hey everyone, I'm rvbfreak.

I live in the US (Michigan) and play videogames for a living. I've been mining for about three months now and have a nice little MtGox account. See you around.

please do so! and get a post Smiley
don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

Hello everyone! My name is Diego. I'm new these forums but not to bitcoin knowledge. I really would like to reach my 5 minimum post to post in a topic I feel is very important. I, like many others, am having problems with MTGOX and would just like to notify MTGOX members about the problems I'm having. I'm hoping to be allowed to post in this topic especially( https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/mtgox-international-wire-transfer-has-not-arrived-after-24-days-77213 ) since it's a recent one I'm being affected by as well. I hope to learn and inform through these forums. Thank you all for letting me be a part of these community.

Hey, I've been on the forum now and then for over a year now, but just reading.  Have just one 6870 running guiminer.   At this point mostly interested in finding a deal on a fgpa to play with (seems like the direction things will go).
Ciao.

A couple of questions. What's the best way to buy bitcoin? Where do the experienced dopers hang out on this forum? I found Silk Road and I need a few tips.

First tip, don't mention SR.  Ever.

Second, the best way to buy bitcoin depends upon who you are and where you live.
OK. So I live in the Great Lakes area of the U.S., what would be the most low profile way to turn dollars into bitcoin deposits at a website the name of which must never be spoken? Is there a better place on this board to ask this question?

Hello, I am known as Wiz Khalifa.

I have been into bitcoins for 2-4 weeks now. I think they are very fascinating and can't wait to use them! I might be a little noob right now but I think I can change that! Cheesy

Thanks!

Hello I am Tom. I started working around the bitcoin short time ago. I am realy impressed by this new money and I personally think this is a completly revolutionary form of payment.

So I am planning to invest money in this and I would like to create my own mining rig. But for this I supose I have to learn a little bit more.

This is why I am joining this community!

Take care

Howdy!

My name's Dave.  I've been lurking here for a while now.

Currently mining with a single Ztex 1.15x, I have a 1.15y in the mail to (hopefully) arrive next week.

I've also been using Bitcoin mining as an excuse to learn about FPGA development, with the intention of seeing if I can squeeze some additional performance out of the various Spartan6 boards.

Hi,
I'm new here too.  Started mining recently with a couple of 5770's, slow but steady.  This bitcoin thing is interesting, but a buddy of mine keeps showing me stuff he bought with bitcoin, so I'm hooked.

I'm Tim (the Enchanter), owner of the meta-pool Squidnet, and developer of multi-currency web applications.
Also I have been around on the IRC channels since pretty much the inception of Bitcoin, and have decided to give the board a go.
