I would invest in Bitcoin. Why? Because i see it as the least risky coin to invest in.

Bitcoin is still the biggest cryptocurrency.

First of all considering the market situation at the moment, 2k usd is really nice amonth for investing.
I would prefer to stay a little bit in safe side in the beginning. I would devide it to 3 and choose ethereum, bnb and bitcoin for the beginning. and if the market starts to recover i would risk more investing in some more surprise altcoins.

if I were given at this time, I buy only Bitcoin for sure. IMO Bitcoin is the most suitable investement in this time
it is caused by many altcoin, even big coin, is going to down. no matter good coin is
that's what I do with my money, I also invest a lot in Bitcoin.

look at Bitcoin dominance, it shows us that Bitcoin is still king, where thousand coin and token cant beat the single coin.

I agree that invest all to Ripple is a good choice, but i would not do that after review the Ripple chart. Ripple need lots of months before grow strong in just 5-10 days and its will make holders become tired. If i do have 2000$, i would prefer invest into bitcoin because bitcoin is the main trend for all others coin. I'm surely that bitcoin is the leader when crypto market in uptrend and good profit is guarantee when invest in bitcoin for longterm.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
XRP may be a good choice in the short run given the fact that there is significant institutional use for it already, and the fact that it has a large market cap which means that the downside risks are relatively little compared to what you'd see with other coins.

However, honestly, it's not the best long term bet.

The best long term bet imo is still ETH, because it is more decentralized than XRP and has a lot of ICOs hosted on it.
XRP and ETH are still good for either a long-term or short-term investment. But believe me or not we can't expect XRP could give more profits as what we want to happen to know the fact that it is been controlled by somebody.

Cause for me, I'll keep more on Bitcoin rather than to choose any altcoins. I know it was a risk putting all eggs in one basket but I feel confident and safe with Bitcoin.

I will definitely never invest in alts again. I feel that the alts do not have the potential to grow as well as bitcoin. Their community is smaller than bitcoin and its effects on WW3 are also very low. so I just chose bitcoin and hold for a period of about 6 months until Halving. Even though $ 2,000 still can't buy half of bitcoin, I still want to hold it, because it will give me certain profits and I also believe that this halving event will make its price rise the most.

I will share it for LTC and ETH. Litecoin has halved and it makes the inventory reduced and of course just waiting for another update and the pump will occur. ethereum is currently bad but this is a good opportunity for us to have more. the market has shown improvement and of course, I don't want to be left behind by a train that is already ready to depart.

Anything smaller than $30k I think we can go pretty aggressive with about half of it in BTC and the rest in 2 or 3 more risky options.
50% BTC - obvious reasons, it's the biggest and most 'safe' of all
20% ETH - still big and very meaningful. most of dApps will be born on ETH network due to it's popularity and it's very experimential field that should grow for some more time.
20% BNB - my personal favorite. It is useful at the biggest exchange which is more of an actual case need for it than BTC presents.
10% something seasonal with the intention to get out quickly
good management where ETH and BTC are things later this year as well as ETH, for BNB it is very good for the long term I think the holders as well as following the IEO there

Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two coins I would invest heavily in right now. Ethereum has the new update coming and that should in theory push the price up a bit and Bitcoin had a really good year last year. The price should start moving up once the news starts publishing last years returns and people get excited about it again and invest. I think that's what's going to kick this bull run into full action more than anything.

Personally, I think at the moment for investing the best option is considered Ethereum and Bitcoin. Since these coins are always very promising. And you can also invest for long periods. And even if there will be more than $ 2,000, then all available funds will be invested in crypto coins. I believe that the crypto industry is a new way to great opportunities and to the development of innovative technologies.

I will hold 50% for USDT for scalping trade for daily living, and for the reset i will all in for BTC because who didn't feel btc will enter it's fire mode this year because of the halving news and we hope this thing none to be canceled and everything is going well.
I don't know for sure how many assets you have but for 50% into USDT it is good because USDT is one of the stable coins whose prices are very well maintained, for scalping trading is also good but I recommend daily trading for investment security

If I do have $2000 that is allotted for investment only, then I will choose Bitcoin and Ethereum only for now, I will secure it to stable coin first, once I do have profit already I will sell it and wait for the perfect moment again to buy and then I will little by little buy some altcoins that I know and I've researched to be profitable and worth it.

I will buy Doge instead. XRP can moon like no other token but times are different now, I would buy into a token with less sentiment and has large community support. I will add Bat to my bag as well not that I hate on XRP but XRP itself is quiet controversial.

Though XRP is a good coin to invest and hold for long term, the only coin I would buy right now will be Bitcoin. Because, with large volatility going on, it will be too risky to invest in any altcoin at this moment. Even ethereum is a good choice as there are many development updates coming soon.

I have seen thousands of topics like this. People always ask which altcoins to invest in this market with a certain amount of capital. So it is best to buy bitcoins in this market because all altcoins can become scams and die at any time. Investing in Bitcoin will be the safest for you and will definitely help you to profit in the future

I never really liked Ripple because it is Centralized in my opinion, when they distributed Ripple for example, The majority of coins where distributed in a closed circle around the founders..
And they have benefited or are benefiting massively from every increase in value.
They are also responsible for the rest of the distribution, So the creation is to Central for me.
It's the most unequal distributed crypto currency of all time, While crypto should be for everyone in my opinion.

Now what Crypto I would invest in:
Ethereum

Theta: Because I like streaming gaming en crypto and Theta brings this all togheter.

Bat: They have their own Browser where you can earn crypto in, they also have a build in ad blocker and the browser is actually good.

Eos: Fast transactions with no costs.

But you definitely should do your own research as well!

I will not choose ripple, i will choose bitcoin first time, because bitcoin never had accusations that was for ripple and is decentralized and also over time if calculate bitcoin give a lot of profit and will continue do it, and also is accepted as a a payment from a lot of merchants.
Yeah, as of now bitcoin still stays as the most promising coin there is on the market. It had already established its name on the cryptocurrency world which pretty much means that a lot of people investing or just mining will choose bitcoin without a second thought if they were to be given a chance. Anyway, if you're confident with choosing ripple then go for it. It's your money after all.
