Scammers are not easy to defeat so we as a cryptocurrency members  aren the one to be more careful in choosing a good project or ICO because scammers will do their best to outwit people just for money. Be observant and think many times before joining any projects.

Scamming had always existed long before the Advent of cryptocurrency. Cryptosphere arrival only created another platform to would-be scammers to continue the act, so this is nothing new other than people have to be less greedy and more careful not to get scammed.
Yeah! that's right. Scamming is an old business that existed before any of us were born. But the OP is definitely right about us trying to perform proper assessment before joining any projects.
Also, I believe that in the future as government regulations grow in crypto the rise of scam in crypto will come down.
I disagree, as you have said scammers have been here prior to crypto so for me they will always find a way to scam whether there's regulations or not. Besides if you're going to look at how they works, its like they're always one step ahead of the game. They know the psychology of people and they take advantage of it. So just stay safe and "if it seems too good to be true it probably is", just remember that.

No wonder - fraudulent schemes in the crypto industry are not news at all. Many of them were used long before the appearance of virtual currencies and, apparently, will live for a very long time. You just need to learn to recognize the scum and observe the technique of financial security.
It is true, scammers are everywhere even before cryptocurrency exist. When there is money, expect scammer will come to the scene because they want a piece of it no matter the consequences will be. The best that we can do is protect our wealth and learned more ways for protection which are available on the net.
This is the big problem in crypto market. Everyone wants to make money on illegal ways. They announce fake ICO, collect funds and ran away. It is hard to know the project authentication. I never believe in such ICOs. I always invest my money in big and reliable coins and which are also listed in exchange. I don’t have enough money to try new experiences.

Not a new thing, but it will always be comparable to the addition of crypto enthusiasts, not only in ICO also on websites that prepare investments with the promise of more profits. It will happen sooner or later, but if you have time for wd before, then you are lucky

This scammers are generally all those who starts a new ICO. Majority of them is considered to be a scam sort because they will get the funding form the investors but their coin will either not get listed or will fall drastically in some time only on listing and they will sell their position and get exit.

You are right; this makes the investor too afraid to invest their money in the ICO projects because they see that many ICO is scam the other. They will stop investing in ICO, and they will search for the other way to invest, and maybe they will stick on the crypto which has a lot of coins that can give profit to them. Day by day, the scammers still increase without we can know, so we need to be careful for this and I hope that this scammer can get something bad, especially for their life.

Scammers are every where. They try to take every opportunity to scam people and make easy money off them. It is your responsibility to keep yourself safe from them. The scammers usually leave some trails that can easily be traced. You have to find those trails and spot those scammers out. Like you said, they use bots to increase their visibility in facebook or twitter. Detecting a bot is quite easy. Again, if they are offering something too good, then there is obviously something fishy. You should just stay away from it.

I think the scam is not just happening in the cryptocurrency but also happen in many fields. as long as there are money involved, I think it will attract people to scam other people because they want to make money in a short way. there are the various way that they can use to scam people and we don't know if they are scammers or not and only with careful, we can anticipate their action. don't get attracted with the words saying the big potential income of one project because all the works that we did will need a process that we don't know how long it takes.
the most important factor to avoid fraud usually lies in oneself who really likes something that offers big profits, the way the fraudsters always offer big profits and low costs, so always be careful because there are no big results in this world without work , to avoid fraud always prioritizing security, do research first before stepping so we don't regret it in the future ...
Yeah you are right; scammers are everywhere in the world and in every field of life. Recently in my country some people took billions of dollars from innocent people and told them that they would give them 4% profit on their investment. Just 3 to 4 months they give money to investors from their own money and they disappear from the market. The case is still in the court, but the scammers have pushed that money to other country.

Because of the anonymity, its getting easier for scammers to scam and run away with tokens. There are hundreds of scammers on twitter and facebook who claim to be the officials from one or the other projects and claim that they will get you big discounts in ICO's. All of them are scammers.
I think it's not only in crypto but in the internet area it's very vulnrable to commit fraud and robbery, so I would really ask you to be more careful about any threats that you might get such as phishing sites, ponzi, fraud / scams, hacking and so on, secure your wallet well and don't be fooled by the criminals

Due to the increased popularity of cryptocurrencies, there has been an increased number of scammers both in terms of ICOs and in social media. You would find "official" representatives that would "propose lucrative deals" in the name of the legit company. There is only one result as a consequence - you losing your assets.
Thus, always keep in mind that real official channels of communications work. Also, if you see those posts in social media promising returns without a legit background (a.k.a. a full-blown platform) is a sure way to lose money. Creating bots on Facebook, Twitter, and Telegram is quite easy these days. Make sure not to repeat mistakes that others made before you https://www.cryptocointrade.com/
Not to mention mining pools and app scams going on right now. Some of the Facebook groups that were excellent in terms of trading discussions now turned into scam marketing sites.
The fraud I see is quite common. Even the leaders of so many big groups do the same thing. They hugged the members of the group and gave all the contacts. There is no law that protects people from fraud so it happens every day.

3 years ago there's a lot of scam sites out there that promised to double your money, that was 3 years ago and its easy money for the scammers taking advantage of those who are not familiar with Bitcoin yet. Nowadays they are taking advantage of those who are not familiar with ICO's that's why they switched to ICOs. People think ICOs can make them rich over night.

There were and still are the same topics discussed over and over again. I've seen this so many times and why would any one be surprised if there are a lot of scammer on the net, they always have been lurking, now there's a better catch so why wouldn't they be getting more popular?

Of course, you should not believe such "representatives". And anyway, if it's about money, then no one can be trusted. Be sure to check all the information through the official channels of communication or on your own in the Internet. Scammers take advantage of the insecurity and laziness of newcomers, who often themselves are to blame for being deceived.
Newcomers! I want to appeal to you. Now spend your time on self-study trading in the crypto market. Read how to avoid cheating. And never trust your money to anyone. Any purchase and sale should be exclusively your choice after analyzing the overall market situation and currency.

I encountered a lot of scammers and if you are new in crypto or if you don't have any idea about it, you will be easy to scam, that is why we need to wise everytime and everywhere, to avoid those scammers.

One solution for that avoiding scammers to show up is, we should stay away from them and avoid dealing transactions with them. Although we're vulnerable of their attacks, but it depends on us to determine their tactics but being vigilant could prevent that to happen.

With the advent of new ways of obtaining a relatively fast profit there are also scammers who are always where the big money is poorly protected. Each investor himself affects his result. If he has poorly studied the project in which he invested, or did not take care of protecting his wallet, as a result of which he lost all or part of his money, then he will have a lesson and experience for which he paid.
