Me myself would invest in the 5 or 6 coins that I find the most promising. That doesn't mean that I would spend the same amount of btc for all of them. Some seem better some worse, it's up to you to make the right choice. If you spend the same amount on all of them you would probably end up with a loss, of course that's only my personal opinion. The choise is yours

It's an interesting idea and one I've toyed with for the hell of it too. Obviously I wouldn't do ALL of them, just the promising ish ones.

The issue would be timing for when to get in and out and staying on top of what each one is up to. That would be a full time job in itself.

I think it will not be better tat you invest your money in almost all altcoins, as with that it will be much harder for you to keep a view and knowledge on all coins and on your money and the second point is that not all coins come to legit and successful ,
Yeah it's difficult to control all of the alt you're have it. it's will taking a much of your time and for the point two considers is very important to choose the legit altcoins for you. and you getting a successful doing that.

Hi

I noticed a lot of movement in altcoins and I'm wondering how stupid or how smart would it be to invest in all altcoins.
The idea would be to invest the same small amount in each altcoin.
Then I'm not sure what would be the best strategy from there. I'm pretty sure most coins would bring losses but the ones that grow would maybe cover that plus some?
Collect as much data as you can.  What is the search trend for the alt coin? How big is the community?

The last time I checked (several weeks ago) the profit distribution of all 1000 alt coins is slightly below zero on the profit change (7 days).  With most of the alt coins being between -10% and 10% profit/loss in 7 days. Some outliers, but the more far from the median (~ -1%) the more rare.

If you were to randomly pick one (supposing they are not scam), you have a slightly higher chance to have loss than profit.

I don't think so. Most of the coins are shit and pumping dumping coins. You will lose all of the money. I suggest you buy all of the good coins.

Exactly said, also finding the good coin is really hard. In my opinion if one is interested in making profit with altcoins, needs to be in close observation with the price and make the trading within days to get small profit and not ending into loss.

Many alt coin good for investment and you can have enough profit for buying them .but buying all alt coin will make you lost your money not all altcoin is good for trading many of  the coins is stable and the other ia going be dead. so need to be careful what u choose to buy altcoin.

Definitely not a good idea imo. Most of altcoin is just a shitcoin and many have lost in trading because of that. I suggest to buy only those alts that is worth it like eth, doge, etc.

You'd have the potential to earn some profit, but you'd also have the potential to lose your money. Just choose to do what you think it's best for you and hope for the best.

I understand that people who invest in altcoins don't need long time investment, but instead are seeking short timed pump and dump alts to grab fast money.
Op, probably wanted to spread investing money over many altcoin to diminish losing potential of such operations. If one alt would become successful then money lost on other alts will not be in vain.

It is an interesting approach but very risky. Investing in one altcoin is basically gambling - investing in multiple altcoins is like placing a multibet.

Investing in all alts could potentially earn some profit. It really depends on ho much you made and lose.
I don't think that it needs to invest in all alts just to earn some profit because you can still earn good amount of bitcoin if you choose the coin that has a potential like it has a good dev and also good progress.
Investing in all alts could potentially get negative profit not to a positive one because not all the coins will be on trend or either increase it's price because there's still a lot of coin and it's very hard for you to spread your money in all alts.
You are right about this,i have a friend who was trying the thing we discuss: invest in all alts.
of course it wasn't all of them but he picked like 80% of them blindly and just bought some of them back then.
But he did like 60% loss if i remember good

Yeah right very hard to choose what is altcoin is the best to choose if the price will increase in the future or not..
Thats why i dont invest it i just doing it by bounties because you can get altcoin for bounties for free and hold it for a long time and im sure even one altcoin will increase the future you are lucky to make a profit in the future if the price of that altcoin will increase 10x or more..
pretty good idea,i never thought about this, you can really make some decent money after some time.
But it is possible to trade with altcoins that are not known well, you just need to be careful + always look at the volume.

if investment I prefer to ICO, because I always get more profits, at least 2-fold.
because trading is high risk with dump and pump. but yes if you have a strategy that could be good. My strategy usually find out about the coin information, whether good or not.
Honestly its not a good idea to choose altcoin better to relay in coinmarketcap that where we can see well known altcoin and best to invest..
I think it's just a matter of information, so you can choose a good coins to invest to search for information in coinmarketcap, by looking at a large volume. but I have experience investing in ICO, especially if that a coin have a good project, I can get a double benefit.
