In the match against Ecuador, Messi suffered a minor injury. However, Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has stated that Messi is fine. However, against Bolivia, it is likely that Messi will not be included in the Starting XI.
Bolivia is the weakest team. So I think this is a good strategy from the Coach because with rest it is hoped that Messi will recover quickly from his minor injury.

Bolivia (5-4-1): Viscarra; Medina, Quinteros, Jusino, Suarez, Fernandez; Bejarano, Villamil, Ursino, Arrascaita; Moreno.
Coach: Gustavo Costas.

Argentina (4-3-3): Emiliano Martinez; Molina, Romero, Otamendi, Tagliafico; De Paul, Fernandez, Mac Allister; Di Maria, Gonzalez, Lautaro Martinez.
Coach: Lionel Scaloni.

What make me not understand is Neymar, he can play for Brazil, but he haven't play any single game in Al Hilal. Based on few sources I found if Neymar is still injured lol, I think he has no interest to play in Saudi Professional League. Wihout Neymar, Brazil can still able to beat Bolivia to be honest.

There's no any good matches yet, we will see a big match in the next 2 months where Brazil will meet Argentina.
Maybe Neymar has a spirit of patriotism within him so he still decided to play for the national team. Or because this was an easy match so Neymar was played as a warm-up after recovering from injury. But indeed I watched the Brazil vs Bolivia match and I thought even without Neymar Brazil was still too strong for Bolivia.

Any team in South America has the odds to beat Bolivia, so, without Neymar or in fact the substitutes, the result would have been the number of goals.

Bolivia is the weakest team in the area currently and it depends on the Altitude,  where its stadium is located, 5000 meters above sea level, so when it plays at home, they  must win or draw, it is prohibited to lose in La Paz, capital of Bolivia.

Bolivia - Argentina,,,Che.... tomorrow 1pm   Embarrassed

3 games will be held tomorrow in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification - CONMEBOL matches:
Bolivia vs Argentina
Ecuador vs Uruguay
Venezuela vs Paraguay
Argentina is better than Bolivia and they should win this game away. Paraguay is better than Venezuela and they shouldn't have any problem also.
For the match between Ecuador and Paraguay, I find both of them quite equivalent with a slight advantage for Paraguay maybe.

Just like Jordan Henderson; Neymar is a football veteran in Brazil; his experience counts as long as the coach is concerned and i believe thats why the Brazillian coach is not too worried or concerned; like they say, Form is temporary, Class is permanent. Its also good to watch Brazil win without a number of players; with Ancelloti coming soon; they are in good hands.

I think it is the media that is spreading the information of Neymar's injury and his inability to play for Brazil and his club. Now that Neymar has played for Brazil. It is now that he does not have the zeal to play for his new club in Saudi Arabia.
Who says that he is not willing to play for his new club. If Neymar is not interested in playing for his new club, why sign the exorbitant contract? It is just that the media likes whoever that is doing well and whose name is popular. They make more money when they mention names like Neymar, Ronaldo, Mbappe, Messi and more of them.

The game between Brazil and Bolivia saw the samba boys thrashing the visitors by a resounding 5-1 win and I'm not surprised. The game while it was one sided, was still and interesting one to watch as the visitors where struggling to keep up with securing their defenses and  punishing counters from Brazil and failing woefully.
Neymar's first chance at goal was when Bolivia conceded a penalty in the 17' but missed. Real Madrid forward, Rodrygo broke the deadlock in the 24th minutes and that ended the first half.
I really enjoyed the way they didn't let over confidence make them relax at just that goal because second half, Neymar redeemed his loss by adding two more goals to his belt and more goals from Abrego and Raphinha sealed Bolivia's fate.
Bolivia wouldn't be able to play Brazil and that was what led to the excess goal in the match. It is a pity that Bolivia was messed up this way by the Samba boys of Brazil. Though the match was one sided and it was like the Brazilians were on a training field. Good goals from Neymar and Rodrigo. OP, I appreciate your observation on this board to create a thread where we can discuss on leagues that don't have a thread created for them. Now we can enjoy every discussion on football.

It is very "strange" that there is not a thread for one of the most successful confederations of all, given its relationship between countries and World Cup winners, in short, I think that hopefully the thread will manage to stay in good contention, with true analysis and no "template" answers, it's a shame that OP hadn't put in a thread with moderation and the truth is that I don't like them, but given the situation with the sports topic on the board, it would been preferable.

Brazil should have scored 12 goals, that's my calculation, I already mentioned it recently, I like it when they win these easy games 1x0, 2x0, that gives them reflection, and not overconfidence, in any case it's a long road...

