I do think it is a great time to have your #83 cards graded.  Any #83 ginter x, silver glossy's, or any numbered cards.  I doubt I would grade and regular common or mini's..  300.00 is a little much to pay for grading for the commons.

Yep I'm just waiting for psa to catch up, not worth a "quick" turn for $300 that's robbery.  Will wait for the value and economy options come back online.  They are catching up the backlog fairly rapidly now.  I imagine there is a ton a more graders working than we're in 2020.  Wonder how it's gonna effect the quality of the grading.

I wonder if economy prices will ever come back.

They will no one will grade a card worth under $500 ever again beckett will take all of their business.  They will 100% be back.  I imagine a good portion of their business is value and economy.

Beckett raised their minimum grading cost to 250.00, yuk.

Beckett and psa will get a dose of market cool off.  Trust me the $20 grading will be back shortly.  As card prices continue to fall so will be the urgency to grade especially at insane prices.  Grading is mostly for flippers, it needs to make cost sense for people to grade and right now it's not unless you are sitting on diamond cards.

Looks like #83 has cooled a bit.  When bitcoin takes off again I believe we will see a surge in prices for these cards.  This is the perfect time to have your cards graded during this lull period.   Cool Cool

It's not the #83 it's the whole market.  Sports cards definitely peaked early this year and have all come down significantly.  Even though it's not "sports" the crypto card will also move as the sports card industry moves.

I think the #83 is however more closely tied to the price of bitcoin than it is to the sportscard industry.

I don't know Dolph.  There is no direction connection to price like load value or anything.  If you track the price rise and fall it coincided with the entire sports card craze.  Not saying there isn't different collectors of the crypto card but the rise and fall have been the same.

Well maybe a little of both

Keep alert 83 Crypto card fans, Ohtani is blowing up now too.  the first player since Babe Ruth to be at the top of his game as a hitter and a pitcher.  Dust off those old cards and find them.  a base card is pushing 200 these days.  ideally, you'd have in hand now since the all star game is soon and he made the list in both.

there is a lot of white on that card's edges.  at 700+ now. and it looks like a PSA 6 to me.  I can't zoom in, but tons of white.

That's one big reason to be extra careful when buying ungraded cards.

Personally, I rarely take a chance on ungraded #83 Cryptocurrency cards from eBay anymore. At this point in the game, everyone knows the extreme high prices that a well-graded #83 Cryptocurrency card can bring, so when I see a rare ungraded card for sale, I immediately think, "It was previously graded. It scored a low grade. And the owner cracked open the case and is selling it as "ungraded" in order to prey upon the hopes of newbie buyers who may not know better."

Yes, this is a pessimistic view. And against my own advice, I've taken the chance and been proved wrong in the [recent] past. However, this scheme happens all the time in the general baseball card game with cards valued at a lowly $100 or less, so I imagine it would most certainly happen with the rarer #83 Cryptocurrency cards which are valued into the thousands of dollars.

Just a thought and a word of caution to the collector / investor.

BP it happens all the time on eBay, cards can go to a professional evaluator and if not deemed mint or gem end up on eBay.  Rarely will you ever get a raw card that would gem at psa.  Raw cards are such a risk on eBay.  I've been burned enough to know ebay is a raw sports card mine field.

Edit: want to laugh go to eBay sort by highest value and check out the 4th pic on the glossy 1/1.  They put in a picture of bitcoins price from Google  Cheesy. What does that have to do with anything.  Cmon is it someone here?

Yes. I see it. Maybe better to put one of the many future btc predictions of six figures. That will get fomo going.  Or a photoshop photo of musk holding the card
