Hi guys Smiley

Please can you help me with how to redeem the presale bought stamps/tokens? I am completely lost in this...I've purchased pre-sale tokens for the crypto stamps 2.0, but now when i go on their website to the onchain store and check the redeem presale stamps box it wants me to pay again the same price for the stamps... Huh Huh i dont get it..I also see nowhere where it is possible to fill in physical address for delivery of the stamps...don't know if i am such a noob or their website and ordering process is unfriendly as fu*k to navigate...?

Thanks a lot for every advice

anyone has received "used" stamps ordered the first day of emission? there is a special ink or a design or something like this?
can you confirm also if the stamp has the 25 Jun 2020 as date of timbre? (I have sent a couple of emails asking this, but they didn't reply Sad )

Still waiting for mine to arrive. There was a special stamp for CS2 but it looks like its only possible to get them at some special philately stores in Austria.
Some of the austrian collectors already got some used stamps.
If you ordered "used" stamps on the official online shop you will reserve stamps that looks like this:

My situation is the same, an order placed in the pre-order has arrived, an order placed on the first day of emission has not yet been processed, otherwise they had already charged the card and it has not yet been executed. But I have an email confirmation. It is a matter of time and waiting.

Just a small update about my presale orders:
All presale orders have been received, the payment method was on account and there were no shipping confirmations for any single order! So maybe I can take away some of the worries for ppl that their orders have not been taken.
I also come from Germany, which is why my orders are more likely to have arrived.

Now I only miss 3 orders from the official release day, two of them with stamped CS2 and one with mint stamps.

When you finished the order with the payment order, in seconds you should have received confirmation in your email associated with the customer account. The order confirmation has a number.
I placed two orders, the first one arrived at my house today and has tracking Tongue. The second I verified that they have not yet charged my card, it will take a few more days to send, but as the value is low, they will send without tracking almost certainly.
Now I'm looking forward to opening the packages and checking the codes. I still don't know how I'm going to do it, if I'm going to cut it with x-act and lift the sticker with my finger. What is the best method?

I hope you all will receive your pre-ordered stamps.
my doge pre-sale order with (!) order confirmation has not arrived (the other motifs came within 2 days).
now after 11 days I called the philately, they checked their systems re my orders, result: "no there is no doge order, has never been one. order confirmation is not binding. online shop was congested during pre-sale. this can happen."
 Angry

i got two emails - one that my pre-order had shipped but gave no tracking and then a second email for the order i placed on the 25th, that one had a tracking. but the tracking has nothing showing yet.

I got only a Confirmation Email from my order, nothing else so far.

Just looking for peace

This Llama for example
FRONT

'Österreich' meaning Austria
'700' signifying 700 euro cents. Cost of a single stamp being €7.
'HIER ABZIEHEN' saying 'PULL OFF HERE' to pull it off and use as a stamp.
QR Code that takes you to the stamp ID.
BACK

[1] signifies its ID which is a number/digit and can be used to check them over crypto.post.at or opensea.

[2] is the 12 word seed that you can use to redeem your physical stamps over at https://crypto.post.at/collection/collectionname

The 220,000 physical stamps can be redeemed so they will appear on blockchain, and the physical stamp can be used as is.

The other 20,000 stamps will be available for Redemption at crypto.post.at and the physical counterpart will be sent to the address provided.

Initial means not sold yet.
Sold means it was sold to someone.
None should mean the shop status doesn't apply as it's a physically sold stamp.
The additional states of "ShippingSubmitted" and "ShippingConfirmed" will appear once shipping the physical stamps for those sold on chain will be possible again.

DO NOT USE OPENSEA TO MAKE ANY TRANSFER OF A STAMP/PRESALE TOKEN TO A COLLECTION:
OPENSEA used Transfer()
CRYPTO.POST.AT uses Safe.Transfer()

The stamps transferred to a collection using opensea, will not be considered transferred and thus won't contribute towards achievement.
You can use opensea to transfer to a wallet and then move the stamps to collection using crypto.post.at only.

