It's good that you have decided to invest into altcoins when they are cheap but do make sure you invest in cryptocurrencies that have the potential of rising when bitcoin rises and not some shit coin that has no use case in the cryptospace. Investing into such coins would surely be to a detrimental loss.

A lot of people are saying that altcoins are undervalued and we should invest in them. I don't agree with this argument. Look at altcoins such as Bitsend and Terracoin. Both have lost more than 90% of their value during the last 12-13 months. But I don't consider them under-valued even at current levels. Because I don't see any future for these coins. There is nothing special about them, and we have hundreds of similar coins currently in the market.

I prefer to invest in altcoins compared to bitcoin, it can be said to be late if the bitcoin invest because the price increase is difficult to occur, in contrast to altcoins which can rise up to hundreds of percent.

You should have waited for atleast month or so before investing because if done for sure you are in profit now because the value recovers from the February bottom.in december the prices is too high compared when the bottom happened.
But if you are lucky and the speculations will happen then the $10k target wil bring you profit by end year hope you can afford to handle for atleast half year from now

If history is any indication, the alts will outperform bitcoin during bull markets, but they also will find harder during bear markets or corrections. The problem with alts is there are too many questionable ones and funding is now an issue for many. I personally like the higher-ranked alts with a strong brand name, solid development team, ample funding, and unique or special use cases.

You've mentioned all of the altcoins that are most popular now but I don't know if those are the best you can choose right now since they are kind of stable now and their price moves along with bitcoin price so instead of buying them better buy bitcoin. I would recommend to move your attention to altcoins that have a lower price and a good project behind because those have the possibility to rise more on faster pace.

We can buy now and sell later, that if you also believe the altcoins of your choice has already dip.
