It depends i think. It depends which kind of investment investor prefer. Many of the investors go for mid or long term where some of them like to trade on short basis. You can chose any of this . I personally prefer long term investment or sometimes i sell when i got enough profit.

what you say is not what I thought ... because no one is able to predict prices on the market ... so don't say people will starve if they don't sell the altcoin they have if the price of the altcoin has gone up from the initial capital ... because it can altcoin alone will continue to increase in the future.
You are right, you don't have to HODL an asset for a long period of time you can quite easily take profits when they present themselves on a short term basis or simply accumulate when good quality assets represent value buys

You will feel depression, if you sell the coin before start bullrun of any coin. Always should sell coin gradually even if price is better than ICO price. That's what I do. Now very bad times in the market and therefore long to wait that the coin will grow is not necessary. I don't expect large interest, so even a small profit will be enough for me.
Once I see my profits, I do not wait more long. I do not see reasons to instead I buy at dip and sell back if there would be a news... I am not a party to long waiting and can't advice or discourage anyone to wait such long.
I agree with you. Don't wait long if your coins have already made a profit. Because it can also easily fall off again.

I think it depends on the decision and what someone thinks, there are some people who choose to keep holding it when he has benefited at that time because according to his observations, if he keeps holding it longer, he is able to produce greater profits. it's better to expand your investment spot into separate parts, because we also need a bigger target for some investment options with regular yields. It also depends on your endurance to anticipate things that are urgent.

Agree that investment does not have to be long term. In investment, there are those who hold for the short term or long term and some even choose to trade in the market because of the greater profitability. It all depends on the investor, not everyone is suitable for trading, so not everyone is suitable for investing in the long run because it takes extra patience
I think you should stick to your plan. If you make deliberate transactions, then you should have a clear plan of action and certain moments to enter the transaction and exit it.
We should always plan before making any transactions and sometimes it might take time to recover its price. We should always plan before only because sometimes waiting will make you lose the patience, instead of losing patience just wait for the recovery and of course, sometimes it may take time.
Investment for the means of turning my money in order not to stop there. Our example is paid to our work in the real world about a thousand, then if we are only kept gradually be consumed for the frequent needs of the household or whatever it is. So then in the waste how good our money was in a part turn to increase our income earlier to get more value than before. So it's not a problem we're going to do or not but we want to play our money by investing or wasting money buying things.
I think you are right, take the opportunity to trade or sell your cryptocurrency and when the value of the above coin price is at the selling price when you buy it is good to sell and don't be too greedy for the price value, because of all the altcoins that have gone up it will definitely go down rapidly

Each person will have different investment plans and long-term investments are still encouraged at some good coins in this market. I don't object to your opinion but all of these coins depend heavily on the upcoming trend so any of our predictions can be wrong. Currently, the crypto market is very volatile and this makes people face a lot of big disadvantages so more care needs to be taken in trading.Of course the uptrend will be back soon so consider choosing some good coins like Ethereum because I believe one day you will make a huge profit from long term holding.
Most of us, we like to get a profit in a short time. By trading in crypto currency it is possible to earn money in a short time, maybe a small amount of money. But, real investors does not just buy & sell, they wait for the perfect moment to achieve highest return of their investments.

Thus some of us prefer to hold for long period to have a chance of gaining big profit. Seeing the current market conditions I also do not dare to make for the long term, daily trading is a better option than waiting for a long time and does not guarantee profit.