What means "presale redemptions" ?

The terms on your sheet are referring to the following sales:

Physical Sale:     1. Physical Presale on Webshop; 2. Regular Sale on Webshop for €; 3. Regular Sale in Austrian Post Offices for €.

Presale Redemption:     1. Onchain Presale with 2500 pieces each animal for 7€ in ETH each (started in May, "Presale-Vouchers/Tokens" can now be redeemed for regular tokens.).

Onchain Shop:     1. Regular Onchain Sale after the 25.06.2020 for ETH.

When is the stamp more valuable? When the seal is unbroken and not stamped or when the seal is broken and there is a stamp on it. Of course under the condition of same colour and same digit.

The printing of the three-dimensional barcode is the last impression, so on some postage stamps the code displaced.

I really enjoyed watching this video of crypto 2.0 manufacturing, so we have an idea.

The seal from the outer package was first to prevent staff/customers to pre-scan the stamp in the post office branches.
I would think that too. But since you could order stamped stamps in the main sale, this statement is invalid again. Because for stamping you have to open the card.
I do not know whether they are stamped by hand or by machine. But if they are stamped by hand and the person knows about the trick with flashlight...  Shocked

yeah, but those are other staff from the Austrian Post. I think not many staff are working in the distribution department for online philately orders. Last year many red stamps came directly from the online orders and I don't think that those staff pre-select the stamps. They are busy with packing 100k+ stamps. ^^ But of course nobody can give guarantee.

I think the Austrian Post's motto: "You order one stamp, you get one." So you get a stamp and a NFT, that's it. After you get it they don't care what you want to with it. not their responsibility for resales, ebay,.... Grin

The seal from the outer package was first to prevent staff/customers to pre-scan the stamp in the post office branches. But I think they did not think about the possibility that online buyers can do pre-scan at home without breaking the seal and send the stamps back. In Austria (maybe European Union) you can send back online ordered items within 14days if the items are in original condition, except those stamps made with customer's instructions like stamped CS.

Probably I have found a "variety" on CS1. (on the picture this is a black one token)

Take a look on the upper left corner of your stamp. Probably you can find these two black points.
It's not common since looking a lot of stamps on ebay I have seen just in a couple of items.

....

In Italian we say: "varietà di riporto" that it should be small difference in a design of a stamp that allow to differentiate a stamp from other ones in a same emission. I don't know how it's called in English @krogothmanhattan maybe you are aware of the right term https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filatelia I have found this definition on wikipedia (Italian). Below a generic example http://www.catalogospecializzato.it/francobolli/varieta-riporto/riporto-1945-1954/4511/653

If some one want check CS1 I am pretty sure there are more stamps with these 2 black dots on the upper left corner Wink

Concerning the current outrages fees for redeeming presale tokens, Andreas Petterson (one of the developers of the Crypto Stamp 2.0) announced the following today:

"There will be several improvements. The first which will go live likely early next week will be an option to redeem PS tokens directly to wallets which will lower gas costs on average by significant amounts. note this will help only presale redemptions > 10. other improvements are in the pipeline as well."

This are good news! I am also excited for the other ten approvements they want to add.

Droove around with receipts from mailbox to catch the delivery car and found it with luck,

a really charming driver girl gave me 2 fatty envelops under a tiny summer rain to keep the scene fresh.

Post.at envelops, Redeemed, cost of gas, Safe Low (1 kilometer).

It strongly reminds me of the Panini football images of my childhood, all those little packages to open,
the little frenzy of contentment by keeping the suspense going and the friends to swap the doubles stacked and surrounded by a rubber band.

Thanks Crypto Stamps team and Post.at for this very enjoyable moment.

Presale orders at home, Safu.

Rololeau looking good, Touching with eyes only so far.
