Here’s the question: if you had a budget of $1 a day just for gambling, where would you put it? Would you go for a lottery game with a potential $1 million win, or a high-odds sports betting parlay where you could win $100,000? Which one would you pick?

If I have $1 per day to bet, I won't enter the lottery, because I'm not used to it. Lottery usually depends on luck and few people win, but in sportsbetting games I like the most and here experience and luck both help. So if I bet a dollar a day, of course I can bet on a huge amount of dollars by betting here every day, because I'm sure only experienced gamblers can win all these sportsbetting games.
Because it usually lies in the imagination but jackpots and lotteries are more uncertain. That's why I don't like lotteries and stupidity is the most common in it.

$1 a day is $30 a month on average, so I would probably wait a month to bet with that $30. If I couldn't, and I had to bet that $1 every day, I suppose I would switch between lottery, 5 spins of $0.20 slots, 1 spin of a roulette number betting $1, and so on.

$1 per day is not so bad, there are quite a few players who play once a week and spend no more than $10 on it, so it is not so far from reality. In general, the daily budget may be small, but you can save it for one bet once a week, in my opinion, this is a good idea. Or maybe I would try to make several smaller bets but with higher odds, and perhaps I would even be more comfortable playing more bets for a smaller amount than risking everything on one bet.

So, for the sake of simplicity, I would go for the lottery this time, even though sports betting is always my first choice. Sometimes, taking the easy route just makes more sense.  Cheesy
In this scenario, I would also pick lottery game because of the low cost in getting a ticket. The risk involved is very low compared to high odds sports betting that involves more understanding of the game and team involved.
I do not mind taking a chance too on lottery even though I know that my chances of winning big is very very slim.

In that case, I would play at least once a month if it is important to the player. Although, I did see people whose daily budget was slightly more than a dollar. I wonder if there are gambling addicts in these countries. In fact, one dollar can easily be thrown away on various trifles, but only for those people whose living wage does not suffer from it.

If one dollar is the only allowance for Gambling then I'll prefer lottery, doesn't take much time from our day and with the minimum amount there's no other options unless we save the dollar for 30 days and spend 30 in a day which seems reasonable but don't expect anything big to win from it, like a million or 100K, both are rare and doesn't happen in every one's life.

It depends on my mood, if it's only $1 a day of course I prefer to bet on sports while lottery opportunities are very difficult and need luck. In sports betting at least you can have a calculation of team strength that can make it easier to win the bet. Remember not to expect too much from $1 to reach a profit of $100,000, for me x10/20 is already a big win.

The possibility of winning a lottery is very slim. I know many old people who have been playing lotteries since they were young but have never won the big money. They keep hoping that they will win one day but I guess there is a big chance that they might not win until they die. I would prefer to put my little one dollar on sports bets because it is easier to win. I have won it several times and some people have also won big. Instead of waiting for decades to win a lottery let me keep winning small funds. I don't also think the lottery can give me the level of entertainment I derive from sports games. Lottery is solely luck-based but sports bet needs some level of skill which is fun.

Is this not an obvious choice?  Grin

I would bet on the sports match and potentially win more than I will ever win in any lottery game. Sometimes to me it seems like lottery games are just a myth because of how little or few people actually win significant amounts of money with it. Maybe if the prize were a little lower, there’s higher chances but $1 million?

If I continuously win 10x in a row with the sports match, I would have earned a million, no? Well that will be too hopeful but there’s my point. What will I even get if I continuously participate in a lottery game 10x in a row? Probably nothing.

The lottery prize should not even be upto $1 million and I will still choose the lottery game and continue to play it until my luck gives me the win. Using $1 to bet on sport, would not give you a big win. The wins might be constant but not something big that you can use to improve your life unless you are planning on going for an over promising odds that it is almost impossible to win like betting on Manchester city to get relegated. The $1 is coming everyday so I will continue to buy my lottery tickets and one day, it might just favour me. I know the odds of winning is very slim but that is what gambling is all about and if I do win, I will be set for life and would not have to worry about money again because with the money, I would make good choices in investing it

I have many ways to spend my $1 budget, but since you limit it to two options, I have to choose the lottery. This makes more sense, but it depends on the kind of lottery we are talking about. If it is the style of a Premier Lotto in my country, people are winning for real and there are at least 5 different games in a day and all their results would be known on that day. If the person is a good forecaster of the lottery, then the possibility of winning with that amount is higher than chasing an almost impossible quest of winning $100,000 with just $1.

