I would advise to invest in any alt on poloniex, that looks like it wont be de-listed, esp the alts under 1k sats,  and really especially the ones under 500 sats, they have seen crazy gains.

Just put 1BTC in each and set a nice x5 return.

EG: buy at 100 sats, sell at 500. it might take 1 - 2 years. but i should think 9 out of 10 will see a pump and give you x5 return.

Bitcoin could be worth $1,500+ in 1-2 years from now

so you could be getting an almost 4 bitcoin "Bonus" every month".

Don't invest in all alt coins because in the end only few coins from your pick will be on the trend it's better if you do short trade rather than long trade like investing on alt coins then holding it for a few months. IMO you can earn great amount of bitcoin if you do short trade mostly on the coins that are on trend and also have an active market because if the coin that you buy have that common requirements for short trading i'm sure that you will earn up 30% from your capital on in just a day Cheesy.

Actually investing in multiple altcoins seems a matter of gambling my friend, because I have realized that these volatile moves are caused by mere speculation rather than real technical or fundamental facts, so it would be really hard to identify the proper time to buy or sell without useful indicators to trade in a false and highly manipulated market.

My advice is to invest to the top 15 coinmarketcap coins . Also invest in some that their idea is truly innovative ( ie IOTA ) .

Almost all altcoins are pump and dump coins. The price of altcoins is very unpredictable, and almost everyone wants to gain profit on them.

Do a lot of research of how to trade. And learn about trading patterns, etc.

The same could be said for bitcoin. Trading is dangerous for sure. Diversify and dont take too many risks.

I suppose that invest in all alts  is the worst choice you can take, you might end up as a bag-holder only. Probably some alts only.

Don't ever do that. Even if one of those altcoins is a good coin, but it doesn't mean you will make on that one enough to compensate for the rest of the losses. Instead just invest in multiple good projects or alts, instead of doing it on all.

I'd say it would be very risky, though I don't have hard data.to back that up.  It'd be like investing in a stock index fund, except for this market here is so much more volatile.  These altcoins are just pump and dump schemes, as others have said.  Investing in all of them?  Yeah, good luck.

altcoins prices more unpredictable than bitcoin prices because if you buying cheap the particular altcoins doesn't mean tomorrow or next month the prices will immediately grown up but some people could made a lot of profit from their altcoins trading activities but until now i have no strategy and don't understand how to predict altcoins with the exact prices

i think its not an bad idea. because the price is too low. and can get the momentum any time. but keep it in your mind that the news about the hacking is still new. and it will take some more time to get the accelerator.

Hi

I noticed a lot of movement in altcoins and I'm wondering how stupid or how smart would it be to invest in all altcoins.
The idea would be to invest the same small amount in each altcoin.
Then I'm not sure what would be the best strategy from there. I'm pretty sure most coins would bring losses but the ones that grow would maybe cover that plus some?

Investing in altcoins at this time can be risky because the exchange rate is low because of the bitcoin price but the exchange rate can go even lower if the bitcoin price get increased in this halving and after it. But if bitcoin price dumps then a profit by selling these coins can be greater.

I think it is not good every day a lot of coins drop and a lot of coins rise so what will be the benefit if you earn at one coin and at the same time you lose at the other, the better is that invest only on those coins which you are well aware with.

When invest in altcoin you must ready to get lost, because when altcoin get dump it really hard to get pumped again

If you have some mining equipment, you can mine some altcoin that offer mining phase to get cin when the diff is low but nowadays most altcoin offer ico

Actually its simple, just buy it when the alt coins price down alot, isn't it? It would be cool if you hold that alt coins for long term .No one knows with that strategy maybe you can covered your loss in other alt coins, but that can also make you loss a lot.

Not all altcoin is you can have profit , there is a  high chance of loosing if you try all of altcoin , also in yobit many coin here are dead and not pumping or it makes more time to pump choose carefully what kind of altcoin you want much better if you study first the coin.

I would prefer to invest in almost-dead coins, I mean the ones who need some volume to remain on the exchange.
You will possibly see a huge rise as the pump only needs a few coins and so, it is possible you may turn out your investment into a giant profit.

that is a bad idea if I understand it correctly.
you want to spread your investment among a lot of "random" coins and then hope that your total profit will be bigger than your total loss.
if that is what you mean then it is terrible, because you are gambling not trading. you have to hand pick the coins that you want to invest in not invest in them randomly and hope for the best.
also you have to choose your entrance for each of those coins so entering in a wrong time may lead to big losses even.
