I won't argue much about the usefulness of this thread since it is already mentioned in the first post.
To be clear this thread should include every competition that don't have already a dedicated topic. For example, European competitions from Champions League, Europa or Conference League, Nations League and EURO qualifiers have no place here and should be reported. Same goes for African competitions since they have their own thread.
For CONMEBOL, a member posting in this topic proposed to create a topic and I encourage him. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/conmebol-2026-fifa-world-cup-qualification-south-america-5465893. Once it gets enough attention and became popular, CONMEBOL related discussions should be moved there.
Otherwise, this topic will gather the remaining and less popular football competitions. If you detect a spammer, you can report him.
This topic is open for everyone and Bitcointalk rules apply on it obviously, I don't see why I am obliged to make a self moderated topic, and I don't count to but you can feel free to do so.

What make me not understand is Neymar, he can play for Brazil, but he haven't play any single game in Al Hilal. Based on few sources I found if Neymar is still injured lol, I think he has no interest to play in Saudi Professional League. Wihout Neymar, Brazil can still able to beat Bolivia to be honest.

There's no any good matches yet, we will see a big match in the next 2 months where Brazil will meet Argentina.
Brazil thrashing Bolivia 5-1, it was an easy game for them. Neymar Jr is available for club level games but he doesn't missed out on international games, he's always at his peak whenever he feature for international games. It's quite unfortunate for Saudi side to keep waiting for him to recover, while he's fully fit for gamed. He can't be pressure because he's a big-name and he does what he does to fit in. Neymar Jr have priorities to meetup which is actually breaking record for all time goal scorer for Brazil. He netted a bracd and gave an assist, showing strong excellent contributions to the team.

Although this is again typical for Neymar. On one days it is said that he is injured and on the next day he is sitting in the plane on his way to Brazil to play for the national team. Doesn't really seem to be very plausible, but yes he is too big of a name I guess that anyone in Saudi Arabia would dare to criticize him. He did even play the full 90 minutes. It would be a bit ridiculous when he now comes home and one week later is injured again or claims to not be able to play for his club.

But his stats are definitely impressive as he now stands at 79 goals in 125 games for Brazil. But lots of interesting things are coming in the future as I wonder whether the national coaches will keep all those players on their teams who have now decided to play in Saudi Arabia. Usually I think the league is not competitive enough to then have the ambition to win the World Cup for example. But for as long as the players keep scoring, I guess they will also remain part of their national teams.

Am I still off -topic?
You are not off topic since it is mentioned that friendlies are a part of this topic, maybe we should put [Friendlies] in the beginning of the post to avoid confusion. By the way, Germany won 2 - 1 vs France, a good result after their humiliating defeat against Japan by 4 goals to 1..

[CONMEBOL Qualifiers]
Argentina is leading with 2 goals to 0 vs Bolivia after 60 minutes of the game and Bolivia are playing with 10 players after the red card.

OP, if you don't leave this thread only for Conmebol then you are "off-topic", so, you are spamming board and encouraging it, there are already several threads with reference to the topic from other ligues and/or confederations on Topic football .

It's a shame because there wasn't a thread about the FIFA Conmebol specifically, then, we'll have an onslaught of spam, it's shit that should stop.

Anyway, I think this is my last post in this thread that promotes spam.

Argentina surely did the job in the first half, the altitude of La Paz (capital of Bolivia) takes its toll on the physical condition of the players.

It would be interesting to see the Saudis' reaction if Neymar aggravated his injury and things went like Pogba did last season (interesting doesn't mean I'd want that). A really strange situation and I didn’t notice it until I read your comment. Apparently, after a pause due to international games, Neymar will still play his debut game

The image shows the partial 0x1 but the first half ends 0x2, there are no more goals because it is being played in peace*, surely in the second half we will have the addition of a couple more goals.

A misfortune for the Bolivian team not to achieve a draw.  That's all for now, friends, friends, whatever.

Edit:
(*) in a figurative sense to refer to its capital "La Paz".

80' 0x2:  The altitude definitely takes its toll on the players.

3 games will be held tomorrow in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification - CONMEBOL matches:
Bolivia vs Argentina
Ecuador vs Uruguay
Venezuela vs Paraguay
Argentina is better than Bolivia and they should win this game away. Paraguay is better than Venezuela and they shouldn't have any problem also.
For the match between Ecuador and Paraguay, I find both of them quite equivalent with a slight advantage for Paraguay maybe.

South American games are very difficult to predict; they don't score as many goals and they rarely have a good victory margin too. With Bolivia vs Argentina; tipping Argentina to win is the safest bet; while ecuador vs uruguay would fit an X or Both teams to score. What do you think ?

Argentina vs Bolivia World Cup Qualifier match is about to start after 2 hours. Bolivia will get a little more support than Argentina due to playing at home. However, Argentina is a stronger team than Bolivia. Argentina are unbeaten in 11 matches. Argentina vs Bolivia last 5 matches, Argentina won 4 matches and Bolivia won 1 match. We saw that in the last match against Brazil, Brazil defeated Bolivia by a huge margin of 5-1. In this match I think Argentina will win and win by a big margin. What team do you think will win?
There is no comparison here. The match is still in the first half and 1 goal has been recorded from the Argentina. But this doesn't mean that there won't be any goal. Bolivia is playing at home so we do expect them to give a 100 so that their home side will be proud. In the end Argentina is going to win, they are dominate and that is how it has always been. In the previous encounter between the two teams, Argentina won 2-1.

