OP has been inactive for a week and a half already. It doesn't seem like s/he will be back anytime soon. I would just report this thread to be locked, since this is an old thread back in November and wasn't locked by the OP yet since.

By now OP am sure you had checked almost all if not all the suggested links provided to you, and am sure they had informations you needed, I will like to come in with how I prefer to learn, I believe curiousity is part of learn and op if you are curious you would even explore beyond the suggestion you were given, check out every board, post, thread that interest you, (remember don't post until you understand something) and any where you need assistance you can ask questions on that, and use that in addition to what you had found to make up a knowledgeable foundation for yourself, welcome to the forum.

Already so many thread links were shared that are intended for newbies, so I won't go for that. IMO the best way one can get familiar with this platform is by spending time here and reading threads. Since too much info is shared here, one need to segregate quality info with span. You can do so by checking ranks of members.  There are so many scammers around here, one need to be very careful about that aspect.

I think OP should read the sticky on this board first then proceed to read the suggestions above. Plus, a quick search on the top-right of your screen for any topic that you want to know because most questions here just like yours, has been asked a lot of times. Then you can slowly explore each boards that you see on this forum.

Try to be patient when reading everything because it takes time to learn if you just want to know about Bitcoin and crypto currency. I think the search button here is enough if you want to know something about crypto but if this is not enough then Google is your second choice.

And welcome to the forum. Wink

I when I see these types of posts, I don't have much hope for the OP. I don't want to discourage him either, just to say that if he wants to make good use of this forum, what he needs to have is a little more initiative, and not expect others to give him everything on a platter.

Otherwise, the above advice is good.

You are welcome. The first thing that i did when I joined Bitcointalk was to make sure  I read a piece of information about Bitcoin everyday.
I made sure I make research about it almost every second.
I asked questions to get experience  and to know more things about bitcoin.
So if you want to know more about Bitcoin, you must be able to make personal research, read informations about it,and be very consistent in the forum.

Found this response to newbie's inquiry. A lot to grasp here, visit all links and surely you'll slowly adopt what should do here. Welcome mate. Credits to @Shamm!

Oh my God! Whenever I see the full citation of this post and I receive a notification in the telegram, I start to have an allergy.
The funny thing is, this post seems to go viral. There has been a lot of talk about Shamm's behavior, in that he regularly copies it in its entirety.

Now I saw it from you. With the fact that Shamm, finally, correctly suggests his post.
Why can't you just add a link to this post?
Or is it really viral?  Shocked Shocked Shocked
