consider it great for future savings. I'll put it all in bitcoin. As I read the news about major institutions starting to invest in bitcoin, I realized that in the future bitcoin will dominate the cryptocurrency space beating altcoins despite its million functions and use cases.
From the start, bitcoin was only an alternative payment option, that's all. Altcoins are a competition that can beat each other because they have to offer a myriad of solutions to solve a problem in order for them to attract crypto users.

Bitcoin. It should be pretty obvious. Is there even any better coin with the best risk:reward ratio out there? I don't think so. Personally, I'd just lump sum buy that $4k USD into bitcoin right now and just hold it for years and years and years and let demand and the scarcity to do the magic.
But what if i want to do short term investment. Like 2 or 3 months?

I will buy and all in in BNB later staking on Binance waiting what new launchpad coming, this best way how to get much profit with BNB always up trend but I can earn new coin on Binance launchpad. Still always have new listed coin on Binance when you staking or holding BNB you can get double chance from BNB raise up and get new coin on binance wallet.

Well, for $ 4000 at the moment.  I will go with BNB, the next phase is the burning plan, that will have a momentum driving the price, with the increasingly large user move to BSC from ETH.  I will definitely try to make a big profit ~ 8.5BNB (4000 $) from this point. Hold BNB to rich. Kiss
Agree, BNB is a great token and a lot of uses like trading fee discount, BSC where BNB can grow and increase its price when they launch tokensale and airdrops. Burning is a great way to increase its price, and that's one thing I like in BNB. $4,000 for me is a big money, I would happily invest it in cryptocurrencies that I know for sure that I will gain profit. I will aim for long-term and just wait for 2-3years when another bullrun will happen. I make sure that my money will worth to invest.

If you had 4,000.00 USD to use to invest in cryptocurrency, and that was all the money you can afford to use for crypto investments for the year of 2021, where would you put it?

I'm just curious to see what kind of opinions I would get in a forum like this. I'm hoping that I might learn something as a beginner in the crypto world as a result of putting this question out there. Smiley

Keep in mind thought that I already understand 3 things:

1. Never invest any amount of money that you can't afford to lose, because crypto markets are so volatile that it's a risk no matter what you do, and I get that.

2. I'm not asking you to tell me which crypto to invest in, just curious what your opinion is.

3. I understand that what I do with my money is my responsibility, and nobody else's, and the results of my investment(s) whether good or bad, is on me. Smiley

To choose a cryptocurrency for investment, I would go to Coinmarketcap and look for cryptocurrencies there that have not yet exceeded their last peak in price. Of these, for example LTC and TRX. Why is it so? I believe that the top cryptocurrencies will definitely rise above their previous highs in 2017 in 2021. But I would also think about buying ETH because there is a possibility that it will show good growth both in principle and BTC by the end of 2021.

I would probably invest 80% of it in bitcoin and 20% in altcoins such as BNB, SOL, ENJ, and CAKE. Bitcoin is the absolute go-to if you have that kind of funds and the other 20% is a pretty good amount to put into altcoins considering that they are on the trend and I can easily make short trips on other altcoins after I profit out the current one. Having bitcoin on the portfolio wouldn't be a bad decision for sure.

This very question came up some days ago, on the forum, the op says, he want to take the risk of investing with his $150k, that's certain that many people will advise you to invest in bitcoin as they did with the this user. $4k is a huge sum of money to start with and as you have said, that that's what you can afford, that idea of using all what you have is not appropriate.

Besides, if I hold that amount of money, 70% will be subscribed to an NFT site where I will learn the skills of creating art works from the scratch, that's basically a good idea, imo

Yes we all  know that without taking risk we can not gain anything .I think we should need to be more careful about crypto cause the market is so volatile here as you said and we all know it .I think we need to be more wise and analyse our self before investing .

If I had $4,000, I would invest $3,000 to BTC and the remaining $1,000 for stocks just to diversify my investment portfolio.

Generally, the amount allocated to BTC would fall either for short/long-term depending on its increase on its value. While in stocks, I would definitely invest the for long-term by acquiring stocks of blue chip companies/businesses.

