Hi there, I'm a chilean new user who wants to have quickly the 50 posts.

Me and some friends have a website about the global government (not conspiracy theories) called verdadahora.cl and I'm really excited with this new alternative of money who can break the control of the central banks.

And.. well, I think I will improve my english with the time xD

I'm typically a lurker, so it'll be unnatural for me to pass the newbie posting threshold.

I'm a developer, so I'd love to contribute as a developer. I'm currently struggling with the most scarce of all resources, though.

This project is unique in that it intersects three of my top interests:

Austrian Economics (effectively)
Software Dev
Opportunity for profit

Since the launch.is slashdotting, I've been almost entirely consumed with BTC.

I'm a Debian developer from Germany and got to know bitcoin since the ITP was filed. I use it since bitcoind hit Debian testing and do some small mining using the phoenix miner on a Radeon HD 5570 GPU. I consider accepting Bitcoins for my small Hosting business too.

www.trance104.com is my website. I love trading in the stock market and....... Bitcoins reminds me of the currency exchange. I mine bitcoins, but on a shitty little setup. Only getting about 70 Mhash/s. I may improve it depending on how far I want to take this.

Greetings. 1st posting.

I was initially turned off by BC a few months ago when I heard that there was planned inflation. That's when I stopped listening. Boy do I wish I had taken 30 more seconds to investigate.

Kudos to Satoshi. I'm incredibly impressed at how he put the pieces together.

Kudos to the developers for making it better.

Kudos to everyone on the forum who contributes their 2 cents in thoughtful ways.

I'm really crossing my fingers that BTC takes off. I'm personally invested, but regardless, I know that BTC can and will change the world for the better - and that's even more important.

Cheers,
bc

Hello all

I'm relatively new to Bitcoins and mining. I read up on them a while back and thought it was interesting but probably not going anywhere. Checking back, now I can see I was incorrect.... Smiley

I'm a non-traditional age graduate student in math at a prestigious US university, and I have an interest in statistics and also computer science. I've got my client configured fine and a couple of my math buddies and are are talking about building a pool across our University LAN and looking into the mechanics of bitcoin for a little research project. Oh yeah, and free electricity Smiley

Hi all,

I came here to make some extra cash on mining with BTC. I think BTC is neat concept, but in the end, likely won't work. Todays events have shown just how worthless your $15 per BTC bitcoins can be, note the people picking up like 100,000 BTC for 0.01 dollars each.

Hello all,

I am from somewhere in Switzerland and had first contact with bitcoin about a week ago.
Tried to mine some on my semi-old gaming rig but its really pointless (single 5770).

I have, however,  a feeling 99% of bitcoin users are either speculators or miners, i doubt this will get anywhere.
please tell me i'm wrong.

Hi folks, I am Stramash I find the whole idea of bitcoin, intriguing and I love fiddling with my box. I initially came here to get more information on bitcoin itself, mining and to check out genjix because I was going to use britcoin.co.uk

I have spent many hours on here no but only recently decided to sign up.
