I prefer investing in bitcoin compared altcoin reason I think altcoin is better used as daily trading only. and I prefer investing bitcoin because of its higher confidence than altcoin
Alts vs BTC both are good for investments, long term investments only suits for altcoins. Because the value of altcoin depends upon the bitcoin price. If bitcoin price increases automatically altcoins price also increases. Bitcoin is good for both investments. We have to choose the altcoins from coinmarketcap and select the high potential and promosing coins from the list and then you invest. Then only the profit will be more while you sell.
If you need profit you have to invest in Alts because there rating are mind blowing
I think every altcoin, BTC or ICO has an advantage, only its value that different, and in my opinion, investment in altcoin has a greater result. but if its altcoin has good growth. besides that altcoin price is relatively very cheap.

I do not agree with you. Every altcoin does not have an advantage since there are a big portion of them which have been primarily designed to rip off investors and scam them. Only the altcoins which are constantly being developed and which have huge communities will attract more and more investors which will help them survive no matter what. Coming to the question posted by op, investment in Bitcoin is far safer when compared to investing in altcoins. here an investor should be able to choose a good investment place, you must go to market and analysis all aspects that could affect the value of bitcoin.
In my own perspective, I would go 50:50 on altcoins and bitcoins. Especially now that Bitcoin is being eyed for ETFs this would be a good pontential for long term value or investment. Then I would trade 50% for altcoins because altcoins are much lower in price there you can see price sky rocket more than 20%. So you would have profit both for long term and in short term.
Industry is moving towards new tech. Id seriously consider diversifying my portfolio. Go for neo, vechaim, qtum apart from bitcoin
If you are planning to hold crypto, try to ask yourself what type of investor you are. Are you a type of investor who wanted to hold this crypto for a long time and forget about it the sell it after over a year or you wanted to get an extra cash while working? For short time holding, that goes to altcoins then BTC for ling term HODL.

actually there's a good return in ICO investment site but it depends if it will succeed to reach the estimated price or let say the target and goals of the project. So i suggest before contributing on it don't forget to make a research to ensure you are in good project and there's a good return after. And also on alt coin same thing as well , wherein make some research because that's the most important and pick a coins that has a potential to hold in long run. Don't just buy without TA 'cause most coins nowadays turn into shitcoin after all. So alway bear it on your mind. And speaking about bitcoin ,well it still promising for me compare to some coins in the market , but it needs more patience . 
In my opinion, we should have both investment but in persentage it should be 70% of bitcoin and 30% of altcoins. Why? Simple because bitcoin is more stable than altcoins and bitcoin prove his worth for a Long time ago. Remember that before we invest we Need always consider the stability of the said coins and very popular with the other investors like bitcoin. And in other hand we also consider altcoins that are following the siccostel of bitcoin.
I prefer to go all routes, for long-term bitcoin is the best option and for short-term and daily trading altcoins are good to make some bitcoin

Investing in bitcoin will certainly be a top choice for me. bitcoin gives me comfort and also a calm in investing. different with altcoin and ico projects that have very fast price movements. in total, bitcoin is much safer to invest. but for anyone who wants to speculate and want to try to gain bigger profits then ico proiect can be an alternative, but please be calculated that the risk is also much greater that we can lose all the money we have. 
I think return on bitcoin investment is more compared to altcoins. ICO investment is totally a different scenario. Prices of altcoins increases or decreases in accordance with bitcoin so it is better to invest in bitcoin.

At the moment, I am prefer investment in btc. Because btc will be bull run or bullish. If i am keep altcoin my asset will be down and I think convert to bitcoin will be okay.

if I have more funds, I feel better to invest with bitcoin, but because the funds I have are relatively small then I invested with ICO, yes even though it is risky, but I am happy to live it, it all depends everyone.

All of them are really good to invest or to put your money as long as you know what you are doing do some search vey well and for sure you will be fine learn how to do charts so you can know when is the perfect time to buy and to sell. Don't fomo or don't ride the running train or else you will be injured.
i get more return from ico, universa project became my first ico choice. from there I get a profit and then I invest in another ico which I think has a good project as a long-term investment.

If bitcoin is rising then altcoins rise faster than bitcoin in terms of percentage because they have lower price but it depends on total market capitalization as well. You can also choose to invest in ICOs because it has a possibility that it will rise more when listed in exchanges but the opposite may happen as well.
If the ICO has a holding period bonus then it would be better because there is a possibility that token holders would not dump their coins. If you want to be conservative then invest in bitcoin but if you want high risk but a possibility of having high rewards then investing in altcoins is good as well as long as they have good fundamentals.
