Drinking alcohol can be good for your health, but it can be harmful too. It depends on how much you drink, your age, and other factors. Alcohol's impact on our body starts from the moment we take our first sip to it. Alcohol can change your typical behaviors and leave you without the mental clarity to make smart decisions.

Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?

I suggest You to drink alcohol rarely, like 1 time each 3 month (or as long as you can prove not drink it). Do not drink alcohol be your habitual activity because drink much alcohol can harm to your body. Maybe the effect for drinking alcohol haven't been felt now, but the effect of alcohol will appear to your body (for the every human they have different situation when the effect of alcohol appear damage their body). It is better not to drink to avoid your problem. Sometimes people drink alcohol can disappear their problem, after drink alcohol they can forget the problem for a while. But i think it's not a best way, because every problem that we have (eventhough this is small problem) must faced and solved.
The effect of drinking alcohol can seen and felt by our body. For our brain, alcohol can make hallucination and slow down thingking/ blank memories. A drunker can't control his/her emotion, so most of drunker have bad temprament and like do violence (even can be a murder). Drinking alcohol can make us attacked by cancer, high blood pressure, cirrhosis (or another liver disease), drop down our immunity. And drunk can effect someone do free sex with people that he/she don't know and maybe can cause HIV AIDS or sexually transmitted disease.
Drink alcohol have more disadvantages rather than advantages, so the best thing is you must avoid drink alcohol  Smiley

Alcohol deals a terrible blow to the entire human body. Liver, heart, brain, reproductive system.. . continue?
Alcohol contributes to clogged blood vessels and this leads to formation of aneurysm (defect in the wall of the vessel, the bulging of which is torn under the pressure of the blood and blood enters the substance of the brain, that is a hemorrhagic stroke. Mortality from hemorrhagic stroke is 70-80%, those who survive, it's hard to call people - this plants are not capable of cognitive functions and self-service) - the dangers of alcohol for the brain.
Good luck!

It depends on frequency and amount of your consumption. In your case, you that you are drinking every week, that interval is fine and the amount is all that matters. Even you are drinking less time but drink hard, it will still have bad effects on your body. You must balance yourself between these to factors to get positive effects.

Drinking alcohol of small to moderate amount may help in reducing bad cholesterol, especially red wine since it contains a high level of good cholesterol. Binge drinking however, may cause liver dysfunction.

Alcohol is identified by the World Health Organizaiton as one of the most toxic substances. With an annual deathtoll of around 3.3 million people (source is the WHO in 2015 though) that seems quiet a legit identification imho.

If you're not overdoing it, it's okay.
There are some studies that alcohol helps our metabolism and has some advantages on our health.

But, make sure that you have limitations because when you are in the influence of alcohol, it's true that you can't control what you're doing or saying.
