Yup I fully agree with you. I am panic holding as well because I am scared to sell too early and get screwed by accepting a much lower price than what the potential price may be down the road. Plus I have invested in Bitcoin what I can afford to lose so no panic selling for me and I will wait to the very end before unloading the stash  Wink
It is nice to see that there are a lot of people have the patience to wait such a long time so they can some money with it and that is nice.
But some people are selling it too early and that is bad because they can earn more money later.

Different people have different goals in their mind, if someone  who had bought at $220 price would prefer to  sell some of his coins at current price as he is earning good profit from it.

thats why the coin is stable for these days and months if everybody is going to hold their coins it wont bring a bright future for the price of the bitcoin that is what i know about it. But if you just want to hold them im not going to stop you off course but think about it. what if everyone is holding their gold it wont be able to reach others?

Yeah you should only sell when you are earning some profits from it, even if the price drops you need to hold it longer for price rise and sell when the right time comes.

But if you want to earn more you will wait for the halving to come before selling your bitcoins today, but of course there are circumstances that when an emergency happens you will be forced to sell it.

If you really need money its of course logical to sell some bitcoins but if you do not have this problems, I do not see the point of selling on this moment.
Selling is just very bad on these days before the halving.

Yeah it is really a bad thing if you are going to sell it today just endure it and wait for the near halving because it will surely make you a profit from it. And you will miss it if you sell your coins today.
That means you don't want to get some profit before it.

Everyone wants to earn profits from bitcoin, but if you need money desperately and bitcoin is the only way, then you have to sell it, as you can always earn or buy in future.
That is true, but the fact is that if you buy it right now you can make a lot more money than if you buy it in the future.
If you buy it in the future it will be a lot more money to buy.

If you want to invest your money in bitcoin then you should invest it now, as in future price would be more higher so you will need big capital to invest.

yeah that is the only way if you are desperate with money even though you don't want to sell it you will be forced to sell it at least you have used bitcoin for your own purpose and other helpful purpose.
You can earn it again and wait for it again and invest for the coming halving.

If you don't want to sell your coins then why are you earning it or buying it, everyone here is buying or earning only to make good profits from it.
OP was talking about exist time. he doesn't mean thet he'll not sell his coins in future also.
but now I think OP can sell his bitcoin. or may be wait for halving. in halving you sell your bitcoin and get double amount of profit.

You mean to say that price of bitcoin would be around $900 at the time of halving? I don't think that is possible, price would be around $600, so if you have bought at $250 in the past then you can double your profits.
There still possibility that the price will be double but i'm not sure because i'm not a fortune teller to know it..
I just relaying at the block halving if you understand what is halving you will know it.
For me if block halving is done the block rewards will be half so as of now block reward still 25 btc so if you half the reward it will 12.5 so the price should be rise to double..

It depends on at what price you actually bought your coins, if you bought at lower price then you should not hesitate in selling at current price if you are earning profits from it.

Exactly. Don't be greed too much waiting for that high price because ometimes holding too much will just result for a big loss. Once you make profits don't hesitate to sold it depends on the current price trend and rally.

Yes I recently sold majority of my coins as it was giving me almost double profits on my investments, so I preferred to sell it and make profits from it.
I too had to sell my coins last month because I was in need of some cash.As now I see prices going up,I repent my decision to sell them.I think one should sell after halving if prices reach above $1000

If you don't have a bank account then this is good enough for you. I didn't have a bank account before and I'm kicking myself because I had no clue that I could've opened a wallet and earned my first bitcoin so if you don't have a bank account then bitcoin is a good alternative to use because you can be you're own bank.

No it is not smart to not sell any coin, if you want to make many you have to sell some unless you only want to gamble with them. Most people wait for the future to sell there coins but I like to sell some in the mean time.

agreed!!! selling some coins at the moment even halving is not there yet is not a bad
idea. but holding it for the halving is a great idea having more income is much better
but what you need is patience and i dont have a lot of that.

Its just a matter of 2 months now, we need to have patience so that we can earn good amount of profits by selling at the time of halving.

Yeah if its allowing you to earn some profits then you should sell it without waiting for future, as if price falls in future then you need to wait longer time to see higher price.
