So you split the dollar into two 50 cent bets? I'm not sure there are lottery tickets that are that low. Don't you think that this is not the best solution considering that the initial size of your daily deposit is too small? Even winning *1000 will actually be only $500.
By the way, in this sense the lottery is interesting because the multiplier for it can be astronomically large.

Of course, betting has more possibilities to win, so I will go for the parlay. But with such a budget it remains very unlikely to win whatever you choose. The only factor for me that can make the difference here and win $100k is pure luck. So, if you are lucky, whatever choice you make, you will win. Wink

It’s easy to get tempted by the idea of winning a million dollars with just $1, but realistically, the odds are stacked against us. In this case, you’re not really choosing between the two, and I’m sure no one’s seriously building their bankroll off a single $1 bet, right? This thread feels more like a fun “what-if” scenario since winning the lottery, or hitting lottery-like odds in sports betting is nearly impossible with such low chances.

But to stick to the topic, we need to pick a side and commit. If I were to follow your idea, I’d definitely make sure to have a decent bankroll first before starting any grind. But yeah, that’s probably a discussion for a completely different thread (if one exists).

Although $1 is not much, that will enough to play gambling. You mention a gambling game that we can choose to spend our time. But I agree with you that we can gambling for twice a week so we will have more budget to have fun. But buying ticket lottery can be another solution because we can buy it every day and hopes that we can be the winner someday.

We just only buy it daily and leave it and wait for the announcement. Who knows, we can win and hit the jackpot Grin

I never had such low budget but think that it doesn't matter where to put that buck as the chances to win are roughly equal in both cases. Lottery probably would leave me in the dark for a longer time than sport betting thus I would prefer "a high-odds sports betting parlay to be done with that quid-pro-quo ^{as $1 is not a sum to be worried about during either short or long period}.

There's these porn machines in the subway station, for a buck you can get just about damn near anything you want. Oh wait, different topic. I would put it on a shitcoin. Buying /Selling options contracts, something I did a little of when I had access to a Bloomberg terminal..that's straight up as Vegas style gambling gambling as it gets. Worst thing you can do is put it in a sratch off or some shit like that.

Probably horse racing, 1 dollar is nearly nothing, and in most cases that would not really give you anything good in return. With horse racing, you can throw in 1 dollar to an exacta and you could have a good return, sometimes as high as x10, but usually about x5 to x7 levels, those are the favorites. That would give you a week worth of gambling as well. Also, if I can compound them, wouldn't it make sense to wait for two months, have 60 bucks, and then start gambling? If you can do that, then you would be able to actually gamble properly and the return would be nice as well, at the very least, you could gamble a decent size bet here and there, which would be reasonable return too.

The two options are quite difficult to pick due to how complex and almost impossible they are to choose from. Winning a $100,000 with $1, which is over 100,000odds is even a worse scenario. I think I might want/prefer to go for the lottery game of a potential win of $1million. In as much as winning a lottery is almost an unrealistic scenario as well, it is more certain than the sports betting with a potential win of $100,000. Just to be clear, the both of them are quite unrealistic, but one seems to be more sure/certain than the other. So I will go for the lottery with a potential win of $100M.

And also, don't expect that you will hit big using this bankroll amount. More than likely, you will just use it for entertainment purposes just like what you said - slots or roulettes or other luck-based games where you can bet few cents and prolong your game before it gets busted.

Will bet that in high odds sports but I won't do a parlay. In single most bets that I do, I think that I'll be able to keep up with that amount if it's per day. I'll make some and lose some but in cumulative way, I think that I'll be able to at least grow that but not that much. If there is no goal in amount, that's much better because there's no pressure for me that I need to aim. All I have to do is to look for those games that I think I'm good at and mostly with esports and then place my money there and wait it out. There's even some gossip in esports that there are some games that are really sold out by the pros but they hardly caught because they know how to play it out.

Such a low budget suggests your time is best placed elsewhere actually earning more of a deposit to utilize the site properly. I would simply place the dollar on a 50/50 type bet where it could double out easily. Then your time is best used getting more cash, meanwhile while on the job you can dream of gambling strategies to come up, earn save and accumulate the next bet to place at the same time.

Some people put on multi bets which must all win to pay off, I've heard of some long shots working but that can take years to perfect and alot of skill really in knowing that sport etc.

I like sport betting, but in this situation I will prefer to go for the lottery, where one chance with luck of winning means I won't have to worry about the rest, which I have lost.

Sometimes I do feel like it's easier to win a lottery compared to how impossible it becomes to win a sport betting parlay where one tries to win an amount higher than 100 X of your wager amount. The higher the multiplier, the lesser the chance of winning.

Depends on how much time I have to kill also. If I let's say have an hour on the train every day where I'll be too distracted and crammed to do anything productive but also able to hold my phone it's a different story than having just 5 minutes...

In 5 minutes I'd just be able to log in to the bookie, review matches, maybe play a single multi-bet slip and go away.

In an hour I could keep betting on 1 cent bets with huge multi bet-slips, watching some of the matches in my slips, taking small bets on dice, crash games, mines... The bets there have very low limits so I could be spending all the time betting either until I lose everything or until I have enough money to withdraw in these rare occasions.
