I think poptok1 and bryant.coleman already answered this: it's a convenience. If possible, I want to add more different altcoin airdrops to this thread in the future too, so there's another incentive.
I know some people (especially those with bigger balances) went on their own after reading this thread. I never made a secret out of this possibility.
For me, it was a bit more work than I anticipated, especially keeping track of who-owns-what and triple checking the payments before sending them, but it has been worth my effort.For me it was convenience, definitely this. You know, there is sometimes to many passwords...
