There is always a return to be had. Crypto fluctuate a lot and that is where the good money is to be had. For instance the other day DeepOnion was down to $0.61 and then increased to $1.05 within a timespan of 24 hours. This was due to issue on the only exchange it is listed on; NovaExchange. As the issues was resolved, trading resumed and people who invested at $0.61 and sold at the $1 mark, had instant returns.

This is not an isolated case, these scenarios occur all the time. The more you read, the more you study the more coins you learn about, the easier it becomes to detecting patterns and opportunities that may be of advantage to you in investing.

If you are new I suggest you start small, invest in a variety of coins so you are emotionally connected to them, follow the communities, the news, the roadmap deliveries, the price variations etc. The more of this you do, the easier trading becomes.

The most useful advice from my opinion for newbies that if you want to invest in cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is still a most important thing of every portfolio point of view ,but it is no longer the onliest asset. In every well balanced crypto portfolio today you will find other coins, like Ethereum,Ripple,Litecoin,Dash and Monero. If you want to have a balanced portfolio at one point in time, it might be a good strategy to simply reflect the Five most valuable currencies in your portfolio. In every investment you must do your own research first before joining any kind of bitcoin and altcoin crypto but if you think you are not very sure of what you are trying to join then just invest only what you think you can afford to lose so that if times of failure it will not hurt you that much.

Maybe for the beginning you just need to get profit from big coins like eth and stratis. I think it will be a safe investment.
But, if you dare to take risks I think new coins like neblio and kickico will be good for long-term investments.
i agree with that newbies should begin from btc or eth cause these coins keep good value which will give the newbies profits and also the time to learn, and when these guys gain profits and learn knowledge about this market, they can go to other altcoins

With China news, and panic in the market. Is there is any returns on investment for new comers . For eg Ethereeum was $40  6 months back look at now.

earlier days the ICO offerings were cheap. Nowadays and recent ICO  tokens average around a dollar. I meant he Real , BMC etc tokens.

Not sure if we will make money in this risky market, as new comers bring in or pump in hard earned money. Old players are like playing in casino exchange coins from what they bought years ago . They do not feel the pinch as well worry about value, or need to do more homework on understanding the ICO for investment purposes.

Newcomers are walking in a thin rope i ffeel. I am not pessimistic but that's just my feeling. Not much of wiggle room to play as profits are far less than marketed.

New comers must understand how risky it is to invest on crypto. No room for scared here. If they have doubts because of these bad news and panic in the market then better not to pursue for the moment until they understand the risk they are entering.

As far as your statement is concern you have doubts. You are not yet ready. An investor that really knows what they doing will enter even currently there is an ongoing minor and major panic.

This is true. If you people are entering into this world and you end up scared and panicking all the time, then there must be some sort of incompatibility with your attention or approach to the reality in crypto. In crypto, everything suddenly goes up and goes down. ICO coins becomes very big and some dived too low days after it is done.

My only advice: Don't stick too long with one coin.

If it reach your take profit line, be happy and sell it.

I have seen many cool projects that I hope I can buy and hold them forever like SC, STRAT, BTS, NEO... but no. I end up selling them after a massive dump.
As much as I want to buy into that, I am not sure I can. If you believe a coin have prospect, I see no reason why you should not hold on to them for as long as you can. Moreover, what made you consider those coins you just mentioned as cool project is because you have seen so much development, most especially with the increase in value rate in a short period.

However, this does not mean there are some other coins with prospects and as long as you can do your research and buy at a very good price, holding should not be a problem.

stunvn can't even take his own advice.  He bought coins to "hold them forever" yet sells for a massive loss because he bought in at the peak due to fomo and then panic sold the dip.  Which means he held them for a couple months most likely.  But hey, apparently that's "forever" in the altcoin world.

Thats the million dollar question isn't it? No one can guarantee you anything in this crypto market that we are riding right now - too unpredictable and too much price/whale manipulation going on..

Newcomers are walking in a thin rope? You are in at the right time. You would have felt the same way few years ago or even early this year if you wanted to invest. If you follow the trend, you will see how far it has been and if you have been reading the news, you would have known that we are still at the early phase. leave this pessimistic thought of yours for Laggards cause that is sure not where you belong right now.

I told you what i think about it. If you are newbi do not invest some time. First of all learn about investmet, read this forum alot of time, choose your invesment project, do some research about it and remember about risks. If you not be able to do this simple things. Do not invest anywhere. Wish you good luck with your investment.

I think the biggest thing for a newbie is to make your own research first and then ask for forum people's opinions... never relay only on what other people say is good...

Yeah it's always good to research the coin first and ask other people's experience with trading the coin, it's always good to listen to other people when you're a trader just so that you'll know how the market goes for that specific coin but when making decisions though it's good to make a decision based on your own, in that way you can't blame someone so if you end up losing you'll learn from your mistakes and come out so much better.

I'm just curious, why there are so many people who just can say smth like "this is good-invest in this ICO" and nothing more? do they really think that people need to know just names?

Currenlty for making money you need to go for strickted ICO with KYC. and then get some limited tokens that many wont get in huge nuber.
THis type of coin will give you nice flip and return. There is to many ICO to get $$$ from everything.

My advices:

Never go all in!
Never go full dump!
Don't trust anybody in crypto!
I like that. Never go all in. As much as optimistic anyone wants to be, it is still not advisable going all in. You cannot predict what the future holds and as long as we are still in an early phase without much ground, we are still all playing at the edge of the wall. The most important thing is that blockchain technology is an innovation worth being part of at this stage and we surely hope it ends up being the future of how we transact without the banking system.

Always make your own research.
Even if you heard something from the very famous and reliable trader. Do not rush, think carefully!

They also need to take the attitude of others because it is still a beginner, the research itself does not apply if they do not understand the basics. They will understand after the first investment and that is when the experience time will begin, we must be wise to advise because the advice is also determined not from himself.

Eth and btc are good, for sure..but don't start from investing all your funds in big coins, they are pretty expensive for the new investor with average budget.. But diversification is always a good decision

That is right. But to those who are willing to set aside a considerable amount of investment, Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two coins on top. They are the most reliable and so investment to these two coins are less risky as compared to investment to other altcoins. Please research about the projects you are investing into.

Play around and lose somebody. That's the best advice I can tell you to get started. You're going to hear a lot of people suggest this coin suggest that quite what you need to do is pick for yourself. I assume that you're not using money that you could not afford to lose so the best way is to get out there and lose that money. That is the easiest way to learn what to do and what not to do. And you never know you might actually make money in the process.

i can advise to beginners don't invest to shit coin and just buy ICO tokens and research that project.

You are correct bro. A lot of unnecessary coin on the market. and we can't invest on it. We need to research more about any type of coin & then, we could decide anything.
And read white paper & research about the project..