I didn't see the other games, so... but I saw the summary of the vzla, Colombia and Argentina-Ecuador; two "powerful" teams against the supposed "weak ones".

Venezuela and Ecuador, they did what they always do in this Zone,  defend themselves and take advantage of the opportunities , it was not easy but they are two teams that if they do not want to find themselves with difficulties at the end of this difficult conference, They should not let these close matches slip away. Valuable draw points are crucial.

In fact, the home factor is crucial to qualify (Obviously, but in the CONMEBOL qualifiers, even more...), so the only one who could do the "task" on this first day was Peru, who managed to get a valuable firts point. (So, Bad job! for the others visitors teams, since everyone who played at home got the 3 points).

It's nice to have a thread like this to discuss another matches/competitions
If anyone is interested I created a thread about South American qualifiers to 2026 World Cup: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.62805054
But no one has posted so far... Tongue
Here on the forum I've noticed that not many people are interested in South American soccer, people like and know more about European soccer, and even talk more about Arab soccer  Cheesy
Yeah yesterday I was about to create a topic about Conmebol qualifiers then I said no need to do that since if there is a lot of discussion, people would created it years ago in this section.
It is true most members in Bitcointalk are interested in major European leagues and competitions with a glance in Saudi Pro League and African national teams games. American and Asian competitions are rarely discussed here, that's why it would be better to make a unique topic about all of them until we see that they deserve their own thread Wink

Brazil punished Bolivia with 5 goals to 1, good performance from Rodrygo and Neymar who both scored 2 goals. Uruguay 3 - 1 Chile, I expected more from Chile, at least a draw..
Next round will take place in 3 days with Bolivia - Argentina and Peru - Brazil mainly.

Yesterday I watched the Brazil x Bolivia match, which ended 5x1, and Neymar is now Brazil's top scorer in official FIFA matches with 78 goals. He's passed Pelé.

On Tuesday there's a game that's supposed to be more difficult, against Peru.

In this thread you can share your predictions and your discussion about international competitions that don't already have dedicated topics like UEFA EURO or AFRICA FOOTBALL DISCUSSION.
This topic can include national football teams or even clubs playing in official international competitions or friendlies.

Right now we have 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification - CONMEBOL matches that started yesterday with Paraguay 0 - 0 Peru, Colombia 1 - 0 Venezuela and Argentina 1 - 0 Ecuador.
Two matches left for this round between Uruguay - Chile and Brazil - Bolivia.

You are completely right, unfortunately my team lost against Colombia, but it left a bitter taste in my mouth, I didn't see the team as bad, but I didn't see them well either , plus one comment that I didn't like was that they said that Luis Diaz was more valuable that the entire Veneuel squad, which earned me a comment in bad taste, because okay, I know that Luis Diaz is a star, but in Europe, because when he played against Venezuela he couldn't even score a goal, so he was a star in everything. In both cases Hubeice scored many goals, or at least one, and in truth the goal they scored was due to the carelessness of the central defender who was careless and did not run until the Colombian arrived and scored the goal with a header, an almost flavorless goal, but at the same time final is a goal, so good for the Coloibano who did a good job, but I think the team lacks more, in addition we must recognize that they were stuf in Barranquilla, where the Referee also greatly favored Colomiba, worthy of any local, to have certain rpivileges that the others do not , However until now the elimination rounds have begun, there is still a long way to go.

One of the most Popular games in the second half was Argentina vs. Ecuador It seems to me that the Ecuadorians have not lost the level they had during the World Cup , and here their star Messi came out and scored a great goal like If he placed it with his hand, he didn't have a chance to hit the goalkeeper, Messi is very good at free kicks, he totally fooled the Goalkeeper, I think that until now in the qualifiers that has been the best goal of all , I have I have a lot of hope for a game in particular, it's Brazil vs Bolivia, I want to see how the Brazil team is playing, which I don't know, but I'm very curious about how they will be playing , because Brazil has so many stars that I don't know what they will come out with, although Maybe there I read something that I didn't like, that maybe Anthony hadn't been summoned, I don't remember why, but I don't know if it was fake news , since it was on Facebook and sometimes they make some of the very fake Publications.

Nice initiative you got here mate, This thread can serve as a decision ground for various leagues,  I believe this thread will go down well with other sports bet lovers,  I can't measure how helpful threads like the UEFA Champion thread and the premiere league and the other football discussion threads that we have on this board.

Such discussions are very much helpful in terms of analysis provision and other information that can help sports bettors make better-informed decisions as they stake the bet, More exciting it is that this thread is coming at a time when various football leagues are on,  this is just a start of a new season so we should expect to see comments.
