Investing in ICO's very risky, many ico fail and scam so there is no reason to invest in ICO for this time. Buying Btc is a good stride for long term invest.

No matter what is the status are , it is still adivsable to invest at all times because all cryptos always have the potential to increase the longer they run due to the adoption or to the demand that they will get in the future .

Now the crypto market are on huge dump position and going a long bearish momentum .I think we have a good chance to invest here now specially buy bitcoin or buy some potential altcoins .On the other hand we are not watching any promising ICO .Most of them are scam project .So that it will be better to buy crypto either it btc or good altcoin.

you're right, maybe it's better to invest where you're attracted to it. for me, both of them are the same thing, however, when you need Bitcoin, I think that would be better, especially for now the potential of bitcoin to rise to high prices is so great. however, even though ICO is quite risky, I think there are some ICOs out there that are quite good, you just need to be careful in choosing it. 
A reliable and better investment decision will be to buy Bitcoin. I expect that in mid-February the trend will change and the crypto market will start to grow.
At this point, there is no clear signs of trend reversal. I'm sure things will change for the better but certainly not in february. Spring-summer, maybe...

I believe that here all simply. You need to buy bitcoin and forget about ICO. Now ICO does not work, there is a lot of deception. If the market changes, it is possible for the ICO to change. Bitcoin is secure. Buy it and in 2-3 years you will earn decent money

I diversify with my money. When I have 200$ to spend, with 100$ I buy Bitcoin or Ethereum, with another 100$ I buy many other alt-coins,
and in some new tokens. Why to invest in just one coin and depend on it, when you can have many of them and be secured.
