Uh, I would save the order history, actually. When they merged the older intersango into the new intersango the transaction history seems to have gotten lost Sad

Thanks very much. I took your advice. Just in case.

Currently the migration code does not contain your previous history.

I have a partial script for pulling user histories as a csv file, although it is very much not complete.

Migration to intersango.com

britcoin will be migrated to intersango.com on Sep 19th at 02:00 london time

More information: https://britcoin.co.uk/migration/

1. In the migration instructions, step 4, the URL is truncated and says https://intersango.com/authenticated/openid. instead of https://intersango.com/authenticated/openid.php

2. I followed the instructions and it says my account is migrated, but my funds (not orders) have not been transferred. Is that going to occur automatically on Sept 19 or do I need to do something else now?

I have updated the instructions so that (hopefully) they are more clear.

The actual step of migrating your account cannot occur until the 19th, doing so now will migrate any accounts from the previous intersango.com or intersango.us

Thank you. I assume account migration means the whole thing will be shipped over, including account balances and order history.

And then it is working again.....

I take it work is still ongoing on the site?

Same issue as before apache logs were enormous due to someone running a DoS attack.

csrf token mismatch! when I try and log in with myopenID.

Which worked fine yesterday  Huh

Checked with open ID and Its only been my IP but changed my pass again anyway.

After some googlin it seems it stands for "Cross-site request forgery"

Can anyone shed some light on this?

yes, I can join what the others said: so far I have only had very positive experiences with britcoin (and the customer service!) Keep up the good work!

One question, though: what happened to intersango.com? I get forwarded to www.intersango.com which doesn't know my google ID. How can I lock into my old intersango.com account and access its funds/BTCs?

Thanks,

sonba

Register a new account.

You'll need to be logged in before you do the next step.

Go to http://intersango.com/authenticated/openid.php

If you're using google you'll need to put https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id into the box.

I would like to second the words of Vlad, Britcoin (and the other sites run by the same guys, intersango.com and intersango.us) is great.

They have by far the most professional exchange operation running in the bitcoin world and customer service second to none (good luck getting so much as a reply from MtGox if something goes wrong).

I had a large transaction done a couple of weeks ago, I had a couple of issues (my own fault) and they sorted it out pronto. They also take security seriously, unlike most other exchanges.

I just want to leave some positive feedback based on my recent experience of dealing with britcoin (see some recent spikes in volume).

While the interface is a bit non traditional the system has done what was expected from it and I am pretty happy customer. Also a little tip, do not think that the market might look a bit shallow comparing to "big" exchanges. Some deep pockets are watching it on both bid and ask sides. If you want to buy or sell just post your offer at a reasonable price and it might just get filled.

Kudos to Jenjix for getting this thing going. Very convenient to use, particularly for those with GBP accounts with one of major UK banks.

DDoS resulted in 30 GB of log files. Problem has been resolved.

Sorry, what I meant is that me switching browsers takes up to 30secs plus a few minutes (to notice bitcoind is down and to restart it). Was supposed to be a joke Cheesy
