How many posts do I have to make to get to jr. Member? I'm assuming activity and posts are not 1:1
Due to abuse, newbie-posted embedded images are now disabled on these pages:
- Topic display
- Recent posts / patrol
- Previews
They're not currently hidden in PMs or on some other pages (like a user's "show posts" page), though I might change that later if it seems necessary.
Disabled images get transformed into links automatically. When the poster becomes a Jr member, the images that he tried to post previously will automatically be re-enabled (though there might be a few minutes of delay).
This extends to all past posts as well as future ones.

When your activity is 30 or higher.

If you have to post it, then yes. As soon as you become a junior member the images that you have previously posted will be shown.

This is probably generally a good policy.
Newbies need more restrictions i think. I know most people here are experienced dudes but it is frustating when you see newbies crying for a loan without collateral.
May have been good to give some warning. There are ANNs using accounts created just for managing the thread, like this one, that will now need to make Jr quickly just so the ANN displays correctly again.

I have never seen this NSFW/gay porn pics anywhere yet.. (I am the Marketplace-Meta-Off-topic kind of user
) where are these threads that is abusing this privilege located?(Just curious)

I think it's the biggest (in page & post count) thread on the forum. There was a poster called NotLambChop who was a Hero Member I think. He/she used to relentlessly troll with pics mocking bitcoiners, he/she used memes laughing at falling prices, chinese war sort of memes, he/she used to quote loads of FUD & find negative articles about bitcoin all over the internet.
He/she got banned & returned with literally hundreds of alts & sock puppets, it got worse then though. He/she keeps getting every account banned. He/she not that long ago started calling bitcoiners pedophiles & then posted loads & loads of gay porn, sometimes really old men lol.
It was very graphic tbh. Any way that's why theymos has stopped newbies being able to upload photos to the forum. NotLambChop is always around with new accounts spreading FUD & trolling people, the only difference is now his/her main weapon is gone (pics, memes, porn).

As I was explaining earlier in the thread, pretty sure that guy isn't the reason for this. That guy is a little nuissance, but nuking his accounts takes a couple of seconds.

at the speculation section, mostly. you could find them all the time if you go there frequently or if you're using the patrol page.

you see that thread titled "THE LIST" in this section? well, 90% of the users on the list does that. they're (most of them, anyway) just one person's sockpuppets.

no. they need to wait until they have reached 30 activity. I think you're confusing newbies for brand new members.
