They are jealous that you have bitcoin and they don't.

They advise you to sell now as it is already painful for them to see you earn thousands of dollars and they can't handle you becoming a millionaire when they were to coward to invest.

Don't listen to your friend, it's your bitcoin, decision to sell or hold should be yours. now i too constantly get "advice" from my brother to sell my coins, he says bitcoin will crash lol, i just ignore him. it's my bitcoin and i don't want to sell it now, i'll sell when price of one bitcoin will be $50k+.

I think it depends on the conditions. if the condition is very important and urgent, especially for our loved ones. you better sell bitcoin.
you must be able to distinguish between needs and wants. i hope you dont you sell your bitcoin, if only for the desire of the person you love. but if for something important and urgent need, maybe you can consider again.

You should tell them this is your coin, and then tell them the principles and values of bitcoin, maybe so they will also be drawn into bitcoin's world. Of course, their starting point is for you, but we can not approve it.

Well, that's your bitcoin, not his. If you choose to sell, do it because YOU want to, not because somebody told you so. But if your friend has a longer period into crypto take into consideration his advice, maybe he knows something

You still do not sell your bitcoin, although your friend is a good reminder, but most likely your friend is a layman, he easily misled, you have to decide for yourself.

Well it’s upto you really, not your friends or neither us the community members. Because for me bitcoin is the magic wand and for now it’s getting charged to get us best magical feel over the period of time. We never know when the bitcoin will pop again but it is for sure that it will go up someday. If you are feared and your friends are feared that bitcoin might not do well, then this will obviously result in an noxious feeling about the bitcoin and nothing else. So better read about it over the speculation section and you will see how the community is taking everything here positively. I think you should hold but final decision is yours.

In my opinion, you should first consider some suggestions from your friends or peers regarding your plan and come up with your own decision whether or not you will continue to sell or hold your bitcoins. If I will be the one in your situation, I'd rather hold it first since there is a big possibility that price may increase further and you might regret it later.

OP if you going to sell not you will regret that and if he/she is real friend i think if you explain it i know he/she will understand because in no time btc price will be so high i'm sure about it actually there's nothing to worry about btc price because we need this in life so it will not be gone in the future and it will continue to grow or go low,i think also if we have government that going to regulate digital currency the price in the future can be stable so don't think too much about the price.

I can relate to what your friend is saying in fact on my part, my dad wants me to sell my bitcoin because he said he saw them in the news and read them that bitcoin is dropping. Then I explained to him that I am investing them for long term so there are times the price fluctuates and drops down then increases its price a few days after.

Do not listen to those friends. If I have listened to my friends, I would have sold all my bitcoins by now, because they want me to sell my bitcoins, every time when the price hits record high prices. Group pressure can make things very awkward for you, when everyone is telling you to sell.

The weird thing is, in most instances, none of these people are invested in Bitcoin themselves and they are the ones with the biggest mouths. ^lol^

And what do you care about them? And why your friends know that you own some bitcoin? i guess that you own less than 0.05 or so, otherwise, you wouldn't have told them that you own some...

But anyway, do not be so dumb, do not sell anything because this situation can clearly change in a few months from now. Just do not be so anxius.

everything will be fine, and you will see that the price will clearly go up in just a few weeks or days from now. It is just matter of time.

My friend advised me to sell my coin today. I know he is for my sake, but how to explain to him?

"It's my Bitcoin, and I choose to hold it. I don't feel like selling."

What more is there to say than that? Why does your friend feel that they have the right to tell you what to do with your property? Huh

I don't know about you, but when people ask me about how much bitcoin I own, or when I plan on selling them, or anything personal related to my crypto portfolio, I start asking them about how much money they have in their bank account. How much they have saved up in their 401k's. They usually take the hint after that, but if they keep pressing the issue, I tell them to mind their own fucking business. You should learn to do the same.

You have to make decision based on your own study because in the first place you should know more compare to them. No one can tell what I'm supposed to do because every decision I made is backed by my hard work. People should learn more about controlling their own emotion, so you cannot loose money in the future.

You may start to check first the status of bitcoin current market price value if it is worth selling it right now. I think that we should also understand the movement of the current market though result may seem on a slight downward trend but that is not the end of it and it will soon regain its price value soon.Listen to your instinct if you will push through with your decision.
