This I think is a good time to invest in altcoin. There was a very negative period and prices have plummeted to the values of last summer, if there will not be very negative news, there will still be some small downward correction but the market in the coming months should grow a lot
It's the perfect time to invest now because the market is too low and you can earn huge profit later.
The market is climbing up, I don't know why you think that it's low right now. I'd purchase as much coins as I can now so I could get more BTC for later.
I think it's still advisable to invest today because the value are still in very low.If you compare to the past weeks or months we are in a peak and everybody believes that it will bull run and all of the altcoins will be in a high value again.

I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.

This is right time to invest in alt coin. You van target few coins, such as XLM, LISK, WABI, MCO and buy some coin and hold, might able to make a nice profit within 6 months or so. Prices are very cheap in lots of coin due to last week crash. good luck
