Lets look at the situation in a civil manner.  There are still several deficient areas that need addressing:


There still are people who have not gotten their Batch #1, Batch #2, Batch #3, Trade-ins and chip units.

Batch 1,2, and Trade-ins are outstanding orders that should be processed.  Some of these orders, including mine have yet to be added to the store.

2 out of 3 of my orders have been filled.  ~ 4 months later, My Trade-ins have yet to be added to my store account.  I've invested ~$11,000 in Avalon.  
6 months later...Yeah I'm disappointed.

I didn't blame you for anything. If you read anything I wrote I never said "all", I said "some", nor did I ever list any names. All I am doing is adding pieces together, something happened "behind closed doors" and it likely involves some people connected with some of the group purchases. Someone is benefiting... the mafia story is BS, the customs story is BS, etc. If those stories are BS then there is a real story, one which the interested parties don't want anyone to know. Someone took pictures of the chips and posted here for us to see weeks ago.

Do not worry Sebastian, not many people think in the way he presented. For me you did a great job and I am grateful that I could participate in this 'race'... especially in the Batch#1 from you

I bought chips in batch #6.  I don't fault you or zefir the slightest bit.  What's this guy going to come up with next, that this is some sort of a plot by Burnin and BKKCoins and Terahash and LSD, and AlphaHPC, and Bitcentury, and all the others that invested development time and cash for parts into board building?  

And which batch did he buy chips in?  None of them?  Fuck him.  He didn't merit that response by SebastianJu...

Thank you for the arrows you've taken to the knee for the cause. I have no horse in this race but I do recognize the stress and sacrifices made by those trying to orchestrate group buys.

If humans didn't take risks we'd still be swinging in the trees & using rocks as our primary tools!

For your sake & everyone else's that pre-ordered, I hope you get your chips very soon.

Where do you get this? I created a groupbuy and we bought 5.6 batches together. And im behind this all the time. Its disappointing how everytime random users appear and claim things without checking first.

Especially for you again: I called yifu for days 2-4 times each hour. He clicks you away or waits until it ends. He wont answer. I write emails and tickets... its useless. I collected all email addresses from everywhere i could find that belongs to people that are connected to avalon and might know more... no answer.

I thought about sueing avalon but it would be pointless. The time the judge made his decision the chips are worth zero. So we are at some point at the mercy of Yifu. Of course if all is lost and he not even wants to pay a refund we have to sue him.

And then some seems to misunderstood the concept of a groupbuy. Its collecting money so that all can get something they couldnt buy alone. That means that money is gone when the product is ordered.

Let me say you one thing... if i would have known before how much trouble this groupbuy things mean, the hours i spent 7 days a week for months now, the trouble and anger to not reach Yifu and not getting support, the legal things and stress surrounding it, all the data to be collected, up to 95 pm's each day answering... i wouldnt do it again. And i tell this everyone who is asking me if he should do a groupbuy.

And now some random persons come in, i never heard of them, and demand i, and others, pay them back out of their own pocket. Man... thank you so much... i wish i could put the weight on my shoulders on yours for a while.

Burnin is a nice guy. Zefir was very professional too.you are exxaggerating.

The problem is that bitcoin failed twice here:

First, you have more chances to recover your money when paying with your credit card, or paypal.

And second, shit will fall on small miners, just like in reality they do, because system is corrupted.

Do I think when the mafia knocks on your door, you cannot get on an internet forum any time during a five week period?   No.
Do I think that a bunch of "really effing angry chinese customers that have been ignored by a POS" are the mafia?  NO.
Do I think that chips that we all know arrived at the forwarder in Hong Kong are stuck in CHINESE customs (HK may be part of china but chinese customs in on the mainland)?  No.
Do I think that everything will be fine and Yifu (after defeating the mob and forcing TSMC to run him a whole new ASAP) will ship all the chips next week?  No.
Do I think that Yifu delayed to keep difficulty as low as he could so that his miners that he held back from batch two could make him more money that could finance his "ready ship next generation"?  YES.
Do this help all of us that have batch II and III hashing?  YES.
Do I like making the additional money?   YES.
Do I think Yifu is a great guy for fucking a lot of other people so that he (and all us mining) can make more money?   No.
He is a no face piece of shit.   The sooner you all recognize this, the better.

They have it set up to benefit themselves and their buddies at the expense of everyone else - all of them are working together as a top-down pyramid scheme. They just needed the rest of us to fill-in the purchases and absorb all the excess chips needed to fulfill the fabrication limits. He will refund you a bit to the point he gets heavily discounted chip prices to add to his hashing power.

The boards are probably already done with the chips on them.

I asked burnin what was his refund policy, since I paid in advance fo mor then 30 boards to him for the assembly job, and i paid more then 3500 euros for that, and he answered that he will not give full refunds, cause h ordered some parts that are needed for those boards. He stated that he will refund in his "financial boundries". I am really curious how much my refund eventually will be.

He yesterday started to ship boards from zefirs first batch, I am in third.

So basicly i am screwed twice. Zefir said that we should sit and wait.

Has Avalon sent out the bulk of its orders? Is network hash rate increasing? That means people are putting more ASICs on the network everyday. BFL is supposedly shipping orders, there are block erupters, etc.

Now, TH was initially going to ship between mid and late July. Look at the increase during that time frame.

Then it was going to ship all first orders by Aug. 15th - look at the hash rate increase from Aug 1 - 9 and estiamte what that will be in a few weeks to a few months.

The network hashrate is increasing without the Avalon chip orders hashrate. We are missing out on the lower difficulty because of it, independent of how much these chips will increase it when they jump on line.

My belief is that certain Avalon chip order have been sent and that certain individuals are profiting from having the rest of the chips delayed. Who are they? They are the shills on this thread and those who are silent. They were part of the scam that they expect to blow over once it is all said and done. They are the organizers of some of the group buys - they are the main channels by which the orders can be controlled.
