deadcoin.com has been around for a long time and it is a pretty interesting website for newbies to look at and think a little. but it doesn't seem to be that up to date in my opinion. there are a lot more coins that are dead specially with the influx of ICO shitcoins last year the number grew a lot in a short time.

Amazingly even among the so called dead coins are still being traded on exchanges and smart and risky as it is, some ttadeers to make some profit out of of the volatilities that come with it. But investors are adviced to look away
Currently I am holding some dead coins, they are not able to trade, I am saddened to have lost a lot of capital, but also no one can be, because I myself chose the coin that to invest. I really regret and wish not to invest in them.

I think some sprout projects are indeed active but there are projects as well that died out of process and all those investors gone when there is no cash flow or activity of dead projects. Usually the reason is the people nowadays are only wants a new coin or token that has potentially can create revenue and when they done they just leave it. Accept it that's a fact. Only few believe on the real objective of a project and stayed.

Its really easy to read and we can trace why that coin being called as inactive dead coins and the newbie can check them first before they invest. cause their money can turned into ashes when dont be careful.

I think it's not possible for them to check it but that's the reason why some exchanges are delisting it.

Exchanges should also check if the project really exist and not manipulating the market since a lot of them are just a scam.

If a coin is already dead or "inactive", then the coin will probably have no value at all. So people might not actually invest on those coins just looking at the chart and the trade volume. If a newbie does that, then it is his/her fault since he/she did not analyze the market first before investing on those coins. At least he will learn from those mistakes.

It will help us to know which coins that is dead, and we can prevent to invest in that coins. I check the website, and it listed so many dead coins and yes, I am sure that many new coins will launch replacing the dead coins. I think that site gives the completed information about the dead coins, so we know the progress of the coins. And with that site and coinmarketcap, I am sure that it will give more information to us to search valuable coins at the market, so we don't buy the wrong coins.

Yeah. When I was still a new member here I have been one of the victims of those thieves.
I was so foolish into making a lot of profit in just a little amount of time. Greed is really a sin.
Next thing I know those thieves are already selling the same coin that I bought.

They did make it look so real that different person are buying it.  Cry It was not that big amount before if exchanged but now? It could have been a lot.

Certainly newbie might want to buy a coin that is worth 1 Satoshi for example, not even thinking that it will never come to life.

this is a very useful website and it's always on my bookmarks. It's very important to check if a coin is dead or a project is inactive before investing otherwise you risk to have a coin that you can't sell anymore and worth nothing.

how about you go to coinmarketcap ? you can find this kind of information on their marketcap- top 100 coins/marketcap- top 100 tokens
to be honest it is not really hard to figure this out, as long as you are not that lazy enough to do some research.

plus, only a fools or greedy newbies that will fall for this kind of trick.
how can you spend your money into something that you do not know or something that is expensive without knowing it ?

It's good that there's a record of what's dead. Oftentimes as people lose interest in something nobody cares enough to capture and record what was left behind before it collapses completely.

On the other hand, I don't think there's a need for 'awareness'. Provided that it's easy to review market activity, then that indicator is more important. It's also easier to check if a coin is dead with live data rather than by looking at a static record.

I know there are already a lot of bad altcoins. It is certain that these altcoins are not profitable to investors or are projects created solely to attract investors' money and then run away. So we need to have strategies and skills to avoid these projects.

Just look at the coinmarket. If coins dont have a volume, those coins are probably dead or dying. And I found over 1500 cryptocurrency there dead and stopped working forever. A huge number for this market
