Investment can be risky. Most investors follow others and lose their investment, This is the main reason why people think, long-term investment is risky. If investors use the right strategy by analyzing market trends. Then investors might have very less chance of losing. I believe the best way for long-term investment is to diversify your investment into short and long term investment.

I agree with that. Investing is always about the profit. Investments is not necessary mean that waiting for too long, if the coin that you buy pump up a little you can withdraw it already or what you called short term investment while there is also an investment called long term investment in which you are waiting for too long to pump up so much the coin you buy or invest, meaning you want to earn a good and enough profit for you. Long term and short term investments are different so if you are talking about investments need to wait long then probably its not.
Investing in cryptocurrency is by trading or holding, if someone offers you to invest your btc or any altcoins then it will have interest or double within a certain of time it's a pure scam. If you are knowledgeable how to trade then do it if not then hold for long-term.

if someone really desire to become rich in a short period of time, he should choose profit promising coins. Those digital currencies that have proved themselves worthy enough of investment like bitcoin. It has already given millionaire to this world. I am not against new creations but one should stick with the old ones when newer have risks like scam or failure. 
It does not have to wait long but sometimes we can get these benefits with a long period of time. like now it's almost 2 years I think altcoin that I hold has not increased. even just loss. but at that time I was fortunately not so big because I wanted to know how the progress of the price each year was the original goal
for investment there are 2 kinds of methods that you can do long-term investment and short-term investment, if you want to get a lot of profits then you can make long-term investments because this has been proven directly with bitcoin from the very beginning created until now the price can be very expensive and can benefit a lot from bitcoin holders. if you want to get a profit with a little distance then you can apply short-term investment.

I think investing money in cryptocurrency really don't need to wait long for a long time to have a profit because you can still earn money from it but not that big that you expect, that is why waiting for your investment for a long time is still the best way for you to earn much bigger profit in your investment, as long the market is not down. Well, why not? Quite often, investments that you make "for the future" bring very good results. Another question is, what finances are you investing. If this is the last money you have, then the chance to starve is great. If you have other sources, then you can wait.
When we use money that should not come from needs, we should when we use money, the needs are the same. better to invest sufficiently or as much as we can afford our income. do not force yourself to invest in large amounts.but we are at risk with our monthly needs