Many top games today between many strong countries. There is also Germany that will play against a very strong French team in a friendly game that will be a bigger test for the Germans and their new coach. Germany has suffered a really poor record in their last several games. The new temporary coach in charge of the team for now may like to remain coach for a while longer and will be focused on doing very well. If he can guide the German team to very convincing victory over France, that will be a way to show his intentions.

Lol : Off- Topic!

Red card for you, bro, I mentioned it at the beginning, it's a shame OP won't take this thread in moderation.
I like football, but I am female, not bro. Kiss The Topic of the discussion also is misleading, plus I curled in the discussion concerning the international friendlies because of this from the original poster.

Messi is a doubt for this game, according to coach Escaloni himself, he already did the job against Ecuador.  Wink

In the match against Ecuador, Messi suffered a minor injury. However, Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has stated that Messi is fine. However, against Bolivia, it is likely that Messi will not be included in the Starting XI.
Bolivia is the weakest team. So I think this is a good strategy from the Coach because with rest it is hoped that Messi will recover quickly from his minor injury.

Bolivia (5-4-1): Viscarra; Medina, Quinteros, Jusino, Suarez, Fernandez; Bejarano, Villamil, Ursino, Arrascaita; Moreno.
Coach: Gustavo Costas.

Argentina (4-3-3): Emiliano Martinez; Molina, Romero, Otamendi, Tagliafico; De Paul, Fernandez, Mac Allister; Di Maria, Gonzalez, Lautaro Martinez.
Coach: Lionel Scaloni.

Maybe Neymar has a spirit of patriotism within him so he still decided to play for the national team. Or because this was an easy match so Neymar was played as a warm-up after recovering from injury. But indeed I watched the Brazil vs Bolivia match and I thought even without Neymar Brazil was still too strong for Bolivia.

Any team in South America has the odds to beat Bolivia, so, without Neymar or in fact the substitutes, the result would have been the number of goals.

Bolivia is the weakest team in the area currently and it depends on the Altitude,  where its stadium is located, 5000 meters above sea level, so when it plays at home, they  must win or draw, it is prohibited to lose in La Paz, capital of Bolivia.

Just like Jordan Henderson; Neymar is a football veteran in Brazil; his experience counts as long as the coach is concerned and i believe thats why the Brazillian coach is not too worried or concerned; like they say, Form is temporary, Class is permanent. Its also good to watch Brazil win without a number of players; with Ancelloti coming soon; they are in good hands.

I think it is the media that is spreading the information of Neymar's injury and his inability to play for Brazil and his club. Now that Neymar has played for Brazil. It is now that he does not have the zeal to play for his new club in Saudi Arabia.
Who says that he is not willing to play for his new club. If Neymar is not interested in playing for his new club, why sign the exorbitant contract? It is just that the media likes whoever that is doing well and whose name is popular. They make more money when they mention names like Neymar, Ronaldo, Mbappe, Messi and more of them.

The game between Brazil and Bolivia saw the samba boys thrashing the visitors by a resounding 5-1 win and I'm not surprised. The game while it was one sided, was still and interesting one to watch as the visitors where struggling to keep up with securing their defenses and  punishing counters from Brazil and failing woefully.
Neymar's first chance at goal was when Bolivia conceded a penalty in the 17' but missed. Real Madrid forward, Rodrygo broke the deadlock in the 24th minutes and that ended the first half.
I really enjoyed the way they didn't let over confidence make them relax at just that goal because second half, Neymar redeemed his loss by adding two more goals to his belt and more goals from Abrego and Raphinha sealed Bolivia's fate.
Bolivia wouldn't be able to play Brazil and that was what led to the excess goal in the match. It is a pity that Bolivia was messed up this way by the Samba boys of Brazil. Though the match was one sided and it was like the Brazilians were on a training field. Good goals from Neymar and Rodrigo. OP, I appreciate your observation on this board to create a thread where we can discuss on leagues that don't have a thread created for them. Now we can enjoy every discussion on football.

It is very "strange" that there is not a thread for one of the most successful confederations of all, given its relationship between countries and World Cup winners, in short, I think that hopefully the thread will manage to stay in good contention, with true analysis and no "template" answers, it's a shame that OP hadn't put in a thread with moderation and the truth is that I don't like them, but given the situation with the sports topic on the board, it would been preferable.

Brazil should have scored 12 goals, that's my calculation, I already mentioned it recently, I like it when they win these easy games 1x0, 2x0, that gives them reflection, and not overconfidence, in any case it's a long road...

I didn't see the other games, so... but I saw the summary of the vzla, Colombia and Argentina-Ecuador; two "powerful" teams against the supposed "weak ones".

Venezuela and Ecuador, they did what they always do in this Zone,  defend themselves and take advantage of the opportunities , it was not easy but they are two teams that if they do not want to find themselves with difficulties at the end of this difficult conference, They should not let these close matches slip away. Valuable draw points are crucial.

In fact, the home factor is crucial to qualify (Obviously, but in the CONMEBOL qualifiers, even more...), so the only one who could do the "task" on this first day was Peru, who managed to get a valuable firts point. (So, Bad job! for the others visitors teams, since everyone who played at home got the 3 points).
