http://intersango.com and http://www.intersango.com don't resolve to https://intersango.com

First two links don't work.

https://intersango.com has not been down at any time in the last 10 days.

@phantomcircuit: I was going to close my account two days ago when I realized that I still had some (tiny)  funds at Intersango. How do I withdraw my BTC when I'm below minimum payout?

Transfer additional bitcoins and then do a single request above the minimum.

Intersango was supposed to be a UK exchange.

And now it doesn't look like they can be bothered to pursue that avenue again.

Having said that, I'm glad all my money is out of it now.

You should change this bit:

Intersango offers a secure and reliable way to buy and sell bitcoins

Let people know you are closing shop from the start.
Exactly, and more than likely with people's money as well. The website is now down!

What about PLN withdrawals?
I'm waiting for a tiny amount for 3 days now and its status is still requested.

I've had more people ask for the GBP market to be closed than for it to remain open.

So just a few moments ago I closed the GBP market.

Great, now close the rest of the site.

I'm sure we wont have to wait too long......

I used nothing but Intersango for months and never had a problem with them, the only issue I had was the few days it took to transfer snailmoney to them so I switched to an exchange that allows instant purchases and transfers the coins upon receipt of fiat. All the same I wouldn't be in a hurry to go back to them as they seem to be winding down the exchange but the few complaints out of thousands of transactions hardly justifys the scaremongering.

Which exchange automatically converts on fiat reciept?

I think there ought to be a warning on the page where people create sell orders in GBP. This is where such information would be most relevant IMHO.

there is a prominent warning on the accounts index page which is the page you're redirected to after logging in.
