I think the best coin is bitcoin rather than ICO because yes you will wait until the time that the price will be good and I see that bitcoin will run shortly than ICO that you need to wait for a couple of years to have a good value and sometimes it will value to zero. So for me it is better to invest to bitcoin or put your huge part of capital to bitcoin and small part to ICO you want.

But for me, I would choose to invest in established altcoins while their price are low for I know they will soon rise and make profit for me. With the current condition of the crypto market, I will suggest that you invest more in bitcoin and other potential altcoins than investing in icos because bitcoin is more reliable and it is a very promising and potential coin for hold as it will yield reasonable profit by the time the market recover from the bear unlike icos that may likely not survive the bear but if you have enough spare cash, you can also invest in icos.
