I do not exactly why there is the demand for only Monero despite the market having many anonymous coins like Deeponion, veil among others. I think Monero is just the old and already established coin like bitcoin. If a coin wins the heart of investors, it continues to become popular over time. There are many coins like bitcoin or better than bitcoin, but bitcoin has remained popular so far.
I wouldn’t trust the cat sack because I like to analyze and check everything, I don’t trust with a project that isn’t Analyzing and which has bad reviews or countries in general. Here you need to be very careful.
If its ICO, you need to do more effort on searching about that project not unless if you don’t care to lose money. Anonymous coin is suspicious if they don’t public their plans and projects. We need to be careful always, don’t invest on coins you saw on online advertisement, collect more datas about that. If you accuse of fraud, provide evidence or don't blame them w/o proofs.
If you don't want to trust a blame, please go and check. I have posted this because I know I have read article from trusted source. Research yourself and find out the truth.

Because people will always recognize hold and first of them, which I think monero will be the first of these type of coin, bitcoin is also anonymous coin but now that we are talking of alts, I don’t think there is any other coin in this category that will beat monero for its privacy.Deep onion won’t be bad because they also look very popular to me, so they still got the hype they will make their value increase more in the next few years, especially during the nest bull run, so I think it won’t be a bad idea if you put your investment in deeponion, but whatever investment you are considering, always make bitcoin come first.
I don't have much information on this coin, but I will suggest you take your time and check if the team is working according to plan what they tend to offer in the near future that will continue making the platform valuable. I also believe there are other privacy or anonymous coins you can check out, if you are not okay with this one. This space is a competitive one.

When it comes to anonymity coins monero and dash are the leaders, so whenever there is an interest in these kind of coins the leaders get most of the investment, this is not exclusive to anonymity coins and in fact happens in all the markets, look at exchanges, there are hundreds of them but most new customers go to exchanges like binance and coinbase, and this happens as well in Google where most of the clicks go to the 2 links at the top of your search query. 
I think the potential of any coin to grow or to the extent that it's growth will surpass it's counterpart depends on what the team is bringing to the table. That is, what major updates are they offering? Etc. I think these are what matters. Also, while predicting the future price of any coin remember to take volatility into account.

I have been following DeepOnion since 2017 and I see that this is a completely illiquid coin, I do not believe in its future perspective. I heard that Eth developers are going to build an anonymizer mixer and then all the remaining anonymous coins will drop in price. 
I think anonymous cryptocurrencies are not bad. The only problem is that exchanges don't really like them. And if you need to pass KYC to an exchange, the anonymity is very limited.

Anonymous cryptocurrencies are really in demand among enthusiasts. Just look at the charts Monero, Dash, Zcash, etc. Perhaps Deeponion, Veil and other new anonymous coins will someday be able to replicate the success of their older brethren.
Agree, those coins are old coins with the active developments from the team, after seeing many scams in the new project how far people will invest in new cryptocurrencies and we don't have an idea whether they are successful with their developments.
It depends on how the project develops and also the team that works behind their project, if they have a good program or many who use it for investment tools the price might also increase. I think Monero is more feasible for the long term
I am agree, if want to invest in anonymous coin for long term, better choose monero. Its very liquid coin and i think the price could reach highest price again in near future. When the market at peak, DeepOnion reach more than $4 and the price right now very low

If its about anonymous coin, i think monero is more popular coin than others coin. DeepOnion is good coin and have big community but if i should choose between that coin, i am prefer invest in monero, its more liquid and traded in many big exchangers
