$1 is a small amount, but it's good considering a common advice people say about gambling that should be done with full limits, one of which is in terms of the amount to be bet, so regardless of what type of game you choose, whether it's sports or lottery, I think with a bet amount that small, it won't cause problems for your financial situation.

On the other hand, regardless of what type of game you choose and whatever the potential winnings, I think bringing $1 capital will be very profitable if in the end you win, or it can also be said that it is the safest capital in the sense that when you lose you will not experience problems or will not experience any pressure on your mental and psychological but when you win it will be very fun.

Here’s the question: if you had a budget of $1 a day just for gambling, where would you put it? Would you go for a lottery game with a potential $1 million win, or a high-odds sports betting parlay where you could win $100,000? Which one would you pick?

I would choose sports betting. You can play the lottery for a thousand years and not win anything. Betting on football matches allows you to win quite realistically. And you don't even have to bet on football. You can also bet on other sporting events in other sports. It's just that football is the most popular.

What kind of lottery pays out 1 million dollars for 1 dollar ticket? That would mean I could literally spend 100k and have a 10% chance to win. Lotteries are not like that, you get paid a lot more but you have a lot less chance as well. And sports with 1 dollar picks that pays out 100k is quite rare, probably unheard of as well, you would need to end up playing on very unlikely situations and 10+ of them in a row as well. Neither of those things make any sense at all. If you have just 1 dollar, that is a different situation versus having 1 dollar per day.

If you have 1 dollar per day, just save it up and gamble when it's more, because the possibilities you suggested are both not that possible and you are not going to make any money from either these ways at all. I would suggest figuring something else out and you would be doing much better results from both of them. This current options you are suggesting will not make you any money at all.

Indeed, successive losses isn't a good signs to continue betting in a game and I just hope that everybody who has this actions would eventually realize the negative impact on their finances. When it comes to being serious during the situation of the game play that made a person loss even small amount couldn't control themselves due to emotions. Hopefully they'll learn from that very big mistake in the long run and soon develop a strong conviction towards gambling management.
When you get losing streak, you must realize and consider that you really need to stop gambling immediately before your emotion becomes high. That can makes you can not thinks clear about what you will do next and many people will follow their minds to continue gambling. That will makes them lose more money than they can though and the worst is when that is often to happens, they can becomes addicted to gambling.

Controlling ourselves will be necessary in gambling because that is our key to prevents the big lose. If they can learn from their mistake when playing gambling, they may become wise in gambling and not trying to chase the wins.

I prefer splitting it and spending on ten bets. It can be on sports betting as well as on dice. I've got the understanding that gambling is never going to profit us, and to be more profitable, you need to be rich as well as need to have a good sum of money. Much luckier one's used to win big lotteries spending mere dollars, and I don't have the hope on it. For this reason, I prefer spending the small amount on sports that I'm familiar with. Anyhow, this plan looks nice, as it says one dollar a day, we'll be able to gamble and have fun.

In sports, there's no guarantee someone will earn too, but at least it you can see a progress whether you win or lose.

It is also possible for one to become better at predicting the result of matches through experience and in-depth analysis of the performance of each one of the teams one is interested in. On the other hand, one cannot get better at lottery in any way, shape or form, one is just supposed to continue to play as long as one is willing to and cross one's fingers one will be extremely lucky one day. That is one of the reasons I don't play lottery anymore, and neither within my family does.
Not even mentioning there are gamblers who do not have the amount of patience for them to play lottery daily and not seeing a single penny in return, in spite of all the money they have lost in an entire month.
Because of the ease of analysis of football games that is the reason why sport is the most popular gambling games within the market, and sport bets have increased the popularity of gambling houses that is the reason why most casinos includ sport betting section within their platform, because of the easy analysis and amount of volume in traffics since football has alit of fans based and several league's and tournaments.