I would probably go all in bitcoin because I believe that by the end of the year, I am sure that the bitcoin price is going to get higher and I don:t want to be FOMOing about it, ride the hype train before its too late, am I right?

Bitcoin surely is a good investment but financial investment experts discourage the investing in just one line. As we have bitcoin, there are also good altccoins to invest in at sameeyime. So diversifying is good in our financial investment because you can't be too sure of life likewise your investment so that when one isn't producing profit, you can turn around for the other profit that will help you. I have seen at times there some altccoins that pump very fast while bitcoin doesn't and at such time, you can go with the profit from the altccoin.

Basing it primarily on its price history, bitcoin would be the safe bet among the other cryptocurrencies. Its value remains to be at the top and its potential of doubling or tripling its value in a few years can definitely happen.

Nah. I think if I have the same money I would like to put 60% of my money in BTC then the rest will be altcoins like BNB, ETH and ADA. Those are tokens I would like to invest.
I have trust also in altcoins since they been hype and major upgrades going on and they have a good roadmap ahead. I think it's not too late for us to invest more in cryptocurrency. $4,000 is really good money to start, I'm just new in crypto trading and I don't want to risk the money I have if I know that I might lose it since I have lack of knowledge about trading. Holding is my best option and don't sell if unnecessary.

Honestly 4k is around the amount of money that would be great to just put on 4 big coins and just let it be, I do not see any bigger changes. For example if you buy 1k worth bitcoin, ethereum, bnb that is 3k right there, I think you should decide on your fourth, but I would still advice against xrp, I would say pick something else, uniswap seems to be doing great with the eth fee's being so high, when the eth fee drops after July (hopefully) I am pretty sure uni token prices would go up as well, but that is just what I believe, I could be wrong.

If you buy 4 coins like that for 1k each that would make it 4k. I do not think that you could do anything else really, it is not like a huge number that would require a lot of changes, sure you could maybe get 8 instead of 4 and do 500 each but I do not think that it will be that much of a shocking difference.

I would probably do the same, I mean I could have ridden the hype train a long time ago but my dumbass is so lazy to make some money for initial capital. I wouldn't recommend that in the long term that you will go for bitcoin alone because by time, you should slowly diversify the way you make your money. Although this is all just hypothetical, I can feel the feeling of putting all that money in something that is guaranteed to grow.

Make investment in crypto usually i see background of the coin. Maybe in past, Bitcoin and ETH will be good since it is still on peak of rank and maybe cheaper price. But nowadays i will think twice if want to buy it. My investment for now maybe will like when i see ETH, it is used by some projects and ETH needed to pay fee when we want to send our tokens. So, people will need ETH and buy it, and now some coins have same feature like what ETH used before.

There so much valuable coin out there, but which of those coins do you know to actually be valuable? Those has real use and long term value.
$4k is quite a lot of money, invest wisely. Buy the rumor, sell the news! But, Always do your own research.

Like I previously suggested, the potential of Binance coin should not be underestimated, the project is steadily developing to becoming a force in the industry. Their blockchain is been rapidly accepted by most new upcoming project and previous exiting projects are migrating to their blockchain.

Undoubtedly, the advantages of been on the binance blockchain has a lot to play to the rapid adoption of the blockchain then the actual user case of the blockchain but slowly Bsc is becoming a household name in the industry.

Investing in their native token won't be a bad investment decision considering the potential the coin holds, not forgetting its quarterly burning that asks as a catalyst to the growth of the price just as halving does to the bitcoin price.

Bitcoin is the safest investment but $4k isn't sufficient I think. I won't suggest you to buy but if I have $4k, I will invest on good altcoin like stc, mana, kin and so on. Hopefully within some years, I will be profited in huge amount.
You are totaly wrong. If you said bitcoin is safest investment, why would you still invest on other shitcoin? It's not about sufficient or not, but rather we want our money grow from time to time. Even if you only have 0.01 btc ,you already rich since not all people can have 0.01 btc later with current price. Instead of these shitcoin, why wouldn't you invest on BNB? biggest exchange site, has binance smart chain etc
