I think it's worth it. Bitcoin will cost much more in the near future. Just do not panic and hold it for 2 - 3 years, or until a huge rise.
You can hold that long if you really dedicate your money for bitcoin and will not cash out no matter what happen.
3 years is long, we can consider it as a time deposit that will earn a huge interest, we just have to be optimistic so our investment plan will work.
All well trained investors will invest in bitcoin because bitcoin has really good value and use to increase in price with time, 2019 will increase the price so better if you invest and hold with patience, now is the opportunity as price is low but very soon it will pump up high and then we will be able to get the reward of our patience and waiting

I've always been watching bitcoin since mid-2013 up to now, and the market/bubble is painfully toxic. I'm not a big investor or economist, and I probably still only have superficial knowledge on how the entire blockchain systems work.

I just patiently watch the graph, and keep telling myself not to invest because everyone tells me it's a giant bubble that will someday pop. Recently, I started to run a few side businesses dealing in Bitcoin as payment methods, but I've never stored it long term and always converted it to cash.

I remember back in 2014 when I first thought of investing in Bitcoin as a long-term investment, and obviously was pressured out of it because everyone kept thinking it was a bubble that was about to burst. I'm starting to think about it again now that Bitcoin is starting to crash - and generally speaking in the past it's done quite well after crashes, recovering and increasing every once in a while.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it to give it a try? This would be my second crypto investment, and I'd be throwing in $5-10,000 at most. Any ideas?

Bitcoin is heading to its the eleventh year, they have proved everybody that it is here today, only people like you who don't believe it, of course only invest what you can afford and you should be the one responsible for any outcome if you have these two motivations then go for it.
Personally really so i have strong believe in crypto currency specially the bitcoin that it is good investment and it has always been so volatile that rise and fall happens, so it does not matter to me if today the price is down as I know tomorrow it will be high, as I take it as an advantage and use to buy at low and sell high it only takes patience but reward always been so huge.

In 2019 in my opinion, is a pretty good time to invest in bitcoin. Why do I say that? because 2019 is the last year before halving day in 2020, and remember at the time of halving day the price of bitcoin is always increasing, this I see from the graph of bitcoin price movements from year to year, this is sure to happen and continue to repeat with the same pattern, so depending on how far we can use the best price movements.
when halving occurs, it will certainly make the price of bitcoin rise again. of course this time will be a very good moment in investment matters. well, i also heard this, and maybe a lot of people have held back the bitcoin they got.

Ill think yes bitcoin it was worth to invest in this year, If we look at the price of bitcoin in the Coinmarketcap are still increase. We hope this will be continue and also the altcoins in the market because it has been many months are past the altcoins drop the price.
The value of every good projects are slowly growing together with Bitcoin, investing now would bring a good profits after sometime, just believe that crypto will continue being supported, Bitcoin will rise and along the way good quality Alts will also grow with it.
That's is right investing in low price for now will give you a good opportunity from earning a good profit and also benefits of holding, afterward sell them into a good price.

They say "Experience is the best teacher" and i hope you would based on this few experiences that you are sharing and go hard on investing into cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin. Never listen to all those FUDs that are being spread about crypto investments because it is no bubble.

The bottom was around $3200 last 3 months, which I consider not far from the present $5200. This will still be qualified a good buy for any trader or investor. The coin is still heading beyond $20000,at that price 2017/2018 investors will just be breaking even and heading towards profit.

2019 will be a potential year for the market. The BTC has just increased to $ 5300 and will certainly grow stronger in the future, causing the whole market to fluctuate. This is a good time for investors to join, because I am sure that by the end of the year it could increase to $ 8000.   Wink
Yeah for sure now is the good time for all investors to invest because price is not very high and they can buy at low price of 5300k because it has much more potential to rise as we can see last time price fo bitcoin was so high that I crossed almost 20k which is really a high price, we can invest now as future is really bright and investing now can save our future.

Always worth investing, this year is actually quite the year to settle some investments through Bitcoin, In my own experiences I looked at ICOs that are actually good to invest at and the amount of opportunities I can gather, lots of great big projects that seemed promising to me.

The current value of bitcoin has started to grow eventually and it gives a liable sign to speculate a bountiful outcome by this 2019. Perhaps, investing this asset is valuable to anyone who keep holding it, as it is grown promising and reliable one among all coins. And with our positivity and optimism bull run will occur soon.

If a person is just going to enter the market, he must start with Bitcoin investments. This is the safest and the most reliable cryptocurrency. So, you can buy it any time, and this will be the right choice.
Most people want to find a good entry point to bitcoin , I think it is not necessary to always hurry to enter bitcoin , I think you should always look for the entry point when bitcoin is on the correction , and now I think it is better to wait 4600-4800 and there you can safely enter

Yes. A speculative one, but good nonetheless. In fact 2019 may be the last year bitcoin is a good investment. Let me preface with a warning: there are lots of good reasons not to invest in bitcoin and I’m not saying it’s a good investment because I expect bitcoin’s price will go up in 2019. It may go down. But bitcoin has several things going for it that many other types of investments don’t, even other cryptocurrencies that may offer bigger upside

Bitcoin closed 2018 with a price that is above $3 000 and many were afraid that it will reach the bottom. The year 2019 is a better year as bitcoin is experiencing a bullish market situation and the cryptocurrency is anticipated to be $23 500 by the end of the year. No one can accurately predict the market situation of cryptocurrency but it is a risk worth taking

yes, in 2019 there is a good time for us to start investing in a few coins, with this initial step that seems to be slowly rising prices, it seems there is no harm if we start investing, before we are far behind.

Actually, to find out the results of something, what we don't know is to try it ... we won't know whether the bitcoin business will be profitable, or vice versa? if we don't try it, if you are afraid of losing? yes, don't invest and expect profits from the bitcoin business. Many people ask how much is the minimum capital to invest in bitcoin? the answer is how much you are ready to lose your capital, so I suggest that you try it first. We are not obliged to succeed, but we are obliged to try, because by trying we will get experience / things that will be very valuable to determine the next step, in a better direction. Smiley