Many newbie's got into gambling through sports bets and this sport bets us none other than football, we have a lot of premier league a d champions League fans and followers who have put the skills and level of analysis into practice by staking bets on various matches.

Definitely not lottery. Yes, the price may worth a million but the chances to hit it is very slim. I prefer to play in sports betting instead. I am a fan of sports particularly basketball so I know how to increase my chance here of getting a profit. But still, it doesn’t guarantee all time winning but at least I did enjoy my $1 budget by not losing it instantly in just a single game. If I can grow my money, much better. But if I lose it, still it won’t bother me at all.

I will not go into any game without doing any pre-analysis because it's like a make it or break it situation. With these type of situations, I think this makes every person put their best.
This makes more sense, especially with serious analysis and also habits or based on experience, then it will have higher chances if done continuously. Moreover, the budget is also measurable, so we can manage the limited budget as best as possible and try not to be greedy by adding excessive budget when betting.
What others think is they will just go and bet with that with the highest odds because that's just a buck.

But for others that still give value to that buck, we will have to do everything what it takes so that at least we have fought for it until the last seconds of that dollar.

Because the main goal is to grow that even in the slightest form that we can and with any effort that we can exert so, that's how you do effort at least.

There is nothing to get better in lottery, it doesn't need a skill unlike sport which your $1 may actually turn into a huge amount if one can predict winners. Either a person with $1 can parlay or gradually win small amount until accumulated more $.

It just need patience though which a lot of gamblers may not have. If I have just $1 a day I would use the multi bet on sports I'm familiar with such as NBA or MMA.

Even if it is possible, how many matches should be included on the parlay bets and this must be like a parlay that contains of bets where we choose all the underdog teams to make the 100,000x happens.
What do you mean choose 'em underdog teams?? That's like not wagering at all... How many of those teams would defeat against a big team and what's the probability of that happening say, in 5 different underdog teams? How many of them would round off the total odds to a $100,000 -- let's say, the average of all odds in parley play is about 4.67?...

I guess you need to re-read my post again as myself questioning about the case on how to make a parlay bet with 100,000x odds.
And my own guess is by betting on all underdog teams that can make it possible to have 100,000x because it wont possible to bet on favorite teams in order to get 100,000x.
Even if it is possible to get 100,000x by betting on favorite teams, how many selections are needed to make 100,000x?

With this fact, I would prefer to bet on lottery because it is easier to bet as I dont need to do analysis of many matches to make huge odds for the parlay bet.
Again, this ain't even about running away from some analysis like you may have it, how do you also hit $1 million on lottery with $1 per stake? I mean, 1 in a hundred million, that may never happen...

Come on, this thread is created and we have to choose between 2 specific option, it does not matter how it is possible to win $1m with $1 bet.
Both options are hard to happen, but the question is simple which one you choose, so which one do you prefer?

In that case of $1 per day, most probably I'd spent it all in glance if there's no chance of winning because for instant that amount was really small compared with other gamblers who has huge chances of winning. Despite of the higher odds, we still has no guarantee or assurance of winning such big amount and for me that's really a miracle for us who played out of nowhere.
Using all the money to gambling is okay as that is small money that we allocate daily so if we lose that money, that is not a big lose. Maybe we have a chance to win but we don't takes seriously when we lose so we will be okay with anything that can happen. If we can win using that small money, that will be good for us because we can save the wins money to other things or we can increase our bet in the next time we gamble. But we must be aware not to deposit more money if we lose all the money because that can increase our losses.

Indeed, successive losses isn't a good signs to continue betting in a game and I just hope that everybody who has this actions would eventually realize the negative impact on their finances. Op if I have the amount you mentioned set aside for my daily gambling activity, I wouldn't chose any of those you mentioned because achieving them is highly unrealistic because of the high risk involved in such games, I rather select few matches in soccer and bet it with the said amount, if I chose 20 odd or lesser and bet it with such amount, if I scale through then I can covert it to my currency it will be better for me than to risk it in those bet that are highly impossible unless when luck calls.

