I agree, but with a note that the altcoin we buy is not when the price of the altcoin is at ATH because if we buy altcoins at ATH and even though we hold it long term it doesn't seem like it will get high profits especially if the ATH is the highest moment of the token then that's what we should avoid it because if we want to hold altcoins it is better to buy it when the price is cheap if for the long term.
Each holder will definitely have their own interests, but the true holder will definitely be stronger to plant crypto in a long time. So if we want to cuan, have to save coins for a long time. If you agree or disagree, please give me good feedback. thanks
Statistically speaking, it will. As long as you have the right alts in your portfolio and a good team behind the project. As you can see, almost all of the legitimate alts pumps when bull market comes added by right advertisements and developments. Years of holding will surely pay you with big cash. 
Most of the time October ,November, December in every year is mostly a green month for market its mean that in these three month most of altscoin and bitcoin are in bullish mode and make new all time high so that the reason if you hold these alts for these 3 months then definitely you will get too much than your expectations

if it's coins like bitcoin, ethereum, BNB, XRP, and popular coins it's obvious the development and adoption rate is huge. You can be sure that the coin you hold will pump.
however, holding back and believing is not the key to it. the important key is to keep doing research, and also find out continuously about the coins you hold. it will make you wise in holding back, and making decisions in the future. not move based on the trend.
I was once a holder for three years and most coins I held are dead and forgotten, the advice that we are supposed to share is know the coins you plan to hold for years, do not hold weak coins and the best time to build portfolio for long term is in bear market, bear market will reveal which coin is strong and which one is weak
I have about the same experience. Almost all of my tokens that I have been holding since 2017 are now dead. Even the latest tokens, which have held up well in price, are now worth little after the May drop. It looks like you need to sell them at the earliest opportunity as soon as their price becomes acceptable. An exception is made for individual projects, which still grow in price. But it is very difficult to determine in advance which of the projects will develop. They all shout that their project is the best, but over time, their tokens are slowly fading in value.

Still can’t understand why these guys shill all sorts of shitcoins related to the dogs/frogs/kwoks, but at the same time they ignore the current problems and how other projects solve them? I think BlockX is very underestimated in this regard. Check it out.
the reason is obvious, because they realize that being in shitcoins is just a waste of time.For people who really dare to take risks, of course it is very doable. but for people who want to play safely and the risk is minimized, it's better not to play in things like shitcoin.
they have no clear origin and only do fomo and pump and dump so what should we do? they will never look good
But for those who didn't get lucky enough, well atleast they've learned from this mistakes but the money they've lost is too precious enough.
Personally, I took the road with less risk and bound to more profits than to test my luck with those memecoins/shitcoins.
Yes i agree with You but you need to hold valuable and good coin then you can get much more profit. I Think good coin price will rise. You should pick up topper coin and token.Altcoin price increase much more this year and I Think Altcoin will be more increase in future.

No doubt man. We see a high returns these past few years and could possibly continue in the next years to come. As long term holder, minor dumps aren't alarming and all I want to see is the developments. Prices for short term isn't important. 2-3 years of holding would give much return.

It's a good strategy for the best coins to hold. But if you're doing that and you're holding an altcoin that you're not even sure what's with it in the future then it's a waste of time.

Here I think it is my own choice it depends on the research but for me I prefer to keep it fat now I have not kept fat for a long time from a bird tree which was a warm walk to me when I came back months after months Lost

I seem to be very worried about holding my altcoins longer, indeed every coin has its own price, but to hold it longer I think the risk is very high, unless the coins you hold in BNB and ETH, they are good coins. 
In my opinion, that will possible. Not all but there are some altcoins which could always bring profit for you for long hold. Sometime those might be dump unexpectedly but those will have always recover. Thats why those are most investmented top coins. The fact is, when people invest on some random project without knowledge so that those could be on moon & makes them rich overnight! But those things makes their assets dump anyhow, even most of the time.
I know of a project that in 2017 was very famous, it gave enough money to those who started it, but because they did not know how to handle things well they ended up in a fight with their investors and the devs treating their clients badly, this caused their currency to be in 20USD ended in less than 1USD, something that was always thought that they were going to raise it, this is the time and still nothing that rises, this type of projects and coins are for me the ones that have been buried and that will never be able to resurface, other than others currencies if they can continue to rise, but they are currencies that already have another type of growth and reputation, not all currencies will rise in an eventual bullish trend of the altcoins, or season of altcoins.
Of course they will pump if we hold long, the only problem is that how long are we going to hold the coin before the pump since we are not really when the coin will pump and most of us losses their mind if we hold a coin and didn't do much in the past months or if it crash in the following months. So holding coin for too long is really a challenge and it will really test your patience and your faith on that altcoin.
If altcoins are already ranked in the top 100 coinmarketcap, then if we hold them for the long term, there will be big profits, it is too risky to hold altcoins which are still small in marketcap because usually devs. prefer to leave the project by selling all the coins to the market and they immediately create a new project again.
