Using social media Web sites is among the most common activity of today's children and adolescents. Any Web site that allows social interaction is considered a social media site, including social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter; gaming sites and virtual worlds such as Club Penguin, Second Life, and the Sims; video sites such as YouTube; and blogs. Such sites offer today's youth a portal for entertainment and communication and have grown exponentially in recent years.

The Benefits was:
Social media sites allow teens to accomplish online many of the tasks that are important to them offline: staying connected with friends and family, making new friends, sharing pictures, and exchanging ideas. Social media participation also can offer adolescents deeper benefits that extend into their view of self, community, and the world.

The risk was:
-Cyberbullying and Online Harassment
-Sexting, can be defined as “sending, receiving, or forwarding sexually explicit messages, photographs, or images via cell phone, computer, or other digital devices.
-Privacy concerns and digital footprint

My opinion everything must be balance in our life, use your social media wisely.

Indeed. Socialization is one of the negative impacts of social media. Since we usually communicate in social media, we lack to socialize in our real world. Besides it impacts the use of our languge. We tend to speak informal language instead of formal language.

I really think that social media has a big effect on the society, because through social media, people get updated. However, this is scary because people easily believe on what they see on the social media, which is not everything is true. We only see what they want us to see.

present social media play a very important role. we getting from sleep onward to before sleeping we are using social networks. it gives more knowledge and profit from media. so social net work has good impact. most of the people doing shopping in online and posting photos and uploading videos and getting into profit. so social media is the best platform to every one.

I think that creators of those thing did not mean to have this much influence in everyday life. But it has. It is lifechanging thing. As you can use it for being better ir what it also is for expanding massive stupidness among the youngsters. Someone will say, Ok it is their life and their dream but man, they are stupid. Now they are trying to began something what they does not even know what it means. For example: Every girl wants to be model. And she is mad when someone does not like them cause she thinks she is a model just because 200 likes on social media.

I agree with this. Because of technology, it is possible to communicate around the world but the irony is that we only see people most of the time online because almost all people are online and have no time for physical communication. It is kind of sad because sometimes, what people see in the social media is not your true self because it is only the good things that people share in social media not knowing that behind that good things are terrible things happening already. It is an irony that you have thousands of friends and followers in social media but how many of it are really your true friends or followers?

Some propagandiz creates page and website to manipulate people on there agenda and sometimes it will become fake news because of there interest in there area. So i think we need to educate people or the masses from spreading fake news all over the world by which is fact and which is not.