Anyone that has a budget for gambling, should be considering many things, for a gambler who has a budget I think it shouldn't be to waste money in gambling session, though Gambling itself is not easy because of the fact that the outcome is unknown, I think this should be the reason why a gambler with such budget though the amount is small but be it as it may if you acumulate the amount it will become much but it will be wisele to bet on few odds with the amount then accumulate it to an extent before withdrawing it instead of betting on games that won't come thereby losing the budgeted amount everyday, i think such action isn't wise.

I do agree with you that bigger reward means has very little chances of winning. But i think it's very nonsense hoping to win a bigger reward like that, even if we have budget $100 per day, it's still difficult to get the reward. So what i meant was, it's better if we should multiply the budget first, then we could use the rest for parlay or lottery. Because i think it's easier to multiply the budget 2x or 3x.
Gamble on lottery means you don't mind to wait for more than 10 years to win. Cheesy

I don't have such patience, imagine you spend $1 to buy one lottery ticket everyday, if you've doing it for few months and you looking back what you've done, you might feel you've doing nothing until now.

In sports, there's no guarantee someone will earn too, but at least it you can see a progress whether you win or lose.

Of course, budgeting a $1 dollar amount every day will definitely be a great advantage because if you lose a bet with this small amount, you will lose only $1 dollar, but if you budget a large amount, the loss amount will be much more.
If I budget a dollar amount, I must allocate that dollar to the lottery to win the jackpot. And if I budgeted at one dollar a week, then out of seven days I would be playing the lottery three days and sports betting the other four days.

That perplexing choice for me. I'm going to simplify it by split to 50:50 like above. $0.5 for the lottery game, and $0.5 for sports betting  Grin Yes, the results may not be optimal when compared to $1 bet. But, If it makes you happy without the burden of having to big win there is no harm to try. And it could be train to be patience to do not greedy to big winning.
That’s a great idea as you don’t have to choose between the two, and you can enjoy both....

For sports betting, some sportsbooks do allow a minimum stake as low as $0.10, so your strategy works perfectly in those cases.

But for my sportsbook, the minimum is $1--- lol. So yeah, this approach of yours wouldn’t really work for me. I guess I’ll just have to stick to fewer bets or adjust my strategy. Still, it’s a good way to play smart while spreading out your chances.

Yes, if you calculate $1 per day and that money has to be spent on gambling, of course my choice is lottery gambling, where a lottery with $1 can be paid higher than other games, what's more, the lottery reaching number 4 is an extraordinary thing.

We understand that if you play $1 in a slot game, you can only play it once, as well as sports betting, you can only place one bet, poker is the same, unless you save the money for 10 days first, maybe you can play several times in other games, if you think there is no other choice but the lottery is the only game that can be used with $1.

Of course, I would play the lottery with a chance to win $1,000,000.

As a child and teenager, I loved reading Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. The main character of this novel, the one-legged pirate John Silver, was a talented financier.

He was involved in three types of financial operations.
First, he opened his own small business - the Spyglass Inn in a large English port city.
Second, he invested money in commercial banks at high interest rates.
Third, he was involved in risky operations, such as pirate raids and the search for the pirate Flint's treasure. This promised the possibility of hitting the jackpot (but with a small probability).

When creating your financial strategy, you should definitely include financial adventures with a potentially huge win. The lottery is quite suitable here. $1,000,000 is a very attractive financial goal.

You make it sound it sound too easy to win a lottery or win that much money in sports betting with that little amount. Cheesy
Well for me, if I have let’s say a daily gambling budget of $1, I’d rather prefer to go with sports betting than getting a lottery ticket. I’ve really not participated fully in lotteries, and that’s because I really do not believe I can get that lucky to win over $1,000,000, so I only go for the one I feel I’ve got bigger chances of victory. Yeah, at least I think predicting sports events has way better chances of success.
