Hi guys,

I just started mining and I've almost earned my first bitcoin. Only 0.3 coins left to go until I'm at 1.0 bitcoins!

Does anybody know if the Lancelot FPGA's are still being manufactured and sold? I'm interested in buying one.

I'm a developer/co-founder of the ecommerce platform FoxyCart.com

We're very interested in bitcoin and are exploring supporting it within our shopping cart system. Since we're built by and for developers, I'm very interested in getting to know this community and how we might be able to help each other. I've been hanging out in #bitcoin and so far, I have to say, this community seems pretty awesome. Smart, rational, and full of technically-minded people.

My kind of crowd. :)

I'm a squid from Appalachia that learned about BTC recently.  I'd love to learn how to mine one day if it is worth my time with just one desktop.  Hello to all!

Hej

My name's byzantine, and I'm a python programmer.

I was busy integrating a trading bot with the btc-e.com api and when they went down 8 hours ago.

I'm embarrassed at the time I spent blaming my code before I refreshed BTC-e.com and found out.

Hi, I'm a newcomer.

I've been mining for some time - just never thought to register for any discussion forums. I noticed this forum when googling for a piece of hardware I wanted to buy, and figured I'd go through the motions of becoming established so I can contact the member accordingly. Hey, at least I'm honest.

I currently mine on mining.bitcoin.cz with four AMD 5850's @ 925MHz (watercooled) and two AMD 5970's @ 825MHz (watercooled). Not much else to say. Hello and happy mining!

Shaunoblue here.

I'm interested in mining BtC's and al looking for a mentor or advice from any experinced miners. I'm seriously looking at ASICs but so far they just seem mythical.

i'm currently using "cgminer". GUIminer worked but now it just stays minimized on the tool bar or in the taskview (bottom right hand) on windows 7. :\ but hey I got a miner thats working!

Right. By now, I'm not into mining...
So, I'm looking for a lightweight client, that allows me to keep the private keys only on my PC.
I've heard about Multibit and Electrum... do you have any recommendation?

Hi,

Nicoin here. Looking forward to participate to this fine forum where people just 'get' bitcoin. I have been following bitcoin for about a year, and as I am getting increasingly worried about macroeconomics / fiat fiasco, I realize how bitcoin might be the light at the end of the tunnel! Daily reader of zerohedge - like getting a cold shower to keep you alert.

I am particularily interested in bitcoin being used for crowdfunding, esp in the creative industries to 'cut the middlemen'. You can find me on btcjam with same username.

I am based french based in the UK, so quite proud that the first insured bitcoin bank will be french - finally we are back in the race after precursing the internet with the minitel!

Anyways, lots to talk about, looking forward to have posting access to the full forum.