With just $1 a day, I can buy a lottery game especially if the ticket price lower than $1. But maybe I can hold myself and will buy after some days so my funds can be bigger than just in a day.
Buying lottery ticket can gives a chance to win big or hit the jackpot but that will rely on our luck. That will be okay for me as I can just have fun with gambling and not chase the wins because that will difficult.
I still choose lottery than sports betting because I am not good in analyze the match to find the team. Maybe I can lose my control if I place a bet in sports betting so I choose lottery.

High odds sports betting for me, I wouldn't go on the outstanding odds of hitting the lotto. At least in sports betting, I will say that you will have a fair chance since you are going to used your skills in that certain sports.

And we have seen individuals already winning bet in football with great odds.

I still remember one reputable member here who have won a parlay of x100 years ago. So it's an easy answer as majority here could be sports betting fans as well and not really into lottery.

High-odd sports betting parlay. Easy pick for me.

I'm not a fan of lottery and although there's a chance for my $1 to become a million in it, the chances of it to happen is very low that for me, it's enough for me to avoid it. In making a parlay in sports betting, I believe the chances would be higher especially if you're lucky enough to pick the winners that you felt will win at that time. Although I didn't even see a x100,000 odd parlay, still I believe that it has a higher chance of me winning in it than in a lottery. Having an idea on the sports that you're betting with would be a big plus if you're into sports betting but in the end, there's no certainty in everything.

Realistically speaking, I know that this can happen, but what are the chances of us winning. Cheesy

Winning in lottery is based on blindfolded randomness which means literally on lucky base and not even some sorts of knowledgeable experiences could help you out of the victory and it got no fun but in gambling, some terms of experiences based on how you could analyze the teams "may" foster you to be privilege of winning but though, winning in sport bets is still also based on luck but some tons of knowledge could play possible chances of your winning.

So I would go for sports bets. Not going to chase the huge amount as that mentioned on the lottery neither being too greedy ot chasing so huge as that mentioned on the sport. Nevertheless, sports game is okay for me.

To be more realistic $1 betting on a parlay has a 2% to 4% chance of playing. The odds of winning the $100,000 with $1 is very low. In this case, ill rather bet on small odds gradually till I can gather a large amount from my wins. Betting on lottery tickets is the last thing I will think of doing. The casino will always win and there will be a lucky winner just a few times. It's not worth rising on, but since the $1 is kind of small to some gamblers, they might one to risk it there.

both are almost impossible to win but the parlay would be the better choice between the two, also, if we are not specifically trying to win $100k, you could lower the odds to increase the chance of winning. but if you ask me, I'd rather play casino games that have a very low minimum bet, if my budget for gambling is only $1 I might as well enjoy it with a game that I like.

Well, $1 is like nothing... I guess you can play the lottery every day for years, maybe you will win one day, maybe never. It's a lottery, some people play for decades without winning anything. Maybe once in a while, but to play the same thing every day for years is not my thing...

The option that suits me better is to swap $1 every day for some low-cost coin and play in-house games with really low stakes. If we choose a casino with nice auto-betting settings we can have a lot of fun trying to create the best strategy. This would be interesting but don't hope for some huge profits...

Sports betting is perhaps the best option for those who want to make some profit, or at least try to do so. Look for good picks through the week, focus on singles or max 2 games per bet... if you are patient, choose your matches carefully, and don't chase high odds with a bit of luck you might be able to make some profit.

If that amount is 1$ here in our country, he can only enter the lottery that we have here, and if he is really lucky, it can be 2 million dollars or more depending on whether it has been a long time since no one has won a winning jackpot.

But for gambling in another category, I just don't know if that's possible, I can't think of any other casino online that can bet such a 1$ bet.
Honestly speaking, I can only think about the lottery.

Well, there are some games I could play on casino using 1$ though. You will just have to risk lesser amounts per round.. for instance, the multiplier games, you can split that $1 I to 4 that's giving you 4 rounds to play the multiplayer games. For each round, you will only be risking $0.25 probably making less if you aren't lucky. If you are lucky, lucky and hold, you can double it to 0.5$ on a single round.. doing this before you lose the $1 in four rounds, you might be able to o get back at least $1 to continue playing...
