Can someone do well here without having good knowledge on cryptocurrency?
Depending on what you mean by "do well". However, keep in mind that everybody (excepting Satoshi) has started here without Bitcoin knowledge.
Can I post in non crypto related thread and still do well here?
There are various non-Bitcoin areas here, some may be of interest for you. Spend some time researching the various areas of the forum, it's big.
Just, you again come with that "do well". Do you plan to learn, discuss, help others, or you want to .. I don't know, "do well"...?
If I'm ready to learn from people's ideas and write-up here, can I hope on this site since it's all about cryptocurrency stuffs.

I have few ideas on trading stock but I don't know if it's some how related to crypto market cos I can't just wait to explore this site. The rules are somehow confusing but I'll try and go through it again.
While TA is similar, many other things - news, dynamics, FUD, and why not pumps and dumps - may be different from stocks. Keep in mind that this is more volatile and less regulated market.
So the ideas may or may not work to be adapted.
However, start by reading and adjusting. And ask clear/punctual questions.
