Greetings for eastern Europe. I've been into cryptography for a long time now. And bitcoins from it's roots interests me. I considered in investing $ in bitcoins (buying them), but now i started mining. Now @ 1x 6950. Hopping to upgrade my rig or even expand to multiple ones. Good luck to everybody!

Hi, My name is Chris and I can't possibly be a noob anymore, since I'm getting spam from someone who scored the Mt Gox database.

Or, maybe I am a nob because I never managed to get any money transferred to Mt Gox yet.

Or maybe I'm not a noob since I didn't lose anything.

Oh well.  Hi, everyone!

enough to retire would be nice but, since I'm an idiot and came in high, any profit would be good.

This anti-troll policy is arguably great to prevent existing trolls from joining the forums. But I put it to "you" that it might create more trolls than it filters! Tongue

Hello all,

I have been following BitCoin for a couple months now and figured I should get signed up on the forum.  I really like the concept and I hope it is something that will take hold as a valid currency for transactions around the world.  I'm looking forward to seeing what the future brings for BitCoin and perhaps make a few friends at the same time.  Smiley

Hi.  Name's Mike

I've been waiting for something like Bitcoin to come along for a long time.  I believe it has a bright future despite initial hiccups and a seemingly rabid media.    I believe it has the potential to overthrow and remake our current way life.

Hello, Ed here, on the east coast of US. I've been waiting for something like bitcoin since I read Snow Crash back in '95 or so. These be some good times.

I'm an old fashioned coin dealer who has been using various stores of wealth against the falling and failing monetary supplies for a while now. This means instead of keeping money around, I buy land that can grow food or host solar energy collectors, I buy gold and silver and I study things that help me stay diversified. A little while ago someone on a coin forum approached me about selling him a coin he wanted in exchange for Bitcoins and I looked into it... low and behold... it works (of course).

I admit I'm not going to risk a six figure coin sale for Bitcoins but I'm also of the mind that you have to get some skin in the game at some point. I'm pretty happy to conduct reasonable sales of collectible silver or modern collectors coins for payment in Bitcoins. We are a brick and mortar company with 20 years in the business. I've accepted almost everything for payment, even firewood so why not Bitcoins?

I like reading collectors getting into it.
