My friend advised me to sell my coin today. I know he is for my sake, but how to explain to him?

But why? Why would you listen to your friend? Does he own your bitcoins? Did he gave you money to invest on your bitcoin venture? If you know better, you wouldn't listen to your friend and just hold for a little more longer. I would listen to him now becauae of the huge dip of bitcoin prices.

all the time my family says that I should sell but as a matter of fact its my decision and I just say them that I know something more than you in this field so bring me the factors why should I sell and we agree.

You're right. Even if how many times they will tell you to sell it, if you really don't like to sell it there's nothing they can do from it. Actually, selling your coins now is not the best choice for now because you might have less profit. So it is better if you will keep it longer so you will gain more because the price of bitcoin might get higher and higher in the future, right? Because in my case, my boyfriend keeps on telling me to stop investing bitcoin but I just keep on ignoring his advice to me.

It's upon to you to decide what to do with your Bitcoins, you don't even need to explain anything to others about why you are or aren't selling your Bitcoins. The chances are good on long term for Bitcoin price, and all those looking for prosperity on long term instead of wasting money on ephemeral things on the present time should be very aware about it.

If you think he is right then sell your coins. But I think you should teach him about bitcoin. Bitcoin is rising again, This is not selling time. Just HODL your bitcoin. Tell him that you will be gonna make huge money if you hold now. Good Luck.

Anarchy is not chaos.
My friend advised me to sell my coin today. I know he is for my sake, but how to explain to him?

Advice, if you only pay time for it, is worth at least that. You still have to filter it. The title of the post though... My friends and loved ones can advise all they want, but I and I alone hold the private keys. They can neither let nor prevent me from doing just exactly as I please with my bitcoin.

FWIW, I both sell AND HODL, and buy. I am slowly but steadily trying to increase my fortune. Frankly, straight up HODLING was never a good bet, in my opinion. Whatever your assets are, make them work for you. That involves movement, and marketing.

This is your investment, you listen people who are experienced in this market but before you act you should consider it twice, study the numbers, charts, forums then you get your idea to sell hold buy. Not only by the saying of your friend.

It is your money and no one has right to tell you what to do with your money.
Why do you share your financial situation with your friends?
You shouldn't do that.
People are jealous no matter how good friends you are. Don't listen to anyone do what you want to do and sell when you want to sell.

I believe consult more over to your family also so that you can decide whether you gain from it, or you may decide for your own as you already grown up and that's your money and I believe it's better to hold your bitcoin for now and be patience to wait until the price of bitcoin will increase again.

Well all I can say is that you should tell your friend that this is not the right time to sell your coins because the price doesn't meet your standard profit or else you're gonna tell your friend that you will hold your coins for future use.

It's my bitcoin I will decide what I will do. If my friend tells me to sell my bitcoin I will kick his ass because it's my bitcoin. And I have right to hold or sell. And I will not sell bitcoin if they told me.Because I know that bitcoin is my future...

When it happens to me, the strategy is to sell some of the bitcoin available for emergency purposes. However, we must keep some of the bitcoin available as our assets and sell them again when the price has gone up.

I still will not sell my bitcoin if the bitcoin price is down dractically, but if the bitcoin price goes up high then I'll sell my bitcoin.

Just tell your friend that you see prospects in bitcoins and are sure that strong growth is yet to come.

Discussing with your friends about bitcoin is good for you. But you shouldn't listen to them totally. You may be misdirected by some of them. You should talk to them and make your decision by yourself.

If you did not make the investment in these coins together (you both have a share), that does not matter. Just tell him that this investment is yours and now is not the time to sell.  Smiley BTC

My friend advised me to sell my coin today. I know he is for my sake, but how to explain to him?
Don't listen to your friend, it's your bitcoin, decision to sell or hold should be yours. now i too constantly get "advice" from my brother to sell my coins, he says bitcoin will crash lol, i just ignore him. it's my bitcoin and i don't want to sell it now, i'll sell when price of one bitcoin will be $50k+.
I agree, that if someone give you some advice's like this that are told you that you sell your bitcoin, don't follow them. Instead tell them that holding is better than to sell our btc, because the more patience you give the more profit that you earn. Don't be hurry, just wait for the price is high. You are the one who decide to your btc, not all advice's is right you should think well carefully.
