I never expected the black lotus to take off the way it did.  You just never know but, you can clearly see if you want to play in the higher end cards it takes a bit of cash.  This is where I believe the crypto card is headed for the very rare ones.

That auction says that the population of that card is 1 of 1, that's definitely not true.  Sad

It takes a few days after the official grade is given for the population report to update. That may be part of the problem.

Could do like Storage Wars...YUP!!! And make him pay      Grin

Ok,... I got it to $625... Your turn! Cheesy

Please stop raising the price on that NNO #83 card. I'd like a chance at winning the auction. Wink

Regards,
Me

PS — I'm seriously thinking of opening my sealed Ginter X case and selling individual boxes. (Probably around the $400 mark, unless I sell them on eBay where I'll charge $500+ per box.) I'm currently just checking interest here, but if enough people are interested, then I may go ahead and sell boxes for the holidays. (It may be a Ginter X Christmas!)

LOL... But.... There could be a 5k autobid on that card though! Tongue

As for the X boxes, yes, I'll buy at least one. Wink

Cheers! Smiley

I expect some official reviews to come out from beckett on the hottest selling cards from the 2018 allen & ginter offering and overall opinions of the quality of the cards.  For newer cards quality control is usually not an issue as a general rule.  Sometimes there are some issues but, that only increases the value of a gem mint graded card.  I think the crypto card will be the #1 non sportscard seller for 2018 and might even include all sportscards.  I expect to see some close up photos of the blank back, and the majenta printing plate and the red mini from the ginter x offering with sale prices in a beckett soon.  Great incentive for the next offerings that include the crypto card.  Will it be leaf, donruss, topps, will it be basketball football or hockey, who knows it might be curling. Thanks MrStacy, for the reminder. Oh yeah, if the quality of the card stock is not as robust as the other production cards, you can bet your bottom bippy that they will be worth more. Because grades are affected by that. Also another incentive to get those cards graded/authenticated/sealed up. Handle cards with care.

* I also think that it translates into next years cards packing some real WOW FACTOR

The NNO's are the same as the black mini's, right? 50 made?  Here's something that I learned last night hanging out at my local card dealers...the collectors, in general, don't like the Allen Ginter cards, because the paper is so much thinner than the other Topps line of cards. Ya learn something new every day....I'm thinking that if that's the case, and they are so much MORE delicate...then they should be worth a LOT MORE....am I right? Cheesy

There are 100 black minis and only 50 NNOs.  The OP has the counts for each type where available.

Makes sense to me. A 10 of a delicate card is more valuable sense there'd be less of them i'm thinking.

It looks like if you bid $476, you might be the high bidder now. Go look at the bids.........it will be interesting to see just where in the heck that price lands  Cheesy

Yeah ... it always looks that way. I bid it up again to 480 and still not winning, and it's not even something I really require lol... Tongue

Agree. These no number haven't had accurate pricing compared to mini black. Im thinking because collectors are trying to get all 350 ginter xs but not necessarily all 350 Nnos

The word "Cryptocurrency " is spelled incorrectly.  I missed this because of that. Price may not go astronomical as many won't find it.

Yeah I don't know about that. I bid it up to like almost 500 bucks and gave up for now as someone has placed a very large autobid... Tongue
