yes all this negative impacts is really undermining the effects of social media.Lets not forget that social media also has several advantages as well

Impact of social media, i think every things has two part good and bad. The growing popularity of social media networks and applications has had many positive and negative implications for society. Social media has revolutionized the way we view ourselves, the way we see others and the way we interact with the world around us.

There are lots of impact in social media. People can get a high risk to be bullied. Even though social media can make us connected to our love ones, it makes us feel uncomfortable due to the other users of it. Other's makes way for them to bully others.

The mindset of younger generation will be very different because of social media. In future, they will probably be not able to socialize at all without them.

There's a good and badside on the social media . We all know that every thing that's excess is bad like this social media many teen agers are engage are hate speech, and they are being racist (not all of them) , and they are being targetted by pedophiles on the internet. And most of all the cyber bullying plus they are getting antisocial and doesnt go out when they are on their phones or gadgets.

Unfortunately, a very small percentage of people use social networks to earn money. They are mostly used to escape from real life and live in a fairy tale.

social media is a way to communicates to our love ones, the great communicator, for us to get closer to our love ones, making connected with friends, having a new friends and company. Social media has a great bad  impact to people  itself because they are often prefer social virtual life and becomes idle. Some social media user are being addicted and they are using it in a wrong ways for such as, they used to harass and bullying, social media are also the sources of pornography such as sending nude images, sharing, they also used social media in sending some scam messages, social media used to send treat as well. Social media are prone to cyber crimes. Social Media are used for private purposes sometimes. But in other sides social media is a big help to everyone, it makes the works easily, it allows everyone to have a information that we needs. we all should use social media in a right way and in a balance.

today social media is everywhere. its impossible to get away from the social distractions.

a lot of networking has become very easy, this is the biggest advantage we have. few years back communicating with people across continents was a huge problem and this has been solved in a remarkable way thanks to facebook//twitter etc

Unfortunately, but it's true and nothing has to be done with progress. A heap of social networks, just filled our life and communication with distant relatives became easier and you can already meet online too and travel together with Google maps. In short, the robots are attached to the household of working or clones, and you can lie and not move, but whether it is necessary.

For me there is a negative and positive impact of social media,if we will use it in a better way,that is good, but some people used it for their own interest and selfish ambition,some people used it to make money and some arre using to take advantage of other people.

Now a days, people always use social media to give updates and communicate to others. The impact to us is to give more information what is happening today and the trends.

The impact of social media is negative.  It can brainwash people.  It can change their perspectives in life.  It can make you bieve everything they want you to believe. It makes us judge easily by just sending or posting photos and media.  It saddens me how it effects interpersonal identity of a person but whether it has negative effects it is still the reader to judge whether to believe what was posted on social media accounts.

When it comes to Social Media, everyone is exaggerating all the time and living their fake lives. But on the brighter side people have been able to make money with the help of social media and they are making a living out of it. One shouldn't be totally addicted to social media though.

social media for the most part is a bad thing because it draws away from human interaction as you said. one aspect of social media that i have noticed is good is the promotion of health. people seem to want to eat healthier

and workout more because they can see how others are doing so in the world. when there comes some negatives we must try to look at the positives in that same situation.

So many positives of social media, like connecting people from around the world to one another and for keeping up with friends old and new. But the time spent in front of computer screens instead of in person, as well as the cyber bullying and trolling sure give negatives to this as well. Like some have said here, there are likely going to be positives and negatives of most things, and this is that. I would lean towards saying it’s better than it is worse.

social media progresses as the times and technology evolves, almost all levels of society use social media all the time.
the use of social media has many impacts on society itself, social media has a positive and negative impact, depending on how we use it and how we respond to things that happen in the social media.
we should only be wise in using existing social media, in order to avoid negative impact for us and our families.

Impact of social medias can be considered as a family :
   
    just imagine , a mother and a father ; first the mother stay at home and register all the information at home , she s not going to much outside and just follow just what she heard from people she see in the neighboorhood , at the end of the day , the men bring informations from  outside , he lived those things so he know , the value of the information ,

AT the end of the day there is like a CROSS EXCHANGE of informations ,
      the day after, childrens are going to hear the discussion , and gonna believe the parent they prefer , usually the mother , because she stay close to them etc ...


    in my example , i want to show an idea we can compare to the society , intern and extern facts , but because you are from a country , you prefer to believe what your compatriots said because you feel in security , that's where we can see the  manipulation of the media , because of this false trusting relationship , based on fear ...
     im coming to my example again , if childrens follow all those informations , like the father's , they gonna be aware of the reality ...
   
 so for me , for important news , people should based them researches on others sources to get sure of what they are looking for ...

   i do not bring any answer but just give my point of view , and try to show how we should be informed ...
     

Social media is a great way to communicate with people.It brings people closer even if they are living around the world.But it also has negative effects in our life.People often prefer social virtual life and becomes lazy.Also many cyber crimes can be done through social media

I think it has because of social media, people's mind is easily convinced and sometimes fed with information, this information can be a fact or not. I really think that social media is built to control or influence people's thought about what is happening around us.
