As of now there is no replacement for Hardik on one scale level, Dube can bowl a couple of overs but definitely he is not in the level of Hardik. But I don't feel Hardik should be your third seamer either he should be considered as an option when one bowler is having an off day which can happen to anyone but the current team combination Hardik is the third seamer for sure but if he has to sit out due to injury then the entire team combination has to be changed like what happened in ODI WC.

The controversy only erupted due to his bad captaincy in the IPL otherwise it was known before that he would be the VC of the team. I do not know what has happened to him after the injury he has not been quite in the zone. He is struggling both as a batter and not bowling the way he had before, everything will come to an end if he can play his best against Pakistan that is all Indian fans need to shut their mouth. If they lose the WC then it will not hurt them but if the lose against Pakistan then it will haunt the fans for a long time.

If ICC has extended the date then we might see a few new faces in the squad. I hope those who are deserving should be included in the team. Rituraj Gaikwad is one of them as he is now the proud owner of the orange cap.

^ I too think Rohit should get one last chance as a captain of the T20 side. He is not at his best and has been struggling with the bat but as a captain he can make a difference.

Another thing is that Virat might be slow with his SR but he is a pillar that gives the team a confidence by only being present on the field. I do think he should be part of the squad and this may be the last time that we might see both Rohit & Virat in a World Cup.

IMO, Rohit deserved to lead the team for one last time in the WC because we should not forget how he dominated the first 10 matches of ODI WC but one bad day costed the trophy.

About losing captaincy which is not in his hands cause owners decides who is going to be and they didn't hesitate to swap who brought championship for 5 times and regarding Virat he is doing what he can do but the team he is playing is not doing anything at all.

We should not only consider IPL performances for WC, since we are not going to play in Indian pitches so one who has experience in playing overseas conditions will likely to be preferable.

The biggest blunder the chief selector made was declaring Rohit as the captain before the IPL. As of now, he is not in the right state of mind to bat as he lost his MI captaincy to a shit player. He has clearly said in public that the T20WC squad will need Kohli. Two players who are not doing good are already reserved and they will play every game.

The problem now for the selectors is to find 9 players who are good in their domain. Out of these 9 players, they will need 4 bowlers minimum and a wicket-keeper, now they are left with 4 batters and all-rounders who can bat and bowl. The competition is fierce and we will see some new names in that 4 required batters/allrounders/WK. We might see 3 new names on that list who are known for their batting and not anything else. In total the Indian team will have 5 batters and the rest will be a mixture so, the task for the selectors are to find three batters who can help the team in bringing the cup back home after 2007.

We are at the halfway stage of IPL season and the performance will greatly impact the selection committee for the upcoming T20 WC squad.

Ajit Agarkar (Chief Selector of BCCI) once said "Virat Kohli is not suited for T20 cricket". King Kohli got back to back 50 in IPL to answer that guys doubt about him. He is playing at his pinnacle and he is playing far better than he used to do before 2019. The Indian T20 team for World Cup cannot be complete without Virat Kohli.

No way can RCB win the finals of WPL 2024. If you look at the point table DC are the number one team. They have a strong batting depth which is not present in RCB. They won because of poor batting of MI and went on to reach the finals for the first time. MI and DC were supposed to be in the final as per the bookies but that didn't happen in this year.

As we have seen such flukes quite frequently happening in IPL. I was expecting a good final but after RCB entering the finals I think DC will now comfortably win WPL this season. DC is a much stronger team out of all the franchise teams and they have been superb in the league matches. This time they will win and if not then RCB men should learn from the women's team.
