Don't give me false hope, I need answers, is it a wise move to hold on to a coin that have continuous development but bad value? Or should I dump for other coin? I'm already in a big loss from 3000$ to 400$ presently, the continuous development is why I still hold on. This good or bad ? The project name is (Switch) aka ESH
Just move to another coin, don't waste your time bro because its not a bitcoin so it has less chance of survival.Even though the project is getting developed continuously it will be harder to survive from that much deep price fall.

Crypto is long term. If you have to invest in any crypto project the first thing to consider is to firs thave patience as it is almost impossible to invest in projects and have profit on investments you made not too long  along. If you know the project is stil working, keep holding cos the news updates also influences the price positively.

OP you should have invested that money into top ten or top five altcoins in crypto space, Bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, Neo are better choice for your money, for you to recover now its better to keep holding since development is still ongoing

As long as the project development progresses, I don't think you need to switch to other investments, let alone hear that you have suffered huge losses with coins (Switch), maybe stick with the first decision. at least wait for the coin price to rise or until you can recover your loss capital at that point. but if you want to switch to another coin then I suggest BTC which is safe for investment.

with $ 3000 why don't you choose BTC or ETH. $ 3000 is more than enough, even large enough to be an investment. Don't you do your research first about the coins you choose when they are invested. I even just heard about the ESH (Switch) coin. looks unpopular.
A good and not misleading recommendation is to invest in bitcoin or Ethereum, which is what many experts recommend.

I am sorry to hear about your loss.Switch(ESH) is likely exchange projects. I see that exchange is looks still new.
I can't give certain advice. But, if you want to recover your loss, you can try to invest in defi projects. It can give 10x ROI.
The more profits, the more risks there will be. So do not be greedy in this market, Defi is very profitable but not too many people get those profits. And I've seen a couple of Defi projects crash over the past few days, its value has dropped more than 98%.

in my opinion if indeed the development project or altcoin you are holding is still running, then you can hold on to it,
don't sell cheap!, look at Waves, now it's back to $ 3, because this project is really going well

my advice you can throw away and invest in new coins. believe that there are still many good potential coins that can potentially give you a profit of more than $ 3000. You must focus and be consistent with your next trade, so you can turn your losses into profit

You must have invested when it was on its ATH before the GHOST airdrop. The team of ESH is very active and if you believe that the project has potential then be patient. Unlike many projects, there had been a large development since ESH started. You should've expected the price will get lower once the airdrop is distributed. It's up to you if you can shoulder your loss if you sell your ESH now, but I believe ESH has a long-term potential.

If you can tell the name of the coin then it would be better to give right advice from the experienced forum members. In my opinion its better to give up on the project since the value dumped over 90% so it will be very hard to recover to its original value for a random altcoin.

I find it difficult to give advice, because the current value of the coin in comparison with the resulting loss is no longer of value. Of course, it would be correct to immediately set a stop loss, which would be equal to a maximum of 30%, to fix the loss and no longer remember about this coin. But at this price per coin, as it is now, I would continue to hold it.

I'm sorry for your loss, next time please make diversification rings a bell in your ear before investing in any project, no matter how good a project is always invest some money and not all your money in a single project that isn't Bitcoin or Ethereum

Crypto is unpredictable, you invested in this ESH for a reason, I think you need patience since development is still ongoing, you might end up been surprised what the future holds for this project, non active team is another thing entirely but that's not the case here.

Im not an expert when it comes to investment, but i have a background knowledge since we have Investment subject way back.. before you decided to invest on something, make sure that you're doing research and background investigation . also I advise that we should not put all of our  money on 1 basket. One of the most important ways to lessen the risks of investing is to diversify your investments.
That's so true! Investing is not an easy task, therefore, it requires us to have a lot of things. For example, to be a good investor, we should learn proper knowledge, skills, techniques that can be applied to the market. Also, having experiences is quite critical. Skills such as technical analyzing or doing researches are very important. You're also right that we shouldn't invest all of our capital in one project!

3000$ for a small marketcap coin like ESH is way too much, you let greed in, thinking you will probably make double of that money, you've learn a lesson here pal, this isn't the end of the road for you but only the beginning big you aren't a quitter, take your loss and invest in other better project and goodluck.

The biggest mistake here is going all in on this ESH only, it's a perfect example of putting your eggs into a single basket, if it fells you lose it all, diversification is the best strategy for any crypto investors who know what they are doing, learn from this, opportunities are always present and don't give up

I don't know much about the project but I can tell you what I read from the chart.

This was a pump and dump project like many other similar worthless shitcoins. It's not an oscilator but a degenerator. It doesn't follow the general trend in crypto but has its fake pumps and then dumps back to the mean.

If you bought during the pump you can still wait for another one but in general you'd do better with any of the oscilators like ETH or ADA than this crap.

Its a big loss mate why you decided to invest all of it in one token? To gain more profit? If Im in your situation and as you said the development is ongoing, I will most likely wait a few more months than to sell to cut your loss, just be patience, you invested on them then trust them.

You already waited and lose the value of your investment, if you believe that the project still on its way for developing more then better to keep your assets.

Cutting loses with that huge amount  it's really a big gamble, and you are not even sure if after you sell it out and but another project then you'll be more successful.

You need to think twice and do more deeper analysis before listening to any opinions that will be brought here,
it's your money to take care so make sure to balance everything and not just be carried away by the current situation.
Remember you are inside crypto industry accept the fact that volatilities will make you lose or do the other way.

In Crypto it's really good to investigate before investing. FOMO is real, the fact you invested with such amount out if hype and FOMO and you didn't sell off when you should have, I would advice since they are on development you should just give them little more time to to finish of their development because the coin you are going to buy may end up turning your 400$ to 0 or increase it. Just hope for the best from the project so you can recover your loss.
